It’s the day we all knew was coming sooner or later, and it’s time to bid a fond farewell (for now at least) to True Blood with the release of the seventh and final season on DVD & Blu-ray! We’ve also got two new releases and two remastered classics for your spewing pleasure! True Blood Season 7 finally brought the greatest show about oversexed vampires to a close, and we can’t wait to relive our favorite moments from Anna Paquin ‘s final two nude scenes, to Karolina Wydra ‘s fantastic sex scene on the hood of a car, as well as the nude debuts of both Gabriella Wright & Ashley Barron ! That ought to get your Bon Temps rising! The 2013 horror flick The Damned finally comes to DVD & Blu-ray today, and it gives us yet another chance to ogle the orbs of the lovely Carolina Guerra , the Incan Princess on this past season of Da Vinci’s Demons ! The whimsical love story Mood Indigo from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry also hits DVD & Blu-ray today! This one is available in two different cuts, so if you have the theatrical version, the see-through car topless scene with Laura Cieplik & Joana Morais happens at the 24-minute mark, whereas in the extended version, it doesn’t occur until the 33-minute mark! Drum , the 1976 sequel to Mandingo makes its Blu-ray high def debut today, and this Blaxploitation/Salvesploitation classic features the fantastic fun bags of 70s legends like Pam Grier , Cheryl “Rainbeaux” Smith , Fiona Lewis , Isela Vega , and Brenda Sykes ! Just be sure not to bang your drum too slowly! Finally it’s the 1969 Burt Reynolds Western Sam Whiskey , which is also being released for the first time on Blu-ray today! This one’s got the Big Bad Mama herself Angie Dickinson baring her right breast during a sex scene with Reynolds!

True Blood Season 7 Episode 7 Recap: The Return of Bookie!!!

So, let us get this straight… On True Blood Season 7 Episode 7 , Sookie called in a doctor to examine Bill. She got scared of Sookie’s bloodline… which prompted Sookie to call in her fairy godfather… who ate some spaghetti… who promised to help Sookie… who then told her he could NOT help her… which inspired Sookie to jump back into bed with Bill. While many viewers may be celebrating the naked reunion of Bookie, a great many others may be sharing in our consternation over just how boring and filler-filled True Blood Season 7 has become. Does a single person out there care about Bill’s pointless flashbacks? Is there any doubt the writers are using these each week because they literally just need time to fill? What about Adilyn and Wade, two characters we didn’t know at all last season? They seem nice and all, but is anyone sitting on the edge of his or her seat any time the story shifts to their (non-kinky) lovemaking and threats from Violet? Heck, what about Arlene? We all love Carrie Preston in this role, but she’s been a side character for years and now she’s practically receiving more screen time than Eric. There are simply no stories left to tell, that much is obvious. The show keeps spinning its wheel each Sunday night, with barely anything happening and with absolutely no final season-like drama taking place. That random Sarah Newlin hallucination lasted for multiple minutes! What is going on here?!? To recap the actual events, snark-free: Sookie had sex with Bill, wanting to take advantage of every last second together. Eric agreed to help the Asian bad guys hunt down Sarah and synthesize her blood, in exchange for 49% of their company and a role as their spokesman. Andy and Holly broke down as they continued to pursue their kids. Violet gave Wade and Adilyn a sex room to use and then attacked them. Hoyt returned with his hot girlfriend and identified his mother’s body. Jason seemed very into this hot girlfriend. Sam contemplated leaving Bon Temps with Nicole. Arlene slow-danced with vampire Keith because she’s infected and can’t have sex with him. Lafayette and Lettie Mae started digging up Tara’s childhood home’s backyard. What did everyone else think of this truly horrid True Blood episode?

There’s a reckoning a comin. So teases the song behind the latest promo for True Blood Season 7 , which premieres on HBO on June 22 and which will center around a civil war in Bon Temps. In the following footage, Sookie screams that infected vampires are “coming for every human” in town, while also getting in some sexy time with Alcide… much to Bill’s chagrin. Tara and Jessica bare their fans, Andy acts very angry and viewers are left to wonder: Where is Eric?!? True Blood Season 7: First Promo!

We know what waiting sucks, True Blood fans. But at least you now know when it will be over. HBO announced today that  True Blood Season 7 will premiere on Sunday, June 22. It will be comprised of 10 episodes… the final 10 episodes in series history. Along those lines, the network has also released the very first Season 7 teaser. It takes viewers through a number of dead character graves, pausing at the end for the headstone of True Blood itself: True Blood Season 7 Promo Here is what we know so far about True Blood Season 7: it will depict many bare breasts. It will also feature more of Ginger, as actress Tara Buck has been promoted to series regular; and it will welcome Riley Smith as a vampire who takes an interest in Arlene. Alexander Skarsgård has a message for anyone complaining about single digit temperatures as a result of the Polar Vortex : Puh-lease. The actor, who got naked on the True Blood Season 6 finale, has stripped down once again for fans. This time, he’s donning nothing but his birthday suit while sitting on a toilet in the South Pole. Yes, you read that correctly. The shot was shared on Instagram by Inge Solheim, who acted as Skarsgård’s team’s guide on the Walking With the Wounded Challenge. It included the caption: “#southpole -30C What are you reading Alex? The script for season 7 of #truebloodHBO?” You can watch True Blood online to relive the star’s nude turn on the aforementioned finale, which really wasn’t a big deal for Skarsgård. “My dad and his side of the family are old hippies. I was 14 the first time I saw my dad wearing pants,” he said on Conan in June 2013. “He was always naked.” Let’s hope that’s true for Alex as well on True Blood Season 7 . It kicks off some time this summer.

Anna Benson: Implicated in 1996 Murder?

Reality star Anna Benson is in jail in Marietta, Ga., for allegedly breaking into her estranged husband’s home and threatening him with a gun . It turns out this is not the ex-stripper’s first run-in with the law. In 1996, Anna Benson (then Anna Warren) lived in a rundown Tennessee apartment that was adorned with satanic graffiti and anti-police messages. At 19, Anna was reportedly the subject of a sweeping manhunt after an 18-year-old man named Michael Evans was murdered in that apartment. The newspaper reports that the troubled youngster fled town when she and then boyfriend Paul Dejongh were charged with the murder of Evans. She was captured five months later and charges against her were eventually dropped, the New York Daily News reports, citing court records. “She got away with murder ,” Evans’ father, Michael Evans Sr., said. The same year her charges were dropped, Anna reportedly met MLB pitcher Kris Benson at the strip club she worked at, and the two wed in 1999. Things worked out pretty well for a time, but in 2012, Kris filed for divorce and the two have been struggling through their messy split ever since. Their arguing reached a boiling point last week when Anna was arrested on after she allegedly modeled a bulletproof vest and burst into Kris’ home. According to a police, Anna smashed his computer with a metal baton and wore an ammo belt, which police later found when they searched her. They also found that she had a knife with her. Kris claims Anna made it known she had a gun and demanded he pay her $30,000. He appeased her by claiming he was going to get the money. At that point he escaped and called police. Kris currently has custody of the couple’s three children, and, according to reports, he also helped her raise her daughter from a previous marriage.

True Blood: Renewed for Season 7!

Sharpen those fans, HBO viewers: you’ll be taking another bite out of True Blood in the summer of 2014. The cable network today announced that it has renewed its long-running hit for another 10 episodes, with Programming President Michael Lombard saying in a statement: “True Blood remains a signature show for HBO, and a true phenomenon with our viewers. Thanks to Brian Buckner and his talented team, the show continues to be a thrill ride like nothing else on TV.”
