In an interview the star point guard was asked how he’s spending his time while nursing an achilles injury, he mentioned that he was not only spending time with his infant son but also caring for his mother, Frances Pulley, who has been battling cancer. Wall is extremely close to his mother, so we know its tough. But prayers up and we’re wishing her a speedy recovery.
The Rewind Ep. 29 We’re back with another episode of “The Rewind!” The “Family Guy” Landon Levarius and “The Bully” DJ Franchise are giving you their unfiltered hot topic opinions. This time they’re debating M. Night Shyamalan’s “Glass.” The James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson thriller didn’t get the best reviews, but for some reason, DJ Franchise loved it. The “I gave this a solid 8, there’s a lot of things that I enjoyed about this movie,” said DJ Franchise. “Sarah Paulson who plays in “American Horror Story, she’s sick in this movie.” Landon, however, isn’t pleased and gives it a 5. They then move on to Killer Mike’s Netflix series “Trigger Warning.” The show follows Mike as he usees his revolutionary and sometimes controversial ideas to explore cultural taboos. It’s insightful and fun and Landon LOVES it. He gives it a 9. “Of course I love this series,” says Landon.”I thought it was moving the culture forward.” Franchise, however, gives it a 5 and points out that Mike isn’t staying true to his “black-owned” message by not wearing black made clothing brands. According to The Inquirer , Matthew Aimers was arrested in Bucks County for sexually assaulting an underage girl. The incident reportedly went down at Aimers’ wedding reception. According to the affidavit of probable cause for arrest, Aimers, 31, approached an underage waitress at the Northampton Valley Country Club. He told the girl the two of them could “do whatever you want.” The waitress told the police she rejected Aimers’ advances, saying the interaction left her shaken. Aimers didn’t stop with his pursuits though. According to the affidavit, he followed the waitress into the women’s bathroom and pulled her into a stall that was empty. It was here that he sexually assaulted her and exposed himself, according to the waitress. When the girl tried to escape Aimers, he continued “to proposition her” and at one point, he offered her $100, according to the affidavit. The waitress was eventually able to break free and leave the bathroom. Hours later, as the reception was coming to an end, the Northampton Township police were called to the country club to address reports of a fight. When the cops arrived, they encountered Aimers “pushing and punching people,” according to an affidavit filed in that case. A country club employee told officers that the groom had punched him after he tried to prevent him from bringing alcohol outside. With the cops arrival, Aimers attempted to board a shuttle bus parked near the country club, and he ignored the police’s commands to stop, said the affidavit. That’s when one of the cops boarded the bus with his taser drawn, and he ordered Aimers to leave. However, Aimers kept arguing with the officer, calling him derogatory names and at one point, he even tried to provoke him with a fight, read the affidavit. When Aimers finally left the bus, he was taken into custody after a short struggle with the cops. Aimers was booked on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. For his reported run-in with the teen waitress, Aimers was charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure, imprisonment of a minor, harassment, and related offenses. Aimers was released from custody on Wednesday after posting 10 percent of $350,000 bail, according to court records. He faces a preliminary hearing for the sexual assault charges on February 21. On Thursday, his attorney Louis Busico said that Aimers “absolutely denies all charges.”

According to reports, the legally blind 81-year old has been moved to general population and is now in a single cell without a cell mate. State corrections spokeswoman Amy Worden told CNN that Cosby is being “treated just the same as any other inmate. Worden added that inmates there can spend several hours a day in the gym library, class or day room and that Cosby has inmates assigned to help him at times, given his age and disability. The fallen legend has already spent about four months in special housing as he adjusted to the SCI-Phoenix prison in suburban Pennsylvania. Welp.

Jordan has officially grabbed the rights for a just-released fantasy novel titled, Black Leopard, Red Wolf. The novel has been described by celebrated author Marlon James as an “African Game of Thrones” and Jordan has secured the release via his recently launched Outlier Society production company. Jordan just signed a first-look development deal with Warner Bros. last month and Black Leopard, Red Wolf is the first project Outlier has launched since that deal was closed. The story follows a group of mercenaries as they track a kidnaped boy across a fantastical version of the African continent. This book is the first in a planned Dark Star Trilogy, which will follow the characters as they encounter giants, witches, beasts and, of course, other people whose motives might run counter to their own. No screenwriter has been been decided on for the project yet and there’s no intel on who will play the story’s lead. Marlon James, the author behind the Man Booker prize-winning A Brief History of Seven Killings , will be an executive producer on the film. It looks like Michael B. Jordan is starting to make his move from in front of the camera to behind it more and more each day.

In response to someone bringing up his name as a “great host” for next year’s ceremony, The Rock revealed that that exact plan was actually in the works for this year, but prior commitments ended up getting in the way; Turns out, the actor couldn’t take the gig because he would be too busy working on the sequel to Jumanji . “I was their first choice to host this year, and my goal was to make it the most fun and entertaining Oscars ever,” Johnson revealed. “We all tried hard, but couldn’t make it work since I’m shooting Jumanji .
