Woman Who Survived Thousand Oaks Shooting Loses Home In California Wildfires 24 Hours Later

If you didn’t believe in fate and destiny before, then Deseriee Edman ‘s story will totally change your mind. Edman has survived two of the most deadly tragedies America has faced in recent years: the fatal mass shooting inside the Borderline Bar & Grill, and the tragic wildfires that had most of Malibu in flames. CBSLA reports: Carmen Edman said her family’s harrowing escape from Malibu on Nov. 8 as the fire raged around them came a day after her daughter, Deseriee, survived the mass shooting inside the Borderline Bar & Grill. Deseriee told reporters, “Two-near death experiences that you just don’t expect. I’m trying to stay strong as possible for my family and my friends. And I’m trying to look at everything as positive as I can in these types of situations.” Is it just us, or does Edman’s story sound like a scene from the Final Destination movies? Luckily the entire  family is alive and safe.

Who Knew? Dallas Austin Reveals That ‘Drumline’ Was About Him & Kim Porter

Legendary producer and Kim’s childhood friend, Dallas Austin , had to have the most touching message thus far.  He posted a prom pic of he and KP from back in the day, writing: “This is the hardest post I’ve ever had to do…my mom and Kim’s mom was pregnant with us at the same time in Columbus …I have never known a life without Kim porter from kindergarten through all of our life long experiences in high school, having matching bmws or her being the biggest believer in me making it as a producer and us getting out of Columbus to be somebody ..and we made it!! we were inseparable I feel like a part of my soul has has been taken away.” Most people didn’t know that Kim and Dallas go back that far, let alone that “Drumline” starring Nick Cannon and Zoe Saldana was based on their relationship. Dallas continued, “Most people don’t know that Zoe Saldana played the role of Kim in “drumline” as nick cannon played my character ..we saw purple rain 15times in the theater and if you knew her you knew a strong beautiful smiling gangster angel ! I know GOD is perfect but sometimes even perfect can make a mistake”   He ended the emotional message sending love to Diddy and the rest of the Combs/Porter family. Kim Porter will be greatly missed.

Oxnard To NYC: Anderson .Paak Will Make His ‘SNL’ Debut In December

  Source: Jim Bennett / Getty Anderson .Paak To Perform On Saturday Night Live Next Month On last night’s episode of  Saturday Night Live , it was revealed that  Anderson .Paak  will be the show’s musical guest on Decemever 1. SNL  teased the upcoming performances during the Steve Carell-hosted episode. His upcoming appearance is the latest in a completely stacked Season 44 that’s included musical performances from Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, and this weekend,  Ella Mai . The late night institution’s latest announcement comes during .Paak’s big weekend. The Southern California performer dropped his highly-anticipated third studio album,  Oxnard , this past Thursday night. The project boasts features from huge names like Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Pusha-T, J. Cole, and Q-Tip. This past Saturday, the singer hosted  Andy’s Oxnard Carnival  in his hometown to celebrate the album’s release. Anderson’s upcoming  SNL  episode will be hosted by Claire Foy, who’s starring in the upcoming thriller,  The Girl in the Spider’s Web .

TIME Magazine named their top 10 albums of 2018, and the Bronx emcee’s debut effort Invasion Of Privacy came in at number one. The publication wrote, “Invasion of Privacy delivered—not just on the dark, defensive rap that earned her legions of fans, but also with irresistible hits like the fizzy “I Like It,” which nods at her Latin roots. A Lil’ Positivity: Kanye West Donates $150,000 To The Family Of A Chicago Security Guard That Was Gunned Down By Police

Source: Randy Holmes / Getty Kanye Donates $150K To Family Of Slain Security Guard According to TMZ , Kanye West seems to have been touched by the tragic story of Jemel Roberson , the Chicago security guard that was wrongfully slain by police. The rapper decided to donate $150,000 to the family who had a Gofundme account set up with a goal of only $10,000. Roberson was reportedly working security at Manny’s Blue Room Bar Sunday around 4:00 AM when several drunk customers were ordered out. One of the customers returned to the bar with a gun and opened fire. Roberson allegedly returned fire, then detained the gunman and held him at gunpoint until police arrived. When the police officer got to the scene, he then shot Roberson and killed him. Roberson was reportedly working extra shifts to save up a little extra money to spend on his young son for the holidays.
