Ellen DeGeneres Adopts Puppy Named Kid During last week’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show , the iconic host announced the exciting news that she adopted a dog named Kid! What else were you thinking? According to Rumor Fix Ellen is very excited about the newwest addition to her family: “I have not talked about this yet, but we have a new puppy. Portia and I got a puppy and his name is Kid so now we have a kid,” she reveals. “Yep. I mean, he is absolutely adorable.” He’s 9 weeks old and cute as can be, but I’ll tell you what’s not cute is to wake up at 11, and 1, and 3 and 5. And then 5 is when he’s up, up,” she adds. “It really makes me appreciate what it’s like to be a mother,” she said. “Because like I’m trying to hold a puppy while I’m trying to make coffee. And I can’t do anything. He doesn’t let me do anything. ” And what’s with the name Kid?! Ellen explains, “I named him Kid because ya know people, there have been rumors forever, when are you and Portia gonna have a kid? So now I can say we have a Kid. The bus stop sat in front of a bar with white men who openly plotted to “kill and rape her” according to a witness.
