Brazil Photo Press / Splash News Someone we actually like… Cardi B Covers “Rolling Stone” Cardi B is still on a winning streak. Belcalis is currently covering Rolling Stone and showing the world what it looks like when you’re having the best year ever. Inside the mag is a detailed look into her tour life as told by writer Brittany Spanos who spent time with Bardi before one of her shows. There’s talk about Cardi getting a MEAN yeast infection from her hotel’s highly acidic soap… “My ***y was burnin’ like a Mexican taco!” says Cardi. some classic Cardi chatter about her not getting any from Offset on her birthday…(Damn that period!) “I was sad, because it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I’m not getting no dick on my birthday,’” says Cardi, whose bedazzled acrylic nails are decorated with tiny reproductions of Offset paparazzi shots. “But I wasn’t going to get d*** on my birthday anyway, because I got my period.” and her decision to drop out of college and strip full time. “A lot of people wonder, ‘Why would anybody want to be a dancer?’” she says. “Because there’s money!” She used some of her stripping cash to briefly return to school. “I kept missing classes,” she says, “and quit because I felt like I was already failing. It was such a disappointment.” The interesting interview also includes a section on Cardi holding back on social media after a few instances like her previously referring to Kim Jong Un as “Won Tung Soup.” “I used to tell myself that I will always be myself,” she says. But she worries that she’s going back on that vow. “Little by little, I’m feeling like I’m getting trapped and muted.” Not everyone’s as happy for Cardi as we are. Rolling Stone’s Instagram comments section is being flooded by people who wish they’d put the late Fats Domino on the cover instead. What do YOU think about Cardi B’s Rolling Stone cover??? Lil Yachty Surprised A Music Journalism Class at Georgia State University

View post:

Source: Brazil Photo Press/CON / Getty Atlanta native Lil Yachty took a visit to the Georgia State University campus with his father today, where the two surprised students in their music journalism class. Yachty joined the course for the day, where he reportedly delivered some words of advice and answered questions from students in the class. His father Shannon planned out the visit, and wrote about making it happen as a huge surprise for the school on Instagram: “The professor at #gsu had been hitting my inbox and whenever he saw me out he would say it would be so awesome if you and @lilyachty could speak with my students. The time finally presented itself. Miles was off tour and to be honest he needed to relax but he was open to speaking. It meant a lot to the students cuz no one knew. My only request is that he not tell the students. I wanted to sneak in and out. Well we snuck in but by the time we left it was a mob outside the school. Lol they asked him a lot of questions on do’s & Dont’s when it comes to interviewing celebrities. He preached do you!! Really believe in your goals and dreams…I for the first time got to sit back and watch my son be a mature funny smart well spoken young man. Awesome honor for me as a Dad. I was low key beaming on the inside.” Yachty was a happy camper, too, and says he enjoyed the entire experience and is definitely open to stopping by to more schools. I enjoyed doing this! I'm tryna hit more schools! https://t.co/gnc6WJUmom — king of the youth (@lilyachty) October 10, 2017
