Are You Interested In A ‘Sister Sister’ Reboot? Tia Mowry tells Nylon magazine in a recent interview that she has been anxiously looking for a crew to take on the series that shot her and her twin sister Tamera to fame.”Sister Sister” has been off the air since May of 1999, but Tia knows it would make for an interesting reboot. Tia says the original scripts were based on the sisters lives in the interview. She says writers would ask them about how their teenage lives were going at the time and turned those real life situations into scripts. Using the same formula she’s sure the series could be a hit. Tia tells Nylon magazine: “We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show,” she says. “I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.” Any takers??? Who would like to see this happen?
When being an ally goes terribly wrong… White Student Responds To Racist Flier With Her Own Version And Gets Punished A white woman and student at Southern Methodist University thought it was a good idea to counteract “ racism ” and it went terribly wrong for her. According to wfaa.com , the Dallas undergrad, Emily Walker observed fliers being passed around her campus from an unamed source that said “Why White Women SHOULDN’T date black men”. She says the flier was “full of racism” and wanted to do something about it. “I was like, ‘I’m a white woman.’ I’m going to show the author, ‘No, sorry buddy. You didn’t win.’ It hurt the black young men on our campus,” she said. Emily responded to the flier by printing 150 copies of her own titled “Why White Women Should Date Black Men” and posted all 150 copies around campus according to the report. About a week later, she was notified that she was under investigation by the University. Now Walker was issued a punishment of “probation” by the school. Meaning if she does anything else, she’s kicked to the curb. She thinks that is unfair. Walker said the university claimed her flyers added to a hostile environment on campus. Her flyer did use risqué generalizations about white men, but she says it was a satire to send a supportive message to black students. Interesting way to respond…thoughts? Getty Images

After sticking around for daughter Sasha to finish high school, they look like they’ve decided to stay. Michelle and Barack just invested $8.1 Million in a D.C. area mansion according to Yahoo News. The Obamas paid $8.1 million to buy the mansion in a neighborhood called Kalorama. They have been renting the property since January, Yahoo news reported . A little fun fact about the eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half-bath home– it’s in the same neighborhood as the home of President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. There’s no telling if the Obama’s will likely retire in the area, but they will be around for at least another year and change, according to what their spokesman tells Yahoo. “Given that President and Mrs. Obama will be in Washington for at least another two and a half years, it made sense for them to buy a home rather than continuing to rent property.”

According to NBC Chicago , the attack on the driver was “random”. 16-year-old Eliza Wasni went into Walmart in north suburban Lincolnwood, Illinois and stole a knife and machete. Then she proceeded to call an uber. Her victim, 34-year-old Grant Nelson pulled up and minutes later, after starting the trip, she began to hack away at the poor guy. Officers responded to the scene after someone reported a “man was screaming for help” in the area. SMH. Nelson was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The report says Eliza Wasni was charged as an adult Wednesday, after being located near the crime scene in possession of the two weapons. She was denied bond.

Rumor control… Serena Confirms Whether Or Not She’s Expecting A Baby Girl After her sister gave an interview seemingly revealing her unborn baby’s sex, Serena Williams is responding. Earlier this week her sister Venus progressed to the second round at the French Open and was asked in a post-game interview what she wanted her sister’s baby to call her. “She’s going to call me ‘favorite aunt,’” said Venus to Eurosport before adding that she and her other sisters all want the baby named after them.
