Belcalis is currently covering Rolling Stone and showing the world what it looks like when you’re having the best year ever. Inside the mag is a detailed look into her tour life as told by writer Brittany Spanos who spent time with Bardi before one of her shows. There’s talk about Cardi getting a MEAN yeast infection from her hotel’s highly acidic soap… “My ***y was burnin’ like a Mexican taco!” says Cardi. some classic Cardi chatter about her not getting any from Offset on her birthday…(Damn that period!) “I was sad, because it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I’m not getting no dick on my birthday,’” says Cardi, whose bedazzled acrylic nails are decorated with tiny reproductions of Offset paparazzi shots. “But I wasn’t going to get d*** on my birthday anyway, because I got my period.” and her decision to drop out of college and strip full time. “A lot of people wonder, ‘Why would anybody want to be a dancer?’” she says. “Because there’s money!” She used some of her stripping cash to briefly return to school. “I kept missing classes,” she says, “and quit because I felt like I was already failing. It was such a disappointment.” The interesting interview also includes a section on Cardi holding back on social media after a few instances like her previously referring to Kim Jong Un as “Won Tung Soup.” “I used to tell myself that I will always be myself,” she says. But she worries that she’s going back on that vow. “Little by little, I’m feeling like I’m getting trapped and muted.” Not everyone’s as happy for Cardi as we are.
