Claudia Jordan And Demetria McKinney Cast On “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Remember when Bravo introduced us to Mynique Smith and Natalie Macklin, wife of R&B singer Christopher Williams last year??? Well the producers are preparing to make a similar move on season 7 with Demetria McKinney and Claudia Jordan who’ll be “B Characters”; people tested out on the show for possible permanent positions. The Daily Mail reports: Bravo is trying out two new women for their Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise. The TV network has cast actress/singer Demetria McKinney and model/host Claudia Jordan as what they call ‘B characters,’ MailOnline has learned. Both women will shoot scenes with the principal cast members — NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams — and the network will wait to see how the audience responds to them before determining if they’ll make them full-time cast members. They don’t hail from Georgia and Claudia just moved to Atlanta from Los Angeles. Both are unmarried. Demetria is apparently well liked so much so that producers one day think she can NeNe’s top spot… McKinney, 32, is a single mom of a 12-year-old son and former star of Tyler Perry’s sitcom House of Payne. Born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, McKinney has been in a long-term relationship with former Tyler Perry Studios executive Roger Bobb. ‘Bravo is really high on her. She’s likeable, works well with the other ladies and is intriguing without contrived drama,’ a source close to the network tells MailOnline. ‘She has wealth, loves fashion and fine things, and is in a real relationship with a high-powered entertainment executive. Bravo thinks if NeNe leaves the show after this season she could be the perfect replacement.’ NeNe’s contract – worth a coll $1m -is up after this season and she’s not expected to renew. She has a development deal for a talk show with Debmar-Mercury and wants to focus on acting. And as for Claudia… Jordan, 41, is a former The Price is Right and Deal or No Deal model who recently moved to Atlanta to co-host the Rickey Smiley Morning Show syndicated radio program. She doesn’t have children and is not in a serious relationship. Most recently, the Providence, Rhode Island-bred host appeared on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice All Stars” where she had a very ugly spat with reality TV vixen Omarosa Manigault. ‘Claudia desperately wants to be on this show despite that fact that she doesn’t remotely fit the Housewives’ format, the source explained. ‘She came on the show as a friend of Kenya’s but hasn’t meshed that well with the others. We never heard anything about the disease being quite that selective… Christian Radio Host Compares Ebola To A “Cleansing Plague” The resurgence of the Ebola virus in recent months has put many on alert as we watch other countries struggle with what could, if unchecked, become a devastating global pandemic. However, one “Christian” radio host sees this prospect as a promising possibility to rid the United States of homosexuality, promiscuity, and other perversions he sees fit to be cleansed of — as if the disease would be so selective as to only target those HE has an issue with. Take a listen: Via The Libertarian Republic : Rick Wiles announced on his Christian talk show program that, “Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography, and abortion.” Wiles, host of the “Trunews” show seemed enthusiastic about the outbreak and the potential for it to kill the groups of people he despises. “It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming,” he said. Wiles is also on the record for claiming that President Obama may intentionally spread the disease so that he can have the power to declare martial law. He believes that this is the opportunity the president has been looking for in order to throw people into FEMA camps. “If Ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God,” Wiles ranted. “If not, you may be a candidate to meet the Grim Reaper.” SMH! Well since he thinks it would be just great if a pandemic broke out on US soil, we suggest he head on over to an affected area and contract a case himself. But — don’t be too shocked when this “sinful” nation doesn’t let you back in for treatment, though!

Man Arrested For Using Food Stamps To Buy Food For Restaurant This is pretty much what everyone fears when they speak about people taking advantage of government assistance . A North Carolina man used black-market food stamps to stock his restaurant for the low-low. Via NewYorkDailyNews : He had a lot of mouths to feed. The owner of a North Carolina restaurant is accused of illegally using other people’s food stamps to buy food for his establishment. Herbert (Dean) Carlton, owner of Dean’s Southern Bistro in North Wilkesboro, allegedly purchased the stamps from other people to stock up on bulk supplies for his restaurant, reported WXII12. The 54-year-old was charged Monday with 14 counts of illegal possession and use of food stamp cards and held on $5,000 bond. In a statement released by his bistro on Facebook Tuesday, the restaurant described the alleged misuse of government funds as a good gesture gone wrong. “It is unfortunate that a few bad decisions and some poor judgments, all in an effort to help assist persons that may have been in dire straights have now been construed as deceitful and purposefully criminal,” the restaurant stated, while denying reports that all of their food was “solely supported by this” — as was allegedly evident from the “amount of volume” over their last two and a half years of business. “We all stick behind Dean and love him unconditionally,” they stated to more than 170 Facebook “likes.” Carlton’s arrest follows an investigation into illegal food stamp use by the Wilkes County Department of Social Services. Oh, happy day, OH HAPPY DAAAAAAAY! Steve Ballmer Officially The Owner Of The Los Angeles Clippers Via ESPN The Los Angeles Clippers officially have a new owner. Steve Ballmer’s bid to purchase the team closed Tuesday after the entry of an order by a California court confirmed the authority of Shelly Sterling to sell the team on behalf of the Sterling Family Trust, the league announced. Ballmer, the former Microsoft CEO, bid $2 billion for the Clippers in May. The NBA Board of Governors interviewed Ballmer on July 15, then took a vote electronically last week to approve him, sources told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. Ballmer decided he would complete the sale as soon as the judges’ written order came in, at 11:30 a.m. ET Tuesday. Ballmer’s takeover of the Clippers follows weeks of legal tussling between Shelly and Donald Sterling, the 80-year-old billionaire whom the NBA banned earlier this year for making offensive remarks about blacks. Donald Sterling still is expected to appeal the sale, sources told Shelburne. Drafts of the Clippers’ sale bid book, given to bidders by Bank of America and obtained by ESPN.com, revealed that the $2 billion price paid would be 12.1 times the expected 2014 revenues of the team. The bid book noted that the highest previous sale was the record that Ballmer beat, the Milwaukee Bucks, who sold for $550 million this year and a then-record five times total revenue. Says Ballmer about the Clippers’ future: “I’ve got big dreams for the team,” he told the Times. “I’d love to win a championship. I’d love the Clippers to be the most dynamic, vibrant team and name in professional sports. “The only way any of this makes sense — my desire to spend time in Los Angeles, this team, its aspirations, this community, this purchase price, any of that — is to really live out the dream and make this kind of America’s team.” We just glad that this whole situation didn’t drag out into the next season. The Singles Project follows 6 Manhattan singles as they date around in NYC, however the show takes a new approach, allowing viewers to chime in and help the singles pick dates, drop pickup lines, and make suggestions as to how to flirt, what to say, etc. We caught up with Ericka Pittman — one of Diddy’s right hand women — and chatted with her about the highs and lows of dating in the city. Judging by the clip below, Ericka obviously needs a little help from viewers in the flirting department: As an attractive, educated, professional woman (Ericka is the Vice President of Business Development at Combs Wine and Spirits) you would think she’d have little trouble snagging a man. However as the self-proclaimed “Brooklyn Barbie” tells it, dating in New York is a crazy process and she’s willing to take all the helps she can get — even from strangers. BOSSIP: Why would you sign up to let strangers match you with dates? Why not? I’m just at a place in my life where I’m taking amazing calculated risks and doing outrageous things to have outrageous results, and I’m encouraging young women to do the same. If I’m preaching the gospel, I’ve got to live it! It’s an opportunity, it’s a fun summer. Why not? BOSSIP: Is finding a suitable man really that hard? I think dating is tough, and as you grow and mature, your selection process gets a little bit more filtered, and that makes it difficult to find someone that you’re compatible with. So that paired with how busy New York is — everyone with their own goals and agendas — I think it can be a challenge, and you need some assistance. A lot of us seek our friends, some people seek online dating, and The Singles Project is a revolutionary way to date in New York. BOSSIP: What kind of man are you into? I like man with a really strong moral compass. I want someone that is family oriented, that is ready to settle down. And then there’s the superficial stuff — he should just be tall, dark, and handsome. But I really do love someone with a lot of wit and a really handsome smile, and someone that can make me laugh. BOSSIP: Reality TV can get a little crazy…where do you think you fit into all this? I am actually forwarding a movement called “LifE: With a Capital E.” It’s an initiative to help young women identify the next phases in life and I want to show America that women — particularly women of color — should be displayed in a way that’s presentable. That’s my mission. I want to take The Singles Project and use it as an example to beacon and cheer women that are ladies. Nice!
