Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Woman With Rights To “Blue Ivy” Trademark Want’s $10 Million The Carter’s have been trying to obtain the rights to the “Blue Ivy” name since 2012 after the birth of their daughter, but have been unsuccessful due to wedding photographer Victoria Morales and her company already owning the name. Beyoncé’s representation allegedly reached out, but the request was denied and Morales responded and reportedly tried to sell her company to Bey in a multimillion -dollar deal. This is where things may have gone sour as Morales took a shot at an “opportunity for a business relationship rather than an adversarial proceeding.” The wedding planner allegedly put together a Power Point presentation stating why the Carter’s should buy her wedding planning business, in addition to the Blue Ivy trademark.She propositioned them with the idea that they could “begin producing products and goods” together, in a deal allegedly offered for $10 million. Beyonce wasn’t having any of that and her legal team is now demanding the presentation be handed over to the courts as evidence that Morales’ trademark opposition is purely a “money-making scheme”.

Just a few weeks ago, the adult film world was stunned by the death of August Ames , who took her own life at the age of 23. Now, another young starlet has been found dead, sending a second round of shockwaves through an already-reeling industry. According to Radar Online, the body of 20-year-old Olivia Nova was discovered in Las Vegas over the weekend. The actress and model’s cause of death remains unknown. Nova (real name Jennifer Severin) was a Minnesota native who entered the adult film industry in March of 2017. “She was a great person,” a friend tells Radar. “We’re missing her. Everyone is in shock.” “We’re trying to piece this together.” Though no official cause of death has been reported, those who knew Nova best say she struggled with depression and mental illness. Sources believe these plagued her throughout her short life, and signs were evident recently. She tweeted on Christmas Day: “Alone on the holidays and want to give a fan a holiday call. Would lift my spirits.” It is widely believed that Nova entered a depressive period over the holidays, which tend to bring out strong emotions. Loved ones suspect that like Ames, the actress took her own life. (Again, this has not been confirmed as of this report). Ames’ death became particularly high profile due to the media’s interest in the possibility that her suicide was the result of cyber-bullying. She and Nova are sadly not the only adult film stars to pass away at shockingly young ages in recent months, however. Actresses Yurizan Beltran and Shyla Stylez both died recently, at the ages of 31 and 35, respectively. Substance abuse played a role in both of those deaths. LA Direct Models, the agency that represented Nova during her brief career, issued a statement earlier today. The message read: “While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality.” “It is understood next of kin have been informed.” “Another one, way too young we are beyond shocked and most certainly, completely out of the blue.” “Rest in peace, sweet angel.” We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available. Juli Briskman recently went viral after she was spotted by a photog flipping off the presidential motorcade while she was on a morning bike ride. Now according to The Washington Post , Juli’s without a job—but the defiant 50-year-old doesn’t regret it it. “I’d do it again,” she told the paper. “On Halloween, after Briskman gave her bosses at Akima LLC, a government contracting firm, a heads-up that she was the unidentified cyclist in the photo, they took her into a room and fired her, she said, escorting her out of the building with a box of her things. “I wasn’t even at work when I did that,” Briskman said. “But they told me I violated the code of conduct policy.” Her bosses at Akima, who have not returned emails and calls requesting comment, showed her the blue-highlighted section 4.3 of their social media policy when they canned her. “Here’s what was going through my head that day: ‘Really? You’re golfing again?’ ” Briskman said. The company she worked for failed to discipline or fire a senior exec who made anti-black lives matter comments. The Voice may be bringing a bit of the same after 13 seasons on the air, but Jennifer Hudson is a welcome addition to the panel. She oozes positivity, and that’s something required when coaching many hopefuls through the various stages of the process. It was Blind Auditions Night Two, and we had some very solid performances to run down. Who made it through to the next round? Let’s run down the performances below … Keisha Renee “I Can’t Stop Loving You” Keisha’s song choice was on point. At this stage, it’s important to show off your vocal range, and Keisha definitely accomplished that goal. She was confident and knew exactly what she needed to do to get to where she wanted in her career. Blake Shelton was big on her and quickly snapped her up for his team. Maharasyi – “Tell Me Something Good” While Keisha chose the perfect song, the same could not be said for Maharasyi. You would think with her already having a recording career, she would know which song to sing to show off her singing voice. Luckily for her, Jennifer saw the potential and turned her chair around, but we can’t help but think it was a mistake. Dylan Gerard – “Say You Won’t Let Go” Dylan did not sound great, but Jennifer helped him out and told him to change some things. This helped him sound way better, and Adam noticed this. So, Adam got another one to join him! Red Marlow – “Swingin'” Red had a great country voice, and he had the perfect song to go along with it. We could definitely imagine him as a recording artist, and the coaches thought so. Ultimately, he joined Team Blake. Ashland Craft – “You Are My Sunshine” Ashland was the best singer of the night. It was perhaps one of the best auditions ever, and that was partly down to her confidence about the whole thing. The coaches took notice, and she ultimately joined Team Miley.
