The “Nonstop” rapper says he was just trying to get his gamble on, but Parq Vancouver Casino had different plans. “Parq Casino @parqvancouverbc is the worst run business I have ever witnessed … profiling me and not allowing me to gamble when I had everything they originally asked me for,” wrote the Boy on his IG story. Yahoo News , via CBC News, reports that the casino is “investigating” Drake’s allegations. Under new regulations, B.C. casinos need a “source of funds declaration” when depositing more than $10K to deter money laundering. Sounds like either Drake didn’t have his paperwork in order, or the casino couldn’t believe a Black guy had that much disposable dough. S tacey Abrams clearly has Republicans shook. She is running for governor of Georgia on a campaign to expand Medicaid, enact sensible gun laws, protect public schools from privatization and much more. Her opponent, Brian Kemp — Georgia’s secretary of state who oversees elections — wants to make healthcare less accessible, repress the right to vote and give people even more access to guns, including the AR-15 automatic weapon used in the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre. In addition, Kemp has been accused countless times of voter suppression and even former President Jimmy Carter called on Kemp to resign as secretary of state . But now, because Abrams was slightly ahead in the polls, Trump was directing his nonstop lies at her. In addition, according to her campaign page , “Stacey became the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and the first African American to lead in the House of Representatives.” Abrams is not only qualified to be Governor, she is also even more qualified to be president than our current divider in chief. For the second time in her career, the media mogul endorsed a politician running for office. Her first was Former President Obama and now her second is Stacey Abrams , the Black Democratic candidate running to be Georgia’s next Governor. If Abrams win she will be the first Black woman to do so in American history . The creator of the OWN network, who is also a registered Independent, told a crowd today (Nov 1) at a Cobb County town hall, that she believes in Abrams and believes that she is the future of the state of Georgia. “I am here today because Stacey Abrams cares about the things that matter,” Winfrey told a cheering crowd , citing Abrams’ stance on environmental protection, healthcare and gun control. Last week, an NBC News/Marist poll found that the race is tied, with likely voters favoring Kemp by a 49 percent to 47 percent spread, a number within the poll’s margin of error. However, Abrams has some other serious backup coming in soon too. Former President Obama will be stumping for her on Friday. H istory was repeating itself with the release of President Donald Trump ’s new dog-whistling political ad days before the crucial Midterm elections. It was reminiscent of the Republicans’ infamous Willie Horton spot that exploited white fear of Black men ahead of the 1988 presidential election. See Also: Republicans Are Using Every Racist Stereotype Imaginable For The Midterm Elections Most of the nation learned about Horton from a 53-second ad intended to send white voters flocking to the polls to vote for then-Vice President George H.W. Bush in theoretical exchange for protection from the alleged hoards of Black criminals. Horton was a convicted murderer who raped a white woman while out of prison under a weekend furlough program. With the debut of his new ad, the president was clearly taking a page from that racist playbook. He tweeted a video on Wednesday that blamed Democrats for allowing an undocumented Mexican immigrant for killing two California deputies and warns that liberals would allow hoards of Hispanic migrants into the country. The video showed deputies removing Luis Bracamontes from a courtroom in February because of his outbursts about killing more cops, during his sentencing. “Illegal immigrant, Luis Bracamontes , killed our people!” reads the opening text of the ad. “Democrats let him stay.” It is outrageous what the Democrats are doing to our Country. They are tied together by their blatant use of racism to exploit white fear of Black and brown people. Trump blamed the Democrats for Bracamontes’ crime, and the Horton ad pinned the blame to Bush’s Democratic opponent, former Massachusetts Gov. Michael Dukakis . Both ads also tell big lies. Massachusetts was not the only state with a furlough program. More than 40 states had similar programs, the Washington Post pointed out in 1988 article. The federal government also had a furlough program in the 1980s. Then-governor Michael Dukakis had supported the prison furlough program, and when he ran for President in 1988, his opponent, George H. W. Bush, used that to his advantage. The fact is that Trump has deported fewer undocumented immigrants than President Barack Obama did. The difference is that the Obama administration focused on deporting violent criminals and those who posed a national security threat , while Trump has seemed more interested in sending a message by breaking up families regardless of whether a violent crime was committed. Bella Thorne is only 21, but at times, it seems that her career, such as it is, may have already peaked. Nominally, Bella is an actress, model, singer, etc., but like so many of her peers, Thorne’s most lucrative revenue stream is social media, particularly Instagram, where she’s amassed an astonishing 18.4 million followers. And like Kylie Jenner before her, Bella knows what makes the internet tick. We’re talking, of course, about nudity. It’s up there with funny cat videos and political outrage on the list of things people just can’t help but click. Unfortunately, it’s also a game of diminishing returns. The internet quickly loses interest in naked bodies it’s seen before and moves on to new nudity. Some young stars realize this and change tactics (hence Miley Cyrus’ rebranding as a sober, fully-clothed hippie), while others double-down and offer up more flesh than ever, which seems to be Bella’s strategy. Both the pic and the video above appeared on Bella’s Instagram page on Wednesday, and the captions have left fans confused, to say the least. “So excited for the big release behind this shoot btw I’m wearing underneath nude bra and bathing suit bottoms for comfortability and it helps the whipped cream stay attached ;)” Bella wrote We appreciate the old-school emoticon, and we’re sure the Instagram admins appreciate the clarification that she’s not actually naked. Adding to the confusion is the fact that she’s posing in front of a neon sign that reads, “electric p-ssy.” Is she launching her own line of vibrators? Is she actually a sex robot from the future? Look, everything’s legal here, and a 10-year age difference isn’t that weird in most circumstances, but if you’re 31 and you have a whole lot in common with people who are barely old enough to buy alcohol, it might be time to reexamine your choices. Mackenzie Standifer offered a couple of treats for her social media followers on Halloween. First, the long-time reality star provided fans with their very first glimpse of Jagger, the baby to whom she gave birth in October . It was a fleeting glimpse, mind you. Some might even take issue with this being labeled a glimpse at all. But… hey, there is a baby in the photo below, alright?!? Standifer simply included a black heart emoji as a caption to this image of Jagger and his 10-year old brother, Bentley, both of whom were out and about on Halloween night. Mackenzie has often used this same unusual graphic across her Instagram, prompting some to believe it’s meant as jab at Edwards, who continues to get into trouble with the law. But Standifer insists the emoji has nothing to do with her often-jailed husband. “So here’s the deal about my use of [the black heart],” she wrote two weeks ago online. “There’s nothing behind it except for the fact that it’s different from your everyday [red heart]. Sorry to disappoint. Lol. There’s no hidden or cryptic messages behind it… “It’s just a heart shaped emoji that happens to be black instead of red.” Oh. Okay then. Standifer made a return to Teen Mom OG this past Monday evening in order to discuss Bentley possibly going to private school with his grandparents. She and Ryan had previously quit the MTV franchise , with Mackenzie claiming the network didn’t want to be associated with a recovering drug addict such as Edwards. Mackenzie, never one to mince words, then shared a photo of Teen Mom cameras being set up around her home, writing in the caption that the scene being shot was “Faaakkkkkeeeeeeeeeee” and strongly implying that everything one sees on the show is fake. Sorry, “Faaakkkkkeeeeeeeeeee.” But Ryan’s run-ins with the law have been very real. Because he was arrested (AGAIN) for drug possession earlier this year, Edwards actually missed Jagger’s birth. According to various sources, he has never met his second son. There’s been talk (below) of Standifer leaving Edwards at last and taking their son with her, but she seemed to shoot down such chatter in an Instagram response last night. “Where is Ryan? As a fellow addict I wish him the best. Is he in treatment still?” a follower asked Standifer in reply to her Halloween picture, to which she directly responded: He is doing SO good. Proud of him. We think this is the first time Mackenzie has even acknowledged that Edwards is in treatment. Perhaps that’s progress, considering Standifer spent the better part of the last year insisting that Edwards was clean and sober following his 2017 weeks-long rehab stint. Despite the many times Edwards has faced drug charges , Mackenzie has continued to deny that her husband has a substance abuse problem. But he does. No one can say any differently now.
