During the EPIC Battle of Winterfell “Game Of Thrones” fans waited on Bated breath to see if their favorite characters would survive a standoff with the Night King. It looked like all was lost; the wights had climbed the wall of Winterfell and were overwhelming Brienne of Tarth and Jamie Lannister who fought side by side, Jon looked like he was about to be burned to a fiery crisp by Viserion and the Night King was SECONDS away from slaughtering Bran—–and then NOONE appeared. Noone as in ARYA STARK appeared and a girl jumped to stab the Night King with a Valyrian steel dagger. You probably gasped when you saw her drop it—but she quickly snatched it with her other hand and plunged it into the Night King’s chest, stabbing him square in the heart and ending the battle. According to Maisie Williams who plays the epic character, she was worried fans would be disappointed to see that Jon Snow didn’t kill the Night King after following him for several seasons. She said her own boyfriend told her that Jon should be the one to do it. “It was so unbelievably exciting,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “But I immediately thought that everybody would hate it; that Arya doesn’t deserve it. The hardest thing is in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them. It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, ‘Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.’ You gotta make it cool. And then I told my boyfriend and he was like, ‘Mmm, should be Jon though really, shouldn’t it?’” Maisie says however she felt redeemed when Arya got that pep talk again from Melisandre about “eyes she’ll close forever.” “When we did the whole bit with Melisandre, I realized the whole scene with [the Red Woman] brings it back to everything I’ve been working for over these past 6 seasons — 4 if you think about it since [Arya] got to the House of Black and White,” Williams says. “It all comes down to this one very moment. It’s also unexpected and that’s what this show does. So then I was like, ‘F—k you Jon, I get it.’” A girl is the baddest. Kelly’s legal team is fighting a default judgment granted to one of his alleged victims because the R&B legend can’t really read. Earlier this week, Kelly lost a civil lawsuit in which he was accused of sexually abusing an underage girl in the late 1990s . The 52-year-old singer failed to respond to appear in court & respond to the lawsuit, which led a Cook County judge to issue a default judgment for the plaintiff. Zaid Abdallah and Raed Shalabi, are now claiming the singer’s “learning disability” prevented him from reading the court documents and taking proper action. “[Kelly] suffers from a learning disability that adversely affects his ability to read,” legal documents state, “… in essence he cannot.” A damages hearing for the case will take place on May 8. Kelly’s attorneys are asking that the default judgment be set aside so that they can fight the plaintiff’s claims.
Source: Simon McGill / Getty Family Of 11 Raises Over $138,000 After Their Mother Loses Battle With Cancer Fox 2 Detroit recently reported about the death of 44-year-old Rashida Lawson who had become sick and was taken to the hospital. There, doctors discovered that she had stage 4 breast cancer and just a week later she, unfortunately, passed away, leaving behind 11 kids ranging from ages 4 to 23 years old. The family created a GoFundMe account to raise money for their mother’s burial and funeral expenses and reached their goal of $100,000. However, after the world got wind of the family’s story, donations kept pouring in as many people became eager to help out and the GoFundMe campaign ballooned to $138,405 in donations for the family. Although the money will help out in some regards, the family admits that they still have some financial struggles and are trying to cope with the loss of their mother as they try to pick up the pieces where their mother left off. Source: JazzIRT / Getty Man Punches 4-Month Old Baby To Death After Discovering He Wasn’t The Father According to Fox 13 Memphis , Jose Agurcia-Avila was arrested by Memphis police and charged with first-degree murder after punching a 4-month old baby. Avila reportedly became upset after learning the child, Alexander Lizondro-Chacon, wasn’t his. Cops say Avila punched the child so hard that the baby was left unresponsive when the mother returned home. The child was rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis but was pronounced dead upon arrival. An autopsy revealed the baby died from blunt force trauma and his death was ruled a homicide. The medical examiner concluded that the boy’s injuries were a fractured skull, fractured rib and a serious case of pneumonia. The boy’s mother told police that Avila confessed. The 33-year-old is charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of aggravated child abuse and first-degree murder in perpetration of aggravated child neglect.

She can’t be President of The United States if she doesn’t pass the smell test with African-American women. During the She The People Forum in Houston on Wednesday, Warren spoke directly to the issues that she has her sights on that would directly improve the lives of Black women. Here’s what she said according to FoxNews : “And there is a specific problem, as you rightly identified, for women of color who are three, four times more likely to die in childbirth,” Warren said. “And here’s the thing, even after we do the adjustments for income, for education, this is true across the board. This is true for well-educated African American women, for wealthy African American women, and the best studies that I’m seeing put it down to just one thing, prejudice,” she added. “That doctors and nurses don’t hear African American women’s medical issues the same way that they hear the same things from white women.” That’s pretty direct. Warren’s plan to rectify this problem is to offer incentives to hospitals who manage to balance the infant mortality rate and remove certain funding if the rate begins to increase.
