If you’re moral compass is that Abortion is killing a life, and the foundation of that is based on your belief in God, more than it is in your belief in killing potential babies is bad…even if the kind of women getting knocked up often times are the kind of women who shouldn’t be having kids….then you must embrace that IVF or anything that involves making a baby in a lab, as to your specifications, like Josephine Skriver’s dad did with her…is the sign of all evil…. So when you see couples with IVF babies, God didn’t want that, science did…so don’t go celebrate the miracle of technology allowing people who can’t breed naturally, buying their pregnancy, because you can’t embrace tech as God’s gift in one instance, and condemn it in another. Jen Harley and Ronnie Magro Enjoy Rare Violence-Free Date Night

Just over three months ago, Jen Harley allegedly threw a glass ashtray at the face of Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and hit him near the eye. Fast forward to this past Saturday night and Harley aimed something else in the direction of her frequent lover’s rugged mug: Her lips. As you can see above, Harley and Ronnie cozied up to each other during an evening out in Las Vegas. The mother of the couple’s one-year old daughter, Ariana, shared some memories from the night on her Instagram Story, leaving little doubt about her and Ronnie’s status with photos such as the one you see here. Yes, they are back together. No, we are not confident this relationship will last. Hopefully, we can only think, local authorities have been made aware of the reconciliation. We don’t mean to be flippant here, but Jen and Ronnie have quite the cantankeous history. They have quite the violent history, to be honest, which includes the ashtray-hurling cited above during an intense argument on New Year’s Eve in late 2018. Just a few months before this incident, Harley was arrested for domestic violence after she dragged Ronnie down the street by her car. That’s not a metaphor or an exaggeration: Harley literally closed her door on Ronnie while he was trying to escape her vehicle and sped away, dragging him across the concrete several hundred feet. There was also that time Ronnie referred to Harley as a cum dumpster and she called him a deadbeat dead. This was mere weeks after the arrival of Ariana. But time heals all wounds, we suppose, both literal and figurative. A week before this date night, Ronnie and Jen posted photos of themselves hanging out a birthday party for children, causing us to wonder they were just being amicable co-parents or hardcore lovers once again. This outing was followed days later by a staged wedding. Indeed, the reality stars snapped pictures of themselves at Sin City’s world-famous drive-thru Tunnel of Love at the Little White Chapel as an April Fool’s Day joke. However, although the nuptials were just for show, the pair exchanged a passionate kiss at one point during their prank, sparking the same speculation you see here: that, maybe, they are back together. For the sake of little Ariana, of course, we hope this works out. We hope we’re wrong in judging the pair and that they really have overcome their issues. It just seems unlikely/ To Ronnie’s credit, though, he recently completed a stint in rehab and talks like a changed man . In honor of his child celebrating a milestone birthday, he wrote the following on Instagram last week: “A year ago today, I was given the best gift I could ever have. I’ve been blessed to have been through more experiences than I could ever dreamed of. “I’ve been blessed to have so many different gifts & blessing in my life. You think you have lived life when you have been through the things I’ve got to experience & go through. “All of those things don’t even compare to the feeling I get when I laid eyes on her. She makes everything have a purpose & gives me a indescribable feeling. The esteemed guests included Atlanta mayor Keisha Bottoms, as well as 21 Savage’s manager Kei Henderson, tech entrepreneur Paul Judge, QC head honcho Kevin “Coach K” Lee, and rapper/activist/businessman Killer Mike. In addition, the crowd was also treated to performances by local talent like Beyoncé’s shining stars Chole x Halle, Gunna, and 2 Chainz. Mayor Bottoms spoke to a loud and proud crowd about the possibilities that exist in Atlanta that perhaps don’t exist elsewhere. Coach K took the mic and preached a Peachtree sermon about how influential Atlanta is to the rest of the world and ways to further bolster the city’s profile. 2 Chainz took a moment to honor Nipsey Hussle before he went on with his set. Then he gave the people what they came to see. We were beyond impressed with the thought and care that AT&T took in making sure that Atlanta was presented in a positive and uplifting light. ‘Twas a great night with stellar activations, photo booths, and interactive exhibits that rep the 404.

The daytime show is known for its unapologetic co-hosts whose opinions range from liberal to conservative on various issues. Naturally, with such varying views, things can get a little spicy. However, the tension reached flaming hot temperatures on Monday when the women discussed Kirstjen Nielsen leaving her position as Homeland Security Secretary. Nielsen will be replaced by the current Customs and Border Protection commissioner Kevin McAleenan in an interim position. The moves McAleenan make could shape the U.S.’ southwest border patrol. Currently, Trump thinks there’s a crisis at the border with illegal immigration, prompting outrageous moves such as family seperations and the demand for a billion dollar wall . The women of The View discussed this, but unfortunately things got a little uncivil when Joy was making a point about helping Central American countries instead of demonizing their residents trying to enter the U.S. Behar was trying to finish her point in the most coolest, calmness way possible when Ms. McCain interrupted her. Behar then replied, “I listened to you, let me just finish.” Again… IN THE MOST COOLEST, CALMEST WAY. But McCain all of a sudden had a chip on her shoulder and replied, “Part of your job is to listen to me.” WITH THE ADDED HAIR FLIP. The audience was in shock. It was only by the grace of Whoopi Goldberg that the tense moment didn’t go any further. “So here’s the deal, here’s what’s not going to happen today,” Goldberg told the table. “We’re not gonna do this. Everybody gets a conversation piece, everybody gets to say their piece, and we don’t need to comment if we don’t like what we’re hearing. First Black Student To Attend Elon University Awarded With Honorary Degree

A Black woman who broke racial barriers at Elon University was honored by the North Carolina-based institution on Thursday. Glenda Phillips Hightower —the first Black student to be accepted into the school—received an honorary doctorate degree, the Times-News reported. The trail-blazer that led to integration at Elon will receive an Honorary Doctorate during Spring Convocation. Glenda Phillips Hightower entered Elon in the Fall of 1963 beginning a strong rich legacy of black students at Elon. https://t.co/OoZWm99HhH — Elon Black Alumni Network (@ElonBlackAlumni) March 15, 2019 Hightower enrolled 56 years ago during the Jim Crow era. J. Earl Danieley —who served as the university’s president at the time—gave her a full scholarship. Although Hightower was a full-time student she wasn’t allowed to dorm on campus due to her race. While trying to pursue her degree she often faced discrimination from students and faculty. Hightower persevered because she knew that her journey at the school was something bigger than herself and that her presence on campus mattered. She was leading the way for generations of Black students coming behind her and she truly valued education. During her sophomore year, she had to withdraw from the school due to health-related issues. She ended up relocating to Washington, D.C. and took courses at Howard University, George Washington University and Georgetown. A few years later she moved to Iowa and earned a nursing and general science degree from the University of Iowa in 1974. Although she didn’t complete her degree at Elon, the school wanted to honor Hightower for her commitment to changing the racial landscape and opening up doors for other Black students. “Throughout her life, Glenda Phillips Hightower has persevered and chosen the path of love and sacrifice over bitterness,” L’Tanya Richmond , who serves as the school’s Director of Minority Affairs, said in a statement. “In the process, she has changed Elon and paved the way for thousands of Black students, faculty and staff to follow in her footsteps.” Hightower was humbled by the honor. ″‘Thank you’ is woefully inadequate to express to you my gratitude, my humility, my honor and my great satisfaction at being included in a celebration of education and grandness. I didn’t recognize it as leadership at the time, but I certainly am glad that it’s interpreted as leadership.” Universities across the country are honoring former Black graduates who trailblazed paths for students of color. In 2018, Brown University announced that it would rename one of its buildings after the first Black students to graduate from the institution.
