Apparently a British tabloid sparked a rumor that Mr. West would be recording a cover album of the recently deceased rocker’s most popular tunes. The idea of such a thing sent many into a faux-outrage frenzy via social media. People were so incensed that they started a petition that garnered 5,000 signatures (how the hell a petition would stop an album, we have NO idea). A source close to Kanye says there was never any talk of ever making Bowie cover LP. 51-Year-Old Television Director Pleads Guilty To Child Pornography Charges SMH. This is downright disgusting. A successful television director has plead guilty to promoting a sex performance by a child and possessing an obscene performance by a child according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore, NY Daily News reports. 51-year-old Jason Alexander pleaded guilty Tuesday after prosecutors revealed evidence they had procured digital files showing minors engaged in sex acts were found on computers at the director’s Dobbs Ferry, New York, home. Many media outlets initially confused Alexander, who goes by Jace, with the popular “Seinfeld” actor. Fortunately the mistake was quickly corrected. Jace Alexander has directed over a dozen episodes of “Law & Order” and has also worked on “The Blacklist” and “Rescue Me.” He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 3rd and faces up to seven years in prison. His mixtape … Man Pulled Over By Cops Gives Them His Mixtape A Florida man who was stopped by the cops raised eyebrows after authorities say he declined to give them his license—and passed them his mixtape instead. The Sun Sentinel reports: After being pulled over on suspicion of reckless driving in front of a Delray Beach high school, police officers asked for Volvique Louis Jean Jr.’s driver’s license. Instead, police said, he pulled out something else with his name on it — his homemade rap CD. Jean Jr., 18, was arrested on Wednesday by the Palm Beach County School District Police. Police said Jean Jr. pulled up to Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach just before 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 along with two other cars. They sped into the school’s bus loop, narrowly missing students being dismissed from school, police said. Officers in a golf cart followed the cars, pulled into the center of the road and forced the three cars to stop. When they walked up to Jean Jr.’s car, they asked him for his driver’s license. He pulled out his new CD. One of the other people in another car yelled out to the officer that they were just at the school to pick up a friend. According to the arrest report, the officers said they recognized some of the people in the cars — including Jean Jr. — as former students. The cars peeled out into the road and fled the scene, almost hitting more students as they left, according to the arrest report. Jean Jr. is charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and trespassing on school grounds.
