Rapper Takes Plea Deal In Girlfriend Beat Down Ex-reality TV star Yung Berg admitted his guilt in attacking then-gal pal Masika Taylor under a plea deal that will keep him out of jail. The rapper pled guilty Friday to one count of harassment in Manhattan Criminal Court for his assault on Taylor in their New York City hotel room last year. Judge Steven Statsinger sentenced Berg to complete a batterer’s intervention program. Prosecutors said Berg punched, choked and dragged Taylor across the room after they argued about his credit card being declined. Producers from Love & Hip Hop fired Berg days after his arrest.
