Tamar Braxton Demands Edits To New Season Of Braxton Family Values Sources tell TMZ that Tamar supposedly believes that her mother and sisters are deliberately painting an unfair picture of her husband as a bad guy on the show, in an effort to destroy his public image. Of course, Tamar herself accused Vince of having an affair behind her back and an entire side baby — publicly, on social media — before suddenly taking it all back a few months later. But we digress… Either way, Tamar thinks that while cameras were catching her and Vince’s actual divorce process …her family was busy drumming up false storylines on the side to turn Vince into a villain. Columbus Short Released From Jail 11 Months Early Columbus Short is a free man this week, after completing just a twelfth of his jail sentence. If you’ll recall, Columbus pled no contest to charges that he hit his newlywed fourth wife, Aida Abramyan, during an argument. The actor was sentenced to 36 months probation and domestic violence education. However, since he was already on probation for a 2014 violent encounter in a bar, resulting in him knocking a man out, so he was instead sentenced to a year in jail for violating his probation. Well, according to TMZ , Columbus can thank jail overcrowding for his freedom. He was reportedly released on Monday from the L.A. County Jail, after serving only 34 days of his sentence. We guess it’s just as well, since his wife denies that anything violent ever happened between them. The media needs to check their facts!!…Columbus and I have a great marriage. Period. By creating the conditions for our youngest change-makers to flourish, this education model can be a pathway to building healthy and sustainable communities across the U.S. In the school’s first year, Google.org provided $750,000 to help launch its unique vision. And last Friday at Google’s San Francisco community space , teachers, students, artists, education advocates, Googlers and Oakland-native actress Zendaya celebrated the announcement of our additional $650,000 grant to help the school build a first-of-its-kind computer science (CS) curriculum , which will serve as a model for other schools across the U.S. The curriculum will be culturally and community relevant, building on Duncan-Andrade’s philosophy that education shouldn’t push students out of communities, but should instead help students transform them. Research shows that Black and Latino students are interested in learning CS , but are underrepresented in the field due to limited access to learning opportunities, coupled with the lack of relatable role models. Sweet baby Chicago West is just over 2 months old. Though the world has gotten glimpses of this adorable, “royal” offspring, we’ve only gotten glimpses of her. Until now. Kim Kardashian has shared the first full photo of this adorable little princess. Take a look! Back in January, Kim and Kanye welcomed their baby girl , who was born via gestational carrier. Though she was born on January 15th, it took days before the public even learned her name. Kim Kardashian is famous for slowly rolling out new information about her children. It’s part of striking a balance between her child’s privacy and realistic expectations of her fans. Also, always leaving fans wanting more can’t be hurting her brand. Baby sister Kylie has been following that model with adorable little Stormi. And there’s a decent chance that Khloe will do the same. Kim is a reality star who built her brand on social media. The only thing that’s “different” with Chicago versus with Saint and North is that Kim isn’t having to recover from pregnancy and childbirth. And that’s the crux of why people think that she doesn’t love Chicago the same way that she loves her other kids. Some people have embraced absurd stigma against gestational carriers (and surrogates), and think that a mother who really loved her children would birth them herself. That’s not only awful, it’s dangerous. Kim loves her children and herself enough to want to be alive to be their mother. Giving birth herself would have put her life at risk. Some criticisms of her parenting, however, may be a little less absurd. Recently, Kim shared a topless photo that was taken by North herself. There were those who question whether it’s appropriate to let your child take thirst trap photos … least of all pictures in which their own mother is topless. This may come down to cultural differences between families, however. For some families, it’s normal for a father to spend time around the house shirtless, while others would be shocked to see that. In some families, parents and children kiss each other on the mouth. Others would basically rather die. Then, of course, came Kim’s statement that her husband deserves as much attention as her children. Since any parent’s first obligation is to their children, that line could be interpreted as Kim prioritizing Kanye over her kids . But … maybe she was just offering marital advice. We can’t imagine Kim neglecting her children. Kim clearly cares about her children. Reportedly, she doesn’t want anyone else to tell Chicago about her surrogacy — because she wants to be the one to explain to her little girl how she was born and why. That sounds fair. Back in 2015, a photograph of Ben Affleck sporting a huge back tattoo made its way around the interwebs, and a good laugh was had by all. Being the kind of guy who pretends he doesn’t care what anyone thinks but who actually lives for public adulation, Ben claimed the tattoo was fake. He insisted the garish phoenix rising from the ashes was airbrushed on for a movie he was directing and starring in called Live By Night . “[It’s] fake for a movie,” Affleck very explicitly stated in a 2016 interview. “I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.” Since no one actually saw the film, no one pieced together that Ben’s Prohibition-era gangster never actually disrobes to reveal a giant, brightly-colored, anachronistic tattoo. Rumors about the big ugly ink persisted, but Ben made headlines for so much other bad behavior that fans never launched a full-blown investigation. Remarkably, Ben has kept his torso pretty well covered over the past two and a half years, but that might have more to do with his booze-bellied dad bod and less to do with hiding the big bird. (Feel free to use that as a euphemism for sex, btw.) Sadly, Beantown Benny slipped over the weekend when he removed his shirt for a beach scene in a movie he’s filming. Hopefully, Ben’s character is the type of guy who collects samurai swords and lost his virginity to a prostitute at 29, because this tatt is not the sort of thing that can be edited out in post-production. Indeed, while the latter two ex-Sex and the City stars continue to bicker over their fake friendship , Nixon has set her sights on something a bit more pressing. The actress announced on Monday afternoon that she is running for Governor of New York. “I love New York, and today I’m announcing my candidacy for governor. Join us,” Nixon Tweeted alongside a two-minute video just a short while ago, adding via voiceover in this video: “New York is my home, I’ve never lived anywhere else. “When I grew up here, it was just my mom and me in a one-bedroom, fifth floor walk-up. “New York is where I was raised and where I’m raising my kids. I’m a proud public school graduate and a prouder public school parent.” Sounds like she has one item on her platform (education) already checked off. Sex and the City, of course, was filmed in The Big Apple. One television critic after another analyzed how the location itself was as much of a character on the HBO smash hit as Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte themselves. Continues Nixon in her campaign footage: “I was given chances I just don’t see for most of New York’s kids today. “Our leaders are letting us down. We are now the most unequal state in the entire country, with both incredible wealth and extreme poverty. Half the kids in our upstate cities live below the poverty line. “How did we let this happen? I love New York. I’ve never wanted to live anywhere else, but something has to change.” Nixon will be challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo in a Democratic primary this fall If she wins the overall election, she’ll be the first openly gay woman to hold this position. Her entrance in the race guarantees that Cuomo (who has over $30 million his campaign account and who polls list as being far ahead) will face an intra-party challenge from his fairly far left. “We are sick of politicians who care more about headlines and power than they do about us,” Nixon says in her video. “It can’t just be business as usual anymore.” The Democratic primary will be held on September 13 and Nixon has already received encouragement from Rosie O’Donnell. “CYNTHIA NIXON FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK!” Tweeted the comedian after Nixon made her announcement, adding: “#myFULLsupport – she is one of kind – brilliant – brave bold and so smart – a true leader #Nixon4NY.” Concluded Nixon, running down more issues on which she feels strongly: We want our government to work again, on health care, ending mass incarceration, fixing our broken subway. Lifetime is coming out with Meghan & Harry: A Royal Romance . That's right, folks. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's romance, portrayed on screen for your viewing consumption. They've released a short teaser trailer (which you can see below) and, despite its brevity, there is so much in it. And it looks surprisingly steamy . Our first big takeaway from the trailer is that the actress whom they selected to portray Meghan Markle has a surprising likeness to her. Parisa Fitz-Henley is a stunningly beautiful actress, and she could almost be MegMar's sister. The real Meghan seems to be plagued with opportunistic siblings who are more interested in making trouble for her by speaking to the media than they are in celebrating her happiness. While Murray Fraser, the actor portraying Prince Harry, is a handsome ginger man, he doesn't seem to almost trick viewers at certain angles in the same way that Fitz-Henley does. Looking at her in this trailer, you might swear that she's the real deal. (Part of that, admittedly, is the wig) Our second big takeaway from this trailer is that … it looks like it's very much a Lifetime film. Not to be mean, but a lot of what we see in the trailer looks less like the setting of a royal romance and more like … what people would like to imagine is the most romantic. So … the sorts of dates that you'd see on The Bachelor . That's a product of a few factors. One, this royal couple has always been fairly private about their romance. As private as you can be when the whole world is watching, anyway. A lot of their real-life dates have taken place behind closed doors. Producers had to make do with guesswork. Two, they're trying to tell a romantic story and cash in on fans of the real thing as well as on hate-watchers or those who will tune in ironically. Three, this is a Lifetime movie, and they're not going to break the bank on this, folks. Before you ask, no, Murray Fraser is not the actor who impersonated Prince Harry on I Can Marry “Harry” … which continues to be one of the most controversial reality shows of all time. That actor was Matthew Hicks, who had previously worked as a Prince Harry impersonator, which is one of the most niche jobs that one can possibly imagine. Murray Fraser is a real actor — in fact, he and Parisa had such a good time on the set of Meghan & Harry: A Royal Romance that they've been posting on social media about wanting to work on another project together. Not all actors who play love interests get along so well. In fact, a lot of actors find it awkward to interact with those with whom they've filmed bedroom scenes. We never thought that we'd say this, but Lifetime is really pushing the envelope, here. Bedroom scenes — including, as you'll see in the teaser, naked bedroom scenes — aren't unheard of, obviously. But portraying a royal couple in the nude and in bed together is going to ruffle some feathers. Not only is the British Royal Family an important symbol for the United Kingdom (well, at least, for the British), but they're treated reverently in certain ways beyond how one might treat a politician or mascot. Remember, there are still monarchists in this world (really) who believe that the European royal lines were divinely ordained. Not everyone is going to take kindly to seeing a royal couple portrayed like this: That said, some people don't like the real couple. Remember, Meghan Markle was targeted by a racist hate crime . A website linked to the terrorist group Daesh claims to have Meghan Markle's nudes and sexts and has threatened to release more unless the UK withdraws its troops from the Middle East. Which … is not going to happen for a lot of reasons. Mostly because Parliament does not actually set policy based upon the electronic activity of a future duchess. Who knew? (It's also not going to happen because the claims that they have video of her pleasuring herself with a pig's foot sounds … super fake, for various reasons) This May, you can tune in to Lifetime to watch someone's fanfiction of MegMar living out the dreams of a lot of girls who grew up in the '90s. Also this may, you can actually watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry get married . That's on the 19th.
