Wale ft. Jacquees “Black Bonnie,” Dreezy “Where Them $ @” & More | Daily Visuals 7.31.18

Looks like the Black Love that Papoose and Remy Ma got going is inspiring their rap peers and got them thinking about finding their ride or die mamis. For his visual to “Black Bonnie” Wale seems to be clear about the kind of woman he needs in his life as he dreams of someone who’d watch his back during the Black Panther movement to share a quiet dinner with him in an ’18 organic restaurant. Leave it to a rich rap star to find love at an organic restaurant while the rest of us cruise the lanes of these dollar stores shopping for lust. Keeping with the theme of ride or die’s, Dreezy and her homegirls get ready to set it off big Cleo style so she can make it rain in the strip club for her clip to “Where Them $ @.” Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Kap G, Nef The Pharaoh, and more. WALE FT. JACQUEES – “BLACK BONNIE” DREEZY – “WHERE THEM $ @” KAP G – “WANT MY M’S” NEF THE PHARAOH – “BIG BOSS CHANG” TAY-K FT. WTF? Student Parades Around L.A. School As KKK Imperial Wizard In Teacher-Approved History Project

Stock Image by Getty Student Dressed As Racist Ku Klux Klan Wizard Causes Upset A Los Angeles Unified School District student dressed as a member of the Ku Klux Klan for a school project, and students say they don’t understand why the teacher approved the decision. According to ABC7 , photos posted to social media show the unnamed kid dressed head to toe as a KKK member on Friday. Reportedly, the student wearing the garb is a freshman who chose to write about Hiram Wesley Evans, a former imperial wizard of the KKK, for his history project. That student decided to wear a costume representing the racist leader. Other students also dressed in costumes reflecting their chosen historical figure as well,  folks say this specific one was out of line. “He wore it like throughout the school, like in nutrition, lunch, things like that. I don’t think that’s appropriate,” said Lance Dantignac, a rising senior at the school. “It made me feel like unsafe and threatened,” said Eliza Dumag, another rising senior. And get this, the teacher said it was OK…because The Klan and The Black Panther Party are equal… “It kind of rattled me. It was hard to believe that she would allow a klansman to walk around from her approval. So, we asked her, and she said that, she compared the Klan to the Black Panther Party, which in my opinion are two different things,” said Trinity Young, a rising senior. “So yeah, it was troubling.” Meanwhile, LAUSD released a statement, saying in part: “L.A. Unified and Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy understand the extreme sensitivity around this issue and do not condone or support this type of re-enactment.” The district statement also included an apology to the LAUSD community. It said an investigation is now underway, and that the district and school both are committed to supporting diversity.

Black Conservative Has The Nerve To Compare Roseanne’s Racist Rant To ‘Black Panther’

Excerpt from:

R oseanne Barr  is still in a media firestorm after comparing Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape. If you were living under a rock, earlier this week she wrote that Jarrett equals “muslim brotherhood & planets of the apes had a baby.” Undoubtedly deplorable and impossible to defend. Even Republican Meghan McCain said Barr’s tweet was textbook racism — and McCain is always defending Trump supporters, she has even criticized NFL players for kneeling. However, McCain is in the minority because Fox News has been on a pro-Roseanne rant for days. Sunken place empress Harris Faulkner chalked it up to free speech. But the latest comment from a Black conservative has got to be one of the dumbest analogies on the planet. See Also: 20 Tweets Dragging Roseanne Barr To A White Privilege Hell Trump worshiper Oliver McGee , who once worked for the Clinton administration and is now a Black Republican, had the audacity to defend Roseanne comparing Jarrett to an ape and the “Muslim brotherhood” because Black Panther has a character called Man-Ape. Huh? See the ridiculousness below: There is a BLACK character in the movie #BlackPanther named ‘Man-Ape.’ Man-Ape is the leader of the Gorilla tribe. The gorilla tribe is played by all BLACKS. Every liberal that is calling for @therealroseanne ’s head LOVED & RAVED about Black Panther. Stop the selective outrage. — Oliver McGee PhD MBA (@OliverMcGee) May 30, 2018 There was no character in the movie called Man-Ape. M’Baku, played by Winston Duke, was the character of Man-Ape from the comic book series — a character that first appeared in the Marvel comic book series in 1969. As Entertainment Weekly reported, the creators of Black Panther , which was written and directed by a Black man, did not want to use the term Man-Ape from 1969. Why? Because they were smart enough to know it would be offensive today. Executive producer of Black Panther Nate Moore said, “We don’t call him Man-Ape. We do call him M’Baku. Having a Black character dress up as an ape, I think there’s a lot of racial implications that don’t sit well, if done wrong.” Therefore, McGee lied about a character being called Man-Ape in the film, that name was never uttered in the 134 minutes running time. But many Black Republicans, like Diamond and Silk and Paris Dennard , will say anything to defend Trump supporters. McGee also wants you to know that “as a Black man” he stands by Roseanne: I’m a black man and I stand with @therealroseanne ! Yes, she made a horrible joke and she apologized. I see comedians, actors, etc make the same jokes and get applauded for it. This is outrageous. — Oliver McGee PhD MBA (@OliverMcGee) May 29, 2018 Lastly, Roseanne’s comments aren’t about liberals or conservatives — it’s about racism. If a Black man like McGee, who once worked at Howard University  and regardless of his political affiliations, can’t see the clear and present racism, then his anti-Blackness is at the bottom of the sunken place. Wake up, bruh. SEE ALSO: Racist New York City Lawyer Aaron M. Hip Hop’s Helpers: Big Boi Is Taking Hospice Patients In His Celebrity Trailers To See ‘Black Panther’

Marcus Ingram/Getty Images Big Boi Is Helping Hospice Patients See Black Panther Big Boi says that he hopes to “bring a little light” to a group of Atlanta hospice patients by taking them to see Black Panther on Friday. The Atlanta legend has rented a theater at Stonecrest 16 in Lithonia and will transport about 30 patients at Loving Arms Hospice to watch the film. He said about his good deed, “I’ve had my father and both my grandmothers go through hospice and I’d want to take them to places they couldn’t go. This might be the last movie they get to see. It’s like a little field trip.” Of course, medical staff will accompany the group, who are set to travel to the theater in one of Big Boi’s Celebrity Trailers, his company that supplies luxury trailers to movie sets–he wants the Loving Arms patients to experience the ride in one of the “super plush” vehicles. Like most of us, Big Boi has already seen Black Panther, but he’s looking forward to watching it again. He expressed his love of the movie saying, “The movie is incredible. Just the different layers – the storytelling, the writing, and of course the action. I love seeing the High Museum in there. ATL is thriving, man.” Other celebrities who have bought out theaters in their community for Black Panther viewings include Kendrick Lamar’s label TDE, Desus & Mero, Serena Williams , Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, and more.
