John Legend let loose his own frustrations and opinions on the matter via his Twitter last night, and while he was overwhelmingly met with agreement and support, as expected a few trolls climbed into the mix. One such “counterargument” came from an unverified news account, @IBNNNews. When they gave the unsolicited advice that John Legend should “just stick to music,” he quickly shut them down: John’s response tweet has since been deleted. Ciara Says She’s Happy Because Of Son And Career, In Spite Of Split From Future Ciara remains strong despite recent news that she called off her engagement with her son’s father Future. According to US Weekly reports : As Us Weekly exclusively revealed, Ciara has called it quits with Future — her fiance and father to her newborn son Future Zahir Wilburn — after learning of his infidelity. Before the news broke, the “I’m Out” singer spoke with Us on Tuesday, Aug. 12, about how her life has changed since welcoming her baby. “I’m in a much more clairvoyant place in my life,” Ciara, 28, told Us of motherhood. “So, I want to express that through my music.” The singer, who will appear on MTV’s House of Style for Degree Women, further mused. “I’m in an even more expressive place,” she said. “I think that when you become a mom… you don’t really worry about the small stuff. I’m just way more centered. It makes you focus even more on what your goals are in life. And I just feel a whole new spiritual energy that’s happening.” According to a source, Ciara was “devastated” after learning of her fiance’s betrayal. “He cheated on her,” the insider said. “Game Over.” Despite her recent trials, the R&B still counts her abundant blessings, especially as a proud mom to her 3-month-old baby. “My son has been the best thing that has happened in my life,” Ciara told Us of Future Zahir, born in May. “He has been amazing and he is truly heaven-sent. And so, I just feel all that love.” She added that parenthood has fueled her to be even more diligent about her career. “I want to be one of those moms and women that when I look back, I know that I always stayed focused,” she explained. “It’s about keeping your eyes on the prize. Before I had a child, I had goals. And I still have to accomplish those goals, but now that I have a child, I have more goals to accomplish. So I can’t waste time. I have to go for it.” She added, “It’s actually pushing me harder, and forward.” Indeed, Ciara has been hard at work in the studio with mega-producers like Dr. Luke and Mike Will (who’ve worked with the likes of Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and Wiz Khalifa). “Now my concept is do more… times three.” She elaborated, “I’m all about making the best music possible… We’re just having fun, letting the music live. Just letting it be.” She added with a laugh: “I am not an old lady! Moms can be fresh, fly and young, and that’s the kind of mom I want to be, and there definitely can be a ‘Body Party Part 2.’ And 3, and 4 and 5.” (“Body Party” was her standout 2013 track co-produced and co-written by her ex, who helped produce much of her self-titled fifth studio album last year.) The multi-tasking songstress her state of mind has helped her hone in on her dreams. “It’s a good challenge,” she said of being a working mom. “I think it’s all mental. I’m mentally committed to doing the things I need to. It becomes a part of who you are and you just have to commit to it. The hackers have really been delivering on their promise to expose the Ferguson PD … St. Louis County Dispatch Tapes From Day Of Mike Brown Killing Released A vigilante hacker group simply titled “Anonymous” has been working to unearth the truth Ferguson, MO officials are seeking to hide in the wake of the police shooting death of unarmed teen Mike Brown. Their latest discovery is St. Louis county Police and Emergency dispatch tapes from the day Brown was killed. They paint a tragic picture of how dismissive the authorities were about the shooting. Via their video description: We are Anonymous. These files compiled in this video contains audio of St. Louis police dispatch from the date of August 9th 2014, the day Mike Brown was murdered by a Ferguson PD officer. We have released these tapes to the public so as they are able to get a sense of the atmosphere the moments before and the hours after Mike Brown was shot. These raw audio files have been compiled and long quiet moments have been cut down. Time stamps are available within the video. Incident begins at around noon..(9:08 time stamp) ST. LOUIS COUNTY POLICE DISPATCH AUDIO TAPES, AUGUST 9TH 2014 11:05 AM – 6:05 PM, INCIDENT IS REPORTED AS “CROWD CONTROL PROBLEM” AT 12:05PM, NO SHOOTING MENTIONED UNTIL IT IS CALLED IN TO DISPATCH BY WITNESS. FERGUSON PD DENIES IT KNEW ANYTHING AT THAT TIME. NO EMS WAS CALLED. It’s pretty long (nearly two hours of audio) but at around the 11:26 time mark, you can hear the dispatcher being confused about an alleged shooting she is hearing about on the news that Ferguson PD is reporting no knowledge of.
