From Kris Jenner’s perspective, the Kardashians are in crisis. Ratings for their signature reality show have been declining for years, and it these days, it seems the attention that her daughters receive from the media is overwhelmingly negative. Okay, that’s been the case for a while, but it’s recently reached the point where it seems the ladies of the Kard clan can do no right. Over the past year, even stories that captured national attention — such as Kylie becoming the world’s youngest billionaire  — eventually became burdensome, as the definition of “self-made” was hotly debated on social media. The situation is dire, no doubt about — and it seems Kris is convinced that there’s only one man who can fix this mess. If you caught KUWTK this week, you may have noticed that the show has made several changes for its 16th season. In addition to the sleeker production design, Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, now participates in confessional segments . And that’s not the only way that Yeezy is taking a more active role in the show that helped make his wife a household name. Insiders say Kris has fully handed the reins over to Kanye, who’s essentially serving as an uncredited executive producer this season. Not surprisingly, it seems all this new power has gone to Kanye’s head, and he now wants to exercise control over everything from the tone and style of the show to the physical appearance of his sisters-in-law. Equally unsurprising is the fact that the current state of affairs is beginning to rub some folks the wrong way. “Kanye wants to give Khloe a total makeover,” a source close to the situation tells Life & Style . “He’s been talking about it for months,” the insider adds. “Now that she’s single and getting back to her old self he thinks the timing is perfect.”  Yes, ‘Ye thinks he’s just the man for the job of helping Khloe bounce back from her ugly breakup with Tristan Thompson . Never mind the fact that she seems to be bouncing back perfectly fine on her own, without any assistance from her batsh-t brother-in-law. Unfortunately, it seems Kim agrees with her husband’s assessment of the situation. “Kim is all for it and of course, Kris thinks Kanye is a genius,” the source says.  “He wants her to have that same fashion Cinderella moment [as Kim].”  In yet another sad twist to this story it seems Khloe is on the verge of caving after years of peer pressure: “Khloe has heard this kind of thing from Kim and Kanye for years, so it’s not new to her,” the informant claims. And apparently, Kanye’s not planning to stop with an overhaul of the show and Khloe’s wardrobe: “Kanye sees himself as like a creative director for the entire family and the Kardashian brand,” the source reveals. “He’s taken it upon himself to become more involved with the show, with their wardrobe choices, with everything.”  Sounds like a nightmare!
