In the movie-like visual she shows off her impressive pole-dance skills. Twigs, like the music, takes her time and builds into a wild scene. “When I wrote ‘Cellophane’ over a year ago, a visual narrative came to me immediately,” she explained on Instagram. “I knew I had to learn how to pole-dance to bring it to life, and so that’s what I did.” The latter may be an understatement, considering the level at which the 31-year-old multidisciplinary performer has mastered the genre. This time last year, Twigs revealed that she underwent laparoscopic surgery to have six fibroid tumors removed from her uterus. Some of the massive tumors were larger than fruit. We’re glad she’s doing great and looking even better. Check her out.
Source: Splash News / Splash News Director John Singleton In A Coma Less than a week after suffering a severe stroke , director John Singleton is reportedly in a coma. According to TMZ , the Singleton family is currently in the process of establishing a conservatorship for him. Legal documents show that John’s mom, Shelia Ward , is asking a judge to appoint her temporary conservator because he is “unable to properly provide for his personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.” She also wants to handle and execute the lucrative settlement agreement and the various business projects John was working on at the time of his stroke. As we reported, the legendary director checked himself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. last week after returning from Costa Rica and experiencing problems in his legs. At the time, family members categorized his stroke as mild, but turns out it was much more severe than they thought. Let’s keep John and his family in our prayers.

The Seahawks Quarterback/Ciara’s loving husband gifted the offensive linemen who protect him on the football field $12,000 each in Amazon stock. The news comes from TMZ Sports who pubbed a super sweet letter that the HIGHEST PAID NFL ATHLETE sent to his brethren. “Every Sunday we go to battle together,” Wilson wrote. “… You sacrifice your physical and mental well-being to protect me, which in turn allows me to provide and care for my family. … This does not go unnoticed and it is never forgotten.” “When I sat down to think of ways to honor your dedication a dozen different ideas came to mind,” he added “Some were flashy, some were cool, but I wanted to give you something that had a lasting impact. According to TMZ , Adam Glyn caught up with Lee Daniels on the streets of NYC and he revealed that he’s literally in the middle of a discussion about whether or not to permanently cut Jussie from the show. There appears to be a lot of waffling about if Empire can still afford to keep him public relations-wise and character-wise. To make matters even more tenuous, Fox has not greenlit season 6 yet.
Source: Boston Globe / Getty Elizabeth Warren Makes Presidential Proposal To Cancel Student Debt For 42 Million Americans Sen. Elizabeth Warren is laying out more of her cards in her Presidential run. According to CBS News , the Massachusetts senator is unveiling a student loan forgiveness proposal that she says will cancel up to $50,000 of debt for more than 42 million Americans. This new proposal would be added to her plan for free college tuition at two and four year public institutions. The initiatives would cost $1.25 trillion over a decade, according to her staff, and it would be covered by her “ultra-millionaire tax,” which would annually tag a 2 percent tax on wealth above $50 million and a 1 percent tax on wealth more than $1 billion. According to a Brandeis University study of Warren’s proposal cited by the campaign, more than 95 percent of Americans with student loans would be assisted by her plan. It would also eliminate all debt for more than 75 percent of Americans in general. Her proposal would cancel $50,000 in student loan debt for Americans with household income below $100,000 along with “substantial” debt cancelation for everyone with household income between $100,000 and $250,000. Households with incomes topping $250,000 wouldn’t received any loan forgiveness. A big goal of Warren’s plan is to reduce the wealth gap between people of color and White people. Her campaign also argues that the plan would boost the economy by increasing home-buying rates and sparking more business creation. Many students will already have less debt under Warren’s higher education proposals since she wants undergraduate tuition to be free at two-year and four-year public institutions. She also wants to boost federal grants to assist students with other college-related expenses like books, room and board. On top of all this, her proposal would invest an additional $100 billion over the next decade in Pell Grants. “Higher education opened a million doors for me,” Warren said. “It’s how the daughter of a janitor in a small town in Oklahoma got to become a teacher, a law school professor, a U.S. senator, and eventually, a candidate for president of the United States.” A road to debt-free education? According to reports, the firearm went off , sending pieces of glass and metal into his face and brain. FOXSanAntonio reports: The accident happened just after 11 p.m. Monday on Shasta Avenue near Pleasant Road on the South Side. Police said the 16-year-old was playing with a loaded 9mm gun and taking pictures when he shot the phone causing the glass and shrapnel to hit his eye and face. Police are still investigating , but the good news is the teen is in stable condition, although the shards penetrated his brain.
