Chris Brown’s Lawyer Denies That Guns And Drugs Were Found Not as if many people are buying the story that Becky beauty queen Baylee Curran is selling out here…but Chris’ lawyer wants to make sure you know that all the stuff about Chris packing heat and illegal party favors in his house is total B.S., and if he’s able to prove that Baylee is full of it , he’s going to push to have her tossed in the clink. Via TMZ : Chris Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, says a woman’s claim Chris pointed a gun at her is nothing more than a false accusation made in hopes of becoming famous. Geragos addressed the media Friday — and made it clear — he says no guns or drugs were found by cops in the singer’s home. He also stated reports Brown’s 2-year-old daughter, Royalty, was home during the alleged incident are total BS. It’s interesting … Mark said his office is still investigating the validity of text messages Baylee Curran allegedly sent which show she was trying to set Chris up. One of the major complaints Black shoppers who want to buy from Black businesses have is that they just can’t find Black-owned businesses. But now a new Google Chrome Extension aims to help consumers find Black businesses easy. BuyBlack was created by Angie Coleman, an account manager at San Francisco-based CodeHS, and it lists Black-owned alternatives to online shoppers’ favorite retail sites. Here’s how it works: Users install the app then a Black solidarity fist appears in the corner of their browsers, which then expands into a drop down list of sites from Black-owned businesses with similar product offerings whenever they search for items online. There are products and services ranging from makeup and clothing to home goods, art, vacation rentals, food, and more. The op-ed also makes mention that Black communities have largely been struck with the issue, which has sparked a robust conversation on Twitter Friday morning. Paul Krugman’s piece isn’t especially about the issues in Flint, Mich. or the truth that many inner-city dwellings still have issues with lead. Instead, it focuses on the lead poisoning policies of presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, both of whom have not made the issue a central focus of the race. Katt Williams’ Assault And Kidnapping Suit Thrown Out Turns out the comedienne that Katt Williams allegedly slapped up and insulted on tour is being a little greedy. Katt’s lawyers had to tap her on the shoulder and remind her that she’s already been paid for her troubles and is going to need to drop her new case — or else. Via TMZ : Katt Williams is the victim of a serious double-dipper — that’s his reaction to a comedian suing him over an alleged beatdown, because he says he’s already forked over a settlement. TMZ broke the story … Ashima Franklin filed a lawsuit, saying Katt attacked and kidnapped her, but sources close to Katt say her suit is just a repeat of claims she made months ago. We’re told Ashima accepted a “small amount” of cash to squash the drama, and even signed a settlement agreement. Apparently, her lawyer didn’t get that memo … and went ahead and filed a $3 million lawsuit for her. Obviously, Katt’s attorneys sent Ashima’s lawyer the previous agreement, so she’s dismissed the suit. WELP. If she took the small amount she can’t go seeking more after finding out Katt has some batsh*t crazy tendencies. Starz Execs Refuse To Cast Chris Brown To Appear On “Power” Earlier this week, 50 Cent took to Instagram to defend “his boy” Chris Brown against the cop’s overzealous response to the accusations put forth by f**kgirl Baylee Curran. As he says, 50’s relationship with Chris goes way back and to that end, he was looking forward to giving him a role on his hit show “Power”. However, the Starz execs put the kibosh on Breezy’s appearance and he was NOT happy about it according to PageSix Chris Brown “lost it” after he was booted from 50 Cent’s show “Power” just before he allegedly pulled a gun on a former beauty pageant contestant. Sources tell us that Fiddy had promised his friend Brown a major role on his hit Starz show, but network execs put a stop to the plan. A source close to Brown told us, “50 promised Chris a big role on ‘Power,’ playing a drug dealer. But 50 didn’t consult the network first, and execs were not happy when they found out about it.” The source continued, “The network insisted that Chris’ casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues. There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.” Despite “the man” putting bangin’ the gavel, 50 ain’t trying to hear it… On Thursday, 50 Cent was still insisting he’ll get Brown on the show, despite the network’s reservations. This footage is crazy! Do you think the police have the right to be yanking on dreadlocks and hitting people after they ran? An angry police officer in Iowa repeatedly yanked on the dreadlocks of a handcuffed Suspect who was arrested after a dangerous high-speed chase. Waterloo Officer Adam Wittmayer, who also hit 24-year-old Montavis Keller twice on the back of the head, was disciplined for his actions after the April 19 incident. “I don’t condone Officer Wittmayer’s conduct whatsoever,” Waterloo Police Chief Daniel Trelka said. Keller’s lawyer Tom Frerichs forwarded the video to the FBI this week and asked for an inquiry. The FBI is aware of the video and is mulling whether to open a case. “I can’t think of any other job in which an employee is allowed to repeatedly hit another person, pull out some of their hair and still keep their job,” Frerichs said. The chase began when another officer spotted Keller flying through traffic. When cops attempted to pull him over, Keller sped away. Other patrol cars joined the chase as the suspect hit speeds up to 90 mph. Wittmayer was able to put down tire-puncturing sticks to disable Keller’s car, which dangerously went around a school bus and then toward the officer, “who had to run to get out of harm’s way,” according to a criminal complaint. Black Hawk County Attorney Brian Williams asked the Iowa attorney general’s office to review Wittmayer’s actions after discovering the footage, according to an email obtained by the AP under the open records law. “I am not prejudging anything, but I do believe it needs an independent review,” Williams wrote to Assistant Attorney General Scott Brown. Brown said he believed no criminal charges were sustainable against Wittmayer in a June 17 letter, saying the officer was “understandably agitated.” Wittmayer could be charged with simple misdemeanor assault, but jurors would learn of all the circumstances involved, according to Brown. “Based upon this fact and my review of the entire matter, the likelihood of a Black Hawk County jury convicting Officer Wittmayer is minimal if not completely non-existent,” Brown wrote. Keller was charged with four felonies, including attempting to assault a police officer, eluding police and possessing 42.5 grams of marijuana with intent to deliver. He did not have a prior criminal record. Frerichs handed the AP the video after the sheriff’s office rejected an open records request for the footage, citing the charges. “I certainly agree that it should ultimately be made available due to transparency and public interest,” Chief Trelka said. “However, this is currently a pending case.” Waterloo has the highest percentage of black residents of any city in Iowa but a mostly white police department. The city has approved settlements with black residents worth nearly $3 million this year.

Subway Creep Files Suit For Damages In Child Pornography Case Jared Fogle , who’s currently serving 15-years in prison for conspiracy to receive child porn, is embroiled in another legal battle. He recently filed a motion to sue Russell Taylor, the former head of his charity, because Taylor was the one who secretly filmed the footage that landed Fogle in prison. Fogle believes that Taylor’s actions have led to injuries and damages against his family and he wants restitution in the form of $150,000. Via PEOPLE Jared Fogle has filed a federal complaint against the parents of an alleged victim who sued the disgraced former Subway pitchman after he allegedly received secret recordings of her changing her clothes and bathing, according to court papers obtained by PEOPLE. Last March, the girl’s parents filed a lawsuit against Fogle, who is serving more than 15 years in prison for conspiracy to receive child pornography and traveling to have sex with a minor, for emotional distress. The parent’s lawsuit alleges that Russell Taylor, the former head of Fogle’s charity, secretly filmed the underage girl and other children while they were changing clothes and bathing at Taylor’s house and gave the footage to Fogle. The lawsuit filed in the federal district court for the Southern District of Indiana is seeking at least $150,000 in damages. In the motion filed Thursday, Fogle says the girl’s parents “through their actions, caused or significantly contributed to the injuries and damages alleged by Jane Doe in her Complaint against the Defendants.” Fogle alleges the parents were responsible for their daughter’s depression, anxiety and emotional distress because of their “hateful and abusive relationship toward each other, which included, but was not limited to, engaging in frequent fighting and arguing between themselves; abusing alcohol and getting drunk; and engaging in frequent fighting, physical abuse, and arguing with Jane Doe.” Fogle also claims that the parents abuse and neglect caused their daughter’s alcohol and substance abuse, self-mutilation, and suicidal ideations. Fogle’s attorney, Ron Elberger, declined to comment. In June, Fogle lost a bid to have his prison sentence reduced. At that time, Elberger had argued that the sentencing judge abused her authority after prosecutors in a plea deal had agreed to seek no more than 12 1/2 years, or 150 months, following Fogle’s guilty plea. Fogle currently is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution Englewood in suburban Denver, Colorado. Do you think he has a good case?
