According to WSVN , Coral Springs officers were captured on video kicking a handcuffed Black suspect during a petty theft arrest. The cops in the video have been placed on leave pending an internal investigation.
Source: Power Sport Images / Getty Lamar Odom Sued Over Unpaid AMEX Bill Even though Lamar Odom seems to be living a much healthier lifestyle than he has in the past, the ball player still has some issues to take care of. According to court documents obtained by The Blast , American Express is suing Odom for allegedly failing to pay up on his bill. The credit card company is claiming that the former Los Angeles Lakers player owes them a whopping $17,050.83. Lamar has been talking about joining Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league, and he might have to use his first paycheck to help pay off that big AMEX bill. Maybe this debt–or other money issues of the same nature–will be something that we hear about when Lamar releases his highly-anticipated memoir in 2019. From Odom’s Instagram page, it also looks like he’s getting into the business of vaping with some “big things coming soon!” Regardless of this alleged debt, it’s good to see Odom trying to get into some other revenue streams besides basketball.
Source: Steve Granitz / Getty Offset’s Alleged Mistress Drops Song Explaining The Affair According to The Blast , Summer Bunni (the woman at the center of the Offset/Cardi B cheating scandal) is releasing a song she says she wrote during the affair. SB claims she penned “Don’t Matter” over the summer when she first started experiencing “mixed feelings” about Offset after he left her feeling neglected during their short fling. After news broke that Cardi B & Offset were splitting, text messages went viral appearing to show Offset trying to organize a ménage à trois with Bunni and Cuban Doll . This allegedly left Bunni mortified that she has been labeled as a “homewrecker” and says she “never intended to be a catalyst for rapper’s split” because “I really thought he and I were for real.” Summer begins “Don’t Matter” by singing “I’m sick of you, I guess my feelings don’t matter.” She goes on to suggest Offset might have been dishonest with her as well: “You didn’t mean it huh / What you say / You stay lying n***a straight to my face.” However, with lyrics like, “F**k the gossip f**k the tea / I’m the one that you really need.” Go to the next page to see all of the lyrics of “Don’t Matter” as she explains how their relationship played out:

Then, after she reported it to her department, they blew her off. “We have to change something in this department,” she said. “It’s not OK, but sexual harassment happens in this department every day. As women and as cops, we get tough skins and shrug it off, but it’s not going to happen this time.” Yesenia Maida says the bottle was discovered by a 12-year-old girl stopped by to help clean out her office, which was mortifying. “I couldn’t believe it,you couldn’t make up that something like this happened. I feel extremely violated and fear for my safety at the precinct,” Maida, 44, a youth officer at the 52nd Precinct in Norwood, explained. “I’m going into work, looking around and thinking, who could have this to me?” The married mother of two — whose husband works in the same precinct — reported it the next day and claims she almost immediately got pushback from the Internal Affairs Bureau, who she said declined to investigate at first. “They’re telling me that someone ejaculates or puts some foreign substance in my water bottle at a police facility and nothing is going to get done about it?” she said. “I was very upset.” After some pressure from Maida’s commanding officer, Deputy Inspector Thomas Alps, IAB launched an investigation and took the water bottle to be tested. So far the issue has not been resolved. SMH.
Source: andresr / Getty Restaurant Threatens To Fire Employee For Getting Shift Covered One restaurant in New Jersey is facing some serious backlash after a manager threatened to fire an employee who wanted to attend a friend’s funeral and was looking to get their shift covered. The college student from the College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is a hostess at Café Seventy-Two. She texted her boss, Katie, to check if there was another host who could take one of her shifts. As evidenced by screenshots of this exchange, Katie hastily replied, “Are you serious? No,” before the employee had an opportunity to explain the reason she needed her shift covered. “Someone close to my just passed away, and I’m trying to find a cover for my shifts so I can attend the funeral service rather than call out and leave you guys hanging,” the student wrote, also sending a link to the announcement of Michael Sot’s death, who was killed in a car accident on Sunday. The response from her boss was anything but understanding, which reads: “Oh wow thanks. Just don’t come back to work.” Katie continued, “I like you but I’m sick of all staff not taking their job seriously and just f***ing expect me to cover all of your shifts. I have a business to run at the end of the day. And a family.” Screenshots of the exchange were soon posted to a TCNJ Facebook group, where students showed their support for the employee by saying that they would no longer bring their business to Café Seventy-Two. Students also decided to trash the restaurant on both its Facebook (which has since been deleted) and Yelp pages. The restaurant’s co-owner, and Katie’s husband, Ben, wrote an apology, ensuring that the employee was not fired, also revealing their donation to Michael Sot’s GoFundMe. We carelessly let the stresses of family and business replace the professionalism, respect and empathy that every employee and person deserves. We have received countless hate emails, bad reviews and threatening phone calls and ask that they STOP. We understand the anger and animosity that has been created by these posts, and ask for the communities’ forgiveness. On behalf of Café 72 and our family, we offer our sincerest apology. We have been residents of Ewing and operated business for many years in this township.
