Don’t Date Him Girl: One Of “The Bachelorette’s” Swirly Suitors Sent Tweet Comparing NAACP To KKK

Historic 13th Season Of “The Bachelorette” Marred By Contestant’s Offensive Tweets The historic season of “The Bachelorette” is definitely off to a messy start. 31-year-old Nashville singer/songwriter Lee Garrett, one of the many men competing for the chance to win the affections of attorney banger Rachel Lindsay had his old tweets exposed by EA Sports video game producer Erika Esola-Imburgio, who questioned why ABC’s vetting process didn’t weed out England for his offensive comments. The tweets from 2015 and 2016 take aim at feminists, gays, Hillary Clinton, Islam, and Black Lives Matters… Gotta love how @BacheloretteABC casts Lee…wonder how @TheRachLindsay feels about it? #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/RX6lkGpgyB — Erika (@emesola) May 31, 2017 Considering contestants of the show have to be run through background checks, Esola-Imburgio questioned if Garrett was planted to be a isht-starter for ratings… In the meantime, Garrett’s accounts (he refers to himself as “pleasantly offensive” in his bios) have been turned to private since the offensive tweets were exposed. Embed from Getty Images So far no word from ABC or “The Bachelorette” production studio Warner Horizon Television on the controversy. Do you think this is something the network missed when picking contestants or do you think they planted Garrett? Also, have you been watching this show or nah? WENN/TWitter

Ooh-Ooh-Ooh Uh-Oh: Rich Homie Quan Could Face 30 Years In The Clink Over Mary Jane Possession

Rich Homie Quan Hit With Felony Drug Charges Rich Homie Quan is in a bad situation after getting arrested over the weekend, facing charges that could get him put away for a VERY long time. TMZ reports that the Atlanta rapper got booked on charges of felony possession with intent to distribute when cops caught him and five friends with drugs and guns over the weekend. It’s not clear how much weed Quan had on him, but that’s actually neither here nor there in Georgia, where the amount of contraband you have on you doesn’t determine whether or not you’re charged with a felony. For all any of us know, it may have been a small enough amount that it was meant for personal use. Either way, guns were also retrieved, but officers didn’t place that charge on Rich Homie Quan . His bail was set at $20,000. However, if he faces trial and gets a conviction, he could face a maximum of 30 years in prison for the drug charge. SMH! Honestly, you’d think he learned his lesson on the weed front after all the backlash from him smoking a blunt with his baby on his lap a few years back. Best of luck to him on this is really all we can say.

Race Matters: Peep The Differences In How White And Black People Talk About “White Privilege” [VIDEO]

Does This Video About White Privilege Surprise You? White Privilege is finally becoming something that many white people are aware of and conscious about — at least in this video, filmed by conservative filmmaker Ami Horowitz BUT we think the tactics used here are pretty skewed. For example, interviewing white people outside of a white privilege conference will obviously yield much different results than interviewing a wider range of white folks — especially in less of an academic setting. We’re also perturbed by Horowitz’s decision to question blacks in Harlem outside of a housing project. Why not try an HBCU instead? The other thing that stood out to us is that the white people were asked a different set of questions than the black interviewees. Why would black people be consumed with white privilege? Just sayin’… What are your thoughts about the interview? Getty Images
