Toni Braxton has been admitted to the hospital. Toni — who has been battling several illnesses over the past few years — had a scare and checked herself into the hospital. Our friends over at hiphollywood.com , are reporting that Toni was missing at an intimate dinner in LA with the ladies from “Braxton Family Values.” The family told them that Toni had a set back with her fight against Lupus and had admitted herself to the hospital. Towanda tells us, “everyone knows she had lupus, she had a minor scare and she just went to the hospital to run tests and make sure she was ok…” We hope Toni gets better soon. In a clip filmed back in October, she and two friends act silly, seemingly mocking Riri in what can only be described as a bad Bajan accent. During the premiere, we were introduced to the Situation’s best friend, “The Unit,” who managed to stir up some drama between Sitch, Snooki and her boyfriend, Jionni. We also witnessed the first (and certainly not the last) hookup of the season, between Pauly D and Snooki’s friend Ryder. Over the past few seasons, the cast of “Jersey Shore” have become sort of experts on the art of wooing the opposite sex, so when MTV News caught up with them recently, we had to ask them to lend us their valuable expertise on hooking up. Of course, they couldn’t share all the tricks of the trade, but they did agree to tell us what not to do when. “You should never text-message during hooking up,” Pauly D said. “Put your phone away.” The Situation added, “You should never call another name.
