Jennifer Garner Files For Divorce From Ben Affleck After two years of being legally separated, Jennifer Garner is finally pulling the trigger on an official divorce from Ben Affleck. If you’ll recall, rumors swirled that Ben had gotten a little too friendly with the family nanny …and Jennifer put Ben on probation with a legal separation. The two split semi-officially back in 2015, but continued to co-parent, share a home, and hang out socially on a pretty frequent basis for the last two years. In fact, these two were so buddy-buddy after their split that most folks wondered if the divorce was really ever going to happen. BUT Jennifer made it clear today that she’s not with the ishts with Ben anymore, and sent the official paperwork in to make their marriage a true thing of the past. But as a source tells Us Weekly , there’s really not any hard feelings between these two: “No matter what happens, Ben and Jen are committed to raising their family as one unit and will continue to do so as it has worked for them. Blac Chyna Left Rob Kardashian Over His Mental Issues As you’ve surely heard by now, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have called it quits — for real for real — and cancelled all plans for their upcoming wedding. But the one thing that wasn’t detailed by those blabbermouth “sources” is the reason things went kaput. But as they’re now telling People …it was the obvious problem that eventually spelled the end for #BlacRob. Chyna has long known that Rob was an insecure recluse , spending his days wearing the same outfit inside his home and eating his feelings…but she eventually hit a wall and realized that there was nothing she could do to help him make a permanent change for the better. “Chyna is super fed up with Rob and thinks he is way too emotional and depressed. She thinks he has terrible issues. He is always battling his own insecurities and is unstable. It’s a major turn-off to her, and she thinks it’s incredibly unhealthy for the baby and their family.” Basically, Chyna realized she doesn’t have the medical degrees or intensive counseling training it’s actually going to take to fix Rob or even deal with his mountain of self-esteem and psych issues. In fact, not only does she feel his problems make him an unfit partner, but she’s grown concerned about his ability to be an effective father to their four-month-old daughter Dream. “They’re living separately and she’s keeping Rob at arm’s length, both from the baby and from her.” Well, damn. Ex-Porn-Actress-Turned-Texas-Teacher Begs For Job After Being Fired Plot twist . We’ve done a lot of stories about teachers who have been fired and/or imprisoned for letting their students to smash their curriculum cakes to smithereens or doing porn. However, we’ve never seen a teacher who might actually have a valid reason for her freaky past. According to DallasMorningNews , a Texas teacher might not deserve the pink slip she was unceremoniously handed. Resa Woodward, 38, taught sixth-grade science at an all-girls STEAM academy at Balch Springs Middle School before she was removed from the classroom in November. She was fired after her past in adult films was exposed on social media. She is appealing her termination to the Texas Education Agency. Woodward said a controlling and manipulative man forced her into “sex slavery,” according to her appeal letter to Education Commissioner Mike Morath, released to The Dallas Morning News this week. “Young, stupid and afraid, I complied to avoid his wrath,” she wrote. “Only a woman who has been through such a horrifying experience could fully understand, but I’m asking you to understand and re-consider the terrible charges being brought against me, the victim of an abusive past.” Once Woodward escaped from her toxic relationship she became a teacher in both North Carolina and Florida before moving to Texas and earning her Masters degree. In other words, she’s not some freakazoid whore who might get pregnant when your 12-year-old son shoots her club up. Fair or foul??? Dr. William R. Harvey Disapproves Of BET’s “The Quad” While some people are entranced by BET’s “The Quad” and its HBCU based storytelling, others think it’s an absolute disgrace, timed to shame historically black institutions during black history month. In particular, the President of a certain prominent historically black college is none too pleased with BET’s new show. Dr. William R. Harvey, the longstanding President of Virginia’s Hampton University , sent a scathing letter out to Debra Lee and BET for “The Quad”, the new series that depicts HBCU culture at “Georgia A&M University.” According to Harvey it’s a poor representation of historically black colleges because the drama centers around “unethical behavior” including sex and drugs and the fictitious school is driven almost solely by the band program. “Devoid of any reference to academics, The Quad is about a president who is promiscuous, trustees who are unwilling to deal with a rogue band director, and a band director who condones criminal activity on the part of his drum major.,” wrote Harvey according to HBCU Digest who obtained copies of the 3-page letter. “The Quad will lead many to believe that HBCUs exist because of their marching bands; that our presidents are unethical; that our boards are dysfunctional and have misplaced priorities; that our faculty, students and administrators are driven by sex, alcohol, marijuana, low self-esteem, parties and a preoccupation with music; that it is acceptable to disrespect women; that university policy can be set by a band director; and that there are no standards of conduct or penalties for bad behavior. Y I K E S. Doctor Harvey also went on to call it “fake news” and said that its February debut is especially offensive. “We cannot afford this kind of storytelling,” wrote Harvey. “It amounts to the type of ‘fake news’ that is prevalent today. You see, all that most people know about HBCUs is what they see on television. What I saw on BET February 1st was not accurate; rather, it was a bogus representation of very important and historic institutions.” Dr. Harvey is known for his strong opinions, he previously defended Talladega College for performing during Trump’s inauguration. Rob And Chyna Call Off The Wedding Rob and Chyna have split up for the umpteenth time…but this time it’s serious. We think. Probably. Despite reports that Rob is so sprung on Chyna and hype to make things official that he doesn’t even want her to sign prenuptial papers …it turns out that none of that will be necessary anyway, because there’s NOT going to be a wedding. According to People , the two finally faced that this entire whirlwind relationship wasn’t working and decided to quietly and non-dramatically call things quits, for once. “They split a while ago. The wedding plans are off. They are both trying to be mature about it. It was less dramatic this time.” As anyone who watched their show knows, “less dramatic” isn’t exactly this couple’s style . So for these two to calmly and quietly split and try to figure out the whole co-parenting thing…seems like they could actually be for real this time around.
