(Photo by Prince Williams/WireImage) Birdman’s Phone Call With Lil Wayne’s Bus Shooter Surfaces Remember when we told you that both Birdman and Young Thug were being investigated over the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus? Well, it appears there’s some pretty damning evidence to back up these resurfaced claims and push the formal charges forward. A phone call between Birdman and the then-jailed supposed shooter discussing a cash exchange shortly after the shooting has surfaced…and it’s not sounding too good. According to TMZ , the phone call was made while alleged shooter Jimmy Winfrey was locked up at a Cobb County, GA jail in connection with the crime. Winfrey eventually went on to be convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for shooting the tour bus. “Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss.” Now, a source close to Birdman claims that this conversation had nothing to do with the shooting at all. Exactly WHAT it had to do with instead remains unclear. Apparently, Birdman doesn’t even believe that Winfrey is the shooter at all, and claims that he would never knowingly associate with someone looking to harm his “son” Wayne . As far as Winfrey “not being the shooter,” his conviction actually was overturned over the summer due to his judge’s bias. But he’s still in jail at the moment, awaiting a new trial and likely a new plea deal that will see him out of prison in less than 20 years… What do you make of all this? The DailyMail reports that a British woman named Lynsey Plasco-Flaxman sent a racist text to who she thought was her husband. The text read: “NOOOOOOOOOOO ANOTHER BLACK PERSON”, in reference to their new Black nanny, Giselle Maurice, who was working her very first day on the job. Lynsey then sent the text again because she didn’t get a reply. As fate would have it, Lynsey’s text wasn’t sent to her husband, it was sent to Giselle. But get this, instead of owning up to the iRacism, Lynsey fired Giselle on the spot. Why? Because SHE felt “uncomfortable”. The audacity of caucasity in all it’s glory, ladies and gentlemen. To make matters worse, Lynsey claims she sent the text because their last nanny was Black and she expected a Filipino woman this time. How she had a woman she never met working in her house, we have no idea. Giselle wasn’t about to let this evil soup cookie get away with this. She has now filed a $63,000 lawsuit against the couple for discrimination. Lynsey’s husband Joel Plasco said the following to the NYPost : ‘My wife had sent her something that she didn’t mean to say. She’s not a racist. We’re not racist people,’ Why do they always say that after their caught being racist people? SMH.
JEWEL SAMAD/AFP/Getty Images Indonesian Tsunami Death Toll Reaches 800 A devastating tsunami has claimed the lives of at between 800-1,200 people in Indonesia. NPR reports that a 7.5 magnitude earthquake that struck along the coastal district of Donggala on Friday caused a massive tsunami. The death toll is expected to rise as rubble is cleared. Mass graves were dug to bury the hundreds of people killed and an estimated 48,000 people are displaced. The European Union and South Korea have offered $1.7 million and $1 million respectively in aid.

KimYE is having their share of PETTY af arguments, according to a new teaster for “Keeping Up With The Kardashian”. In it, Kim Kardashian is venting to her sister Khloe about a really dumb argument she and Kanye recently had, and is escalated over BANDAIDS. Kim says she Kanye approached her while she was on her laptop, asking to spend quality time together. But, in a instance adorable little Saint popped in, requesting a bath with mommy. Kim obliged and Kanye was not happy.”You’re going to take a bath with him ?!” Then, Kimmy says they got into a fight over a banadid. Kimmy went to get YE a bandaid that happened to be a “Jesus” bandaid and this sent Yeezy into a fit, because he wanted it to be “skin-color.” Kanye snapped: “I’ve slaved around the world making clothes for you, to make sure you find the best outfit. Scrapp Deleon who we haven’t seen on LHHATL since he was sentenced in 2016 is out of jail. The news was confirmed by Momma Dee who sent a congratulatory message to Scrapp’s mother Karen King and posed with him in a picture. Karen also confirmed the news with a photo of Scrapp’s super chiseled post-prison body. Scrapp received a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to drug trafficking. He also received 15 years probation and a $100,000 fine. We wonder what his ex-bae Tommie thinks about all this, she was JUST in jail herself for driving under the influence.
Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Global Citizen Panic Ensues As People Mistake Fallen Barrier For Gunshots At Festival Every year, thousands of people pack into Central Park in New York City for Global Citizen Festival, a concert that boasts big headliners and free tickets, all for the cause of ending extreme poverty by 2030. This year, however, there was some panic at the festival that almost halted the concert. Just ahead of Janet Jackson’s set at the Global Citizen Festival, a fallen barrier caused panic among the 60,000 attendees–who reportedly thought it was the sound of gunshots. Witnesses at the scene told the New York Times that the confusion and fear of an active shooter at the music festival nearly caused a stampede as concertgoers fled. Chris Martin, who was on the stage at the time, tried to calm the attendees down. “What happened is a barrier I think fell down. Of course it caused people to be a bit frightened and stuff like that. But nobody is trying to hurt nobody. You are all safe,” he said to cheers before handing the microphone to NYPD’s assistant chief Kathleen O’Reilly, who also reassured the safety of the attendees. After some amazing sets from the likes of Cardi B and Janelle Monae, Janet Jackson took the stage–and even brought out Q-Tip out as a surprise guest to perform their classic hit “Got ’til It’s Gone.” The Weeknd ended out the night with an amazing performance, and the rest of the night went off without a hitch.
Unarmed Man Paralyzed By Police Wants Charges Dropped A black man who was unarmed when a police officer shot and injured him causing paralysis wants all charges dropped against him. Edward Brown of Phoneix, Arizona says he was racially profiled and the victim of brutality after he was shot in the back. According to ABC 15, on August 5 police responded to a suspicious call about “possible drug activity” in an alley and Brown ran away because of a felony warrant. A chase ensued and an officer claims that he caught Brown trying to hop a fence before he began to walk towards him and then “charged at him.” The officer alleges that Brown made a “swipe for his gun to grab it,” and claims he “felt the tip of his gun get grazed.” Brown says, however, that’s untrue and is using the bullet that was lodged into his back as proof. “If Edward had been trying to take a gun away from the police officer, as has been alleged, as it has come from the police department, he would’ve been shot in the front, not in the back,” said Brown’s lawyer. When Brown was questioned by police at the hospital, he said his back was toward the officer. His family has since launched a GoFundMe to help with legal fees as he fights the case and sues the department. Click HERE to see it.
