If you watch New Girl online you know that the show’s writers cooked up some far-fetched nonsense in order to replace Zooey Deschanel with Megan Fox while Zooey was on maternity leave. Sadly, it looks like the effort left them too exhausted to come up with any funny jokes or compelling storylines, but don’t worry – it seems there is something exciting happening on the show’s set: According to Star magazine, the newly-single Megan Fox has hit it off with former New Girl cast member Damon Wayans, Jr., who recently shot guest a spot on Brooklyn 99 on the same lot. “They had an immediate connection,” a source tells the tabloid. “He started bringing her breakfast in the morning, and they would hang out in her trailer. I think they really bonded over being single parents. It’s only a matter of time before they started hooking up…that is, if they haven’t already.” Fox, of course, got divorced from Brian Austin Green last year and has been proudly single ever since. Interestingly, Fox and Green met on the set of a sitcom back in 2004. Fox also reportedly hooked up with Shia LaBeouf on the set of Transformers in 2007, so she’s clearly not above mixing business with pleasure. So it looks like while the producers of New Girl may be letting fans down, they certainly did a solid for Damon by giving Megan a spot on the show. View Slideshow: 27 Tantalizing Photos of Megan Fox

Black Diner Asked Prepay For His Meal At Oregon Restaurant A black man, Brian Eason, has filed a $100,000 lawsuit against an Oregon restaurant for discriminatory practices according to OregonLive . Eason claims he was asked by his waitress to prepay for his breakfast at Elmer’s each time he placed an order while white diners were not. “I was kind of curious about it and said ‘Well, is that new?’ And she said ‘Yes, we had a few walk-aways and my boss asked me to ask for prepayment,” Eason told The Oregonian/OregonLive on Wednesday. Eason didn’t think anything of it, he said, until he later ordered another drink and the waitress again wanted prepayment. “I said ‘This is kind of odd that I have to prepay every time I order my food and drink,’” Eason recounted. “She said, ‘I think it’s discrimination and my boss is here, and she’s forcing me to have me do this.’” Eason finished his meal and left the restaurant, but returned shortly after to ask white folks if they had been asked to do the same. Of course, they were not. Eason said that after he spoke to the white customers about whether they had to prepay, he still wasn’t sure if he was going to do anything about it. But he couldn’t sleep that night and his family encouraged him to take action, he said. “My office is right down the street there,” Eason said. “It’s a constant reminder of ‘They don’t want me in there.’” The suit seeks $100,000 in damages because Eason has “suffered loss of sleep and feelings of racial stigmatization.” Get your money, brotha! F*** Elmer’s! Image via Instagram

Dee-1’s “Don’t Be Scared” Interview Fresh off an interview with Slim Jesus , David, Danni and Janne chatted with New Orleans rapper Dee-1 about his celibacy, his Lil Wayne mixtape getting banned and his battle with depression. On his vow of celibacy till marriage: I’m living the pure life right now. Ain’t no sex, ain’t no self pleasure. I’m so open and transparent at this point in my life. I haven’t always been this way but at this point […] Ultimately I’m a very god fearing man, I don’t think if I try to do it the right way and honor God by not having sex before marriage I don’t think he’ll allow it to be bad. On his “Separated At Birth”mixtape being stalled by Young Money: I just went through some craziness with the whole YMCMB thing. I was gonna do a mixtape called “Separated At Birth” based on me and Lil Wayne; it got banned. The night before my mixtape was gonna come out my record label called me from New York frantically like; ‘You can’t put the mixtape out!’ They were like ‘Nah there’s potential that lawsuits might fall upon us, your physical safety might be at risk.’ All I was doing was taking Lil Wayne concepts and flipping them and doing a 180 on them to make them more conscious alternatives to his subject matter. Some of the songs are very direct though, one song in particular called “Call Your Bluff” might seem like I’m calling Lil Wayne out and I kind of was. On depression: “I realized that me doing it on my own and trying to talk to friends, that train has kind of run its course. It’s time for me to talk to people who do this for a living. A lot of this revolved around this time last year, I was out here for the BET Hip-Hop Awards and I just remember you’re supposed to smile on the red carpet, smile for interviews, I was on the cypher last year—meanwhile I”m just hurt on the inside. That’s an interesting dynamic to have to live through, it’s tough.
