Jenner is always posting new products on her social media, and did the same when she posted a pic of a handful of “Astroworld”-branded Lip Kit trios in black boxes that read “I went to ASTROWORLD and all i got with was this f—kin lip kit.” She sent out a message to fans who would be in attendance, announcing, “We’ll be at the merch station,” later clarifying that, “ASTROWORLD lip kits won’t be available at the first show, but I’ll keep you updated on when they will be.” The youngest in the Kardashian/Jenner clan also shared a look at the lipstick colors that will be included in these kits, which include a deep pink, a shimmery red with gold sparkles and a bright cherry red. Scott also posted a picture of the brand new lip kits on his Instagram story the next day, writing, “when ya wife come thru with the pack.” The rapper is clearly excited for the start of his tour, which kicks off on Thursday in Baltimore. Getty Images and Instagram Laura Helm Said She Contracted Herpes From Usher Following Two Intimate Encounters The woman who is suing Usher for knowingly gave her the herpes virus has pleaded with a judge not to OK the singer’s motion to seal evidence in the case. Laura Helm said Usher’s belief that he needs an all-encompassing gag order because he’s such a big star that revelations about his sex life, partners and health coming to light could ruin his rep, are full of hot air. Helm said she has already had to endure embarrassment and humiliation from her herpes diagnosis and from having to publicly accuse Usher over it. “Unfortunately, trials are public and often the contents of a trial are embarrassing, but just because the Defendant is a celebrity does not entitle to him to private confidential trials while the rest of society must display their most embarrassing damages publicly, like the Plaintiff had to do to bring this action for the embarrassing damages caused by the Defendant,” Helm wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Helm said Usher’s legal bid to put a gag order on her herpes transmission case against him not only violates her and the media’s first amendment rights but the courts legal right to a public record. “It is ironic the Defendant, whose lawyer in this matter makes public statements, now asks this Court to gag the Plaintiff. The Defendant, with his power, money and popularity, requests this Court to silence his victims in the time of #metoo.” The alleged victim is adamant that evidence including both of their “content of medical reports or billing records regarding STDs and herpes or third-party claims for the same” be made public once the case heads to trial. A judge has not yet ruled on Usher’s gag order motion.

Getty Images Motel 6 To Pay 7.6M To Help Settle Claim It Called ICE On Latino Guests After a nationwide class-action lawsuit against Motel 6 , the chain has agreed to pay as much as $7.6 million to guests who said their private information was given to U.S. immigration agents, according to court records. Former guests sued the motel chain over privacy violations earlier this year , alleging that the chain handed over their personal information to ICE agents, according to the lawsuit. This lawsuit came after a 2017 Phoenix New Times report that these agents made at least 20 arrests at two Motel 6 locations in Arizona. Under the new proposed settlement agreement, the hotel has also agreed not to share guests’ personal information without a warrant or subpoena, unless necessary to prevent “a significant crime,” according to the court document. “It’s very important in our minds that Motel 6 is putting in place policies and procedures that would prevent this from happening again,” Thomas Saenz–president and general counsel at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF)–told The Washington Post on Tuesday. MALDEF is who represented the guests in the class-action lawsuit. Now, Motel 6 and MALDEF have announced in a joint statement that the hotel has prohibited employees from sharing such information about its guests. “Motel 6 fully recognizes the seriousness of the situation and accepts full responsibility for both compensating those who were harmed and taking the necessary steps to ensure that we protect the privacy of our guests,” it said. Despite this, the hotel chain still did not admit to any wrongdoing. MALDEF filed this lawsuit back in January, on behalf of seven class representatives from Arizona and one from Washington state. It alleged that employees at Motel 6 locations in Arizona gave Hispanic guests’ personal information, such as their Mexican passports and other forms of identification, to agents from the Department of Homeland Security and ICE without warrants being served. The proposed settlement states that Motel 6 will pay up to $5.6 million (at least $7,500 per guest) to those who were placed in immigration-removal proceedings; up to $1 million (at least $1,000 per guest) to those who were interrogated; and up to $1 million (at least $50 per guest) to those whose personal information was given to federal authorities. Motel 6 will also cover the cost of the former guests’ legal fees.
