Xavier Collin/Image Press Agency/Splash News) Evelyn Lozada Denies Rumors Her Daughter Is Dating Usher Wednesday reports surfaced speculating that Usher might have moved on from estranged wife Grace Miguel with model and reality star Shaniece Hairston, the daughter of “Basketball Wives” and “Livin’ Lozada” star Evelyn Lozada… but Ev says ISSA lie! Evelyn posted a screenshot of a Jasmine Brand report about the rumored couple and added a “fake news” sticker along with the caption LIES!!! written over the story in all caps. Furthermore, a source reportedly told The Jasmine Brand that: after Diddy’s party concluded, a group of people, which included both Shaniece and Usher, left the venue. They then went on their separate ways for the remainder of the night. The source adds that rumors of a relationship between Hairston and Usher are completely false. Is this just Evelyn covering for her kid? Or is this the real truth? More than a few folks on social media noted Usher is more known to date women OLDER than him, not younger. Evelyn is more his type anyway right? Hmmmmmmm….
Source: Roberto Machado Noa / Getty The anti-baggy pants crew strikes again! Some might remember Mississippi lawmaker Tom Weathersby proposing a bill that would ban saggy pants a year ago . Low riding offenders could face punishment ranging from a warning to a $100 fine, depending on the number of offenses. Now, South Carolina is on the same wave length. Republican and Democrat lawmakers alike co-sponsored a bill that would make it illegal for anyone to wear their pants “three inches below” the top of their hips, according to WLTX . Violation of the law could result in a $25 fine for the first offense or at the most extreme, a $75 fine plus six hours of community service for a third or more violation. “We have to lead by example,” Charleston County Representative Wendell Gilliard said . “The pants now are being worn below the knees.” Folks were not here for another lecture on pants-sagging. Considering the current fight for gun control in many states, a little underwear glimpse was the least of people’s problems. Swipe through to peep the backlash (and sarcasm) from folks on social media.
Source: Mara Ohlsson / Getty With the holidays rapidly approaching and the end of 2017 creeping just around the corner, it starts to spark a feeling in most millennials — like, hey, we’re getting old. Obviously it don't feel like Christmas cause us 90s babies getting old — (@yftwavy) December 24, 2014 Some folks on social media would even argue that 90’s kids had way better Christmas’ than the kids today: 90s babies Christmas > > > this generation Christmas — Shock (@HeisUNDFTD) November 15, 2016 We’re not saying that 90’s babies had better holidays, but they did have less technical, more suitable toys. Check out these Christmas toys that prove you’re apart of the special group of humans that graced the Earth between 1990 and 1999.
Everybody's been subject to rumors at one point or another, but the ones about celebrities tend to be the most outlandish. Secret societies and cult rituals! Cloning factories! You name it. But even so, when a Watch What Happens Live caller asked Jada Pinkett-Smith to address the “craziest” rumor about her … we didn't quite expect this reply, which you can see in the video below! Jada laughs with Andy Cohen and mulls it over for a moment. “The craziest rumor? That Will and I are swingers.” (Swingers, of course, are couples who meet with other couples and exchange sex partners) We were a little surprised at that answer, but Jada certainly seems amused. (And we guess that it would somehow fit with the rumor that Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith are both gay … somehow) And she says that, even though she and Will have been together for ages, that rumor still somehow follows them. “That's the craziest one. … It’s constant.” As to her general response to the rumor? “And I’m like, 'Yo, I wish!'” For the record, being a swinger isn't something that you're born with. If Jada and Will wanted to be swingers, they could be. Jada Pinkett-Smith also responds to Andy Cohen's next question, replying that she and Will have been together for 23 years. That would be a long-ass time for a regular, non-celebrity couple to be married. The average length of a marriage that ends in divorce is 8 years. The Smiths have been together for almost three marriages, basically. Jada Pinkett-Smith has laughed off divorce rumors in the past , quashing them before they can pick up steam. And they've also managed to basically avoid aging during that time. Jada addressed how they'd managed to remain a couple for so long. “I really think that Will and I just have amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels.” That's always good, of course. “We love to laugh together, we love to learn together, and we just love each other.” That's so cute! “We just have a good time together.” Good — if you need to escape from your spouse to have a good time, you're doing it wrong. (Though you should still, you know, be an individual who can go out and have fun) “Yeah, I guess that’s the secret. Yeah, we just really like each other!” It's funny, because a running joke among LGBT folks on social media is that straight couples don't seem to like each other. Married straight people often joke about their husbands being lazy or their wives nagging or call their spouse “the old ball and chain.” Since many LGBT people had to campaign for years or decades for the simple right to marry their partner, it seemed perplexing to see couples who'd always had that right act resentful, as if they'd been paired up against their will. It looks like Jada and Will just discovered one of the big “secrets” to happy same-sex marriages: actually liking your spouse . The swinging is an entertaining story. But we wonder if it's a deflection. When we think of rumors about the Smiths, we think of the rumor that they're both Scientologists. They've denied it, but it's interesting that Jada doesn't bring it up here. Anyway, see her reaction below in this video:
