Daniel Radcliffe on Gay Sex: OUCH!

Daniel Radcliffe portrays Allen Ginsberg in the new film Kill Your Darlings . And, as part of this role, the beloved Harry Potter star falls in love Dane DeHaan’s Lucien Carr, the beat poet’s real-life boyfriend back in the day. What is Radcliffe’s take on homosexual love versus heterosexual love? “I don’t think there’s any difference between how one falls in love,” he tells the new issue of Flaunt . “People express love differently, person to person, but it’s not gender or sexuality related. The only difference it made was obviously the actual sex scene, of course.” Ah, yes, the sex scene. Radcliffe engages in one in the movie after Ginsberg is rejected by Carr. The character loses his virginity in it. “I was talked through it by the director [John Krokidas],” Radcliffe says. “He would be telling me what I would be feeling in each take. Basically, gay sex, especially for the first time, is really f-cking painful.” Off screen, the star is reportedly dating Erin Darke . But on screen “[Krokidas] said that he had never seen that portrayed accurately before,” Radcliffe said of gay sex. “He wanted it to look like an authentic loss of virginity.” Kill Your Darlings hits theaters on October 18. Are you now more or less intrigued about seeing it?

Maria Kang on "Fit Mom" Photo: I Aim to Inspire!

“Fit Mom” Maria Kang is speaking out in defense of her “What’s Your Excuse” photo that caused such a stir online, claiming she was just trying to inspire. The 32-year-old mother of three revealed that she never intended to bully or shame others with her fitness photo shoot, but rather share a love of exercise. Yet after posting this photo to her Facebook page, Maria became the target of online critics who called her a “bully” who was calling out other women: Fit Mom Responds to Critics Maria Kang was shocked when her Facebook page blew up with commenters calling her “selfish,” a “fat shamer” and worse after the ad went viral. “I did not know I was going to ruffle this many feathers,” Maria said. “I knew that not everyone was going to like the photo but I wanted to inspire others.” “Obviously these three little boys are symbols of time. I’m able to keep them a priority. Of course it’s not always my first priority but it’s one of my priorities.” “Whether I work out at 5 a.m. or 5 p.m. or 10 p.m.,” the fitness enthusiast says, “it’s always some part of my daily goal to take part of my health.” Thousands of women did speak out to support Maria (and praise her physique), while taking inspiration from Kang, despite the vocal opposition. After issuing a non-apology, her second explanation is a bit less defensive, albeit just as adamant that she meant no harm and was being positive. Maria explained that continues to share her photo and story online because she wants to help other moms who struggle to find the time or energy. She also says she’s been doing this long before the infamous photo. “I have always been open, I’ve had a blog since 2007,” she said. “I’m vulnerable and very transparent I don’t feel like I want to hide anything, to me it’s important to be real with yourself, and be real with others.” That’s “because maybe,” she said, “you are inspiring others.” Fit Mom: Maria Kang Interview What do you think of the photo? Is she shaming anyone?   Yes, and she knows it. Yes, even if it wasn’t her intent. No. People need to chill out and stop hating!! View Poll »

Taylor Swift: Rejected by Zayn Malik?

Taylor Swift says she is single, happy and relaxed these days. But that wasn’t always the case, according to the new issue of Life & Style. An unnamed insider claims the singer had her eye on Zayn Malik awhile back and made her dating desires very well known. But “when Zayn found out she was interested, he turned her down,” the tabloid alleges. So, how did Swift respond? She “swooped in on” Harry Styles and settled for her second favorite One Direction singer instead. But that relationship quickly fizzled out and Taylor hasn’t dated anyone famous since. This all went down more than a year ago, of course, so it’s unclear why we’re first hearing about it now. Probably because it’s totally false and made up. Taylor, meanwhile, found herself at the center of a different kind of dating rumor last month. Based on comments made by the artist, some believe that she was calling out the fact that Justin Bieber cheated on Selena Gomez .

Maria Kang Accused of "Fit-Shaming" Women With Facebook Pic, Issues Non-Apology

Maria Kang, a very fit mom of three, is accused of “fit-shaming” women in a Facebook photo she shared, and now refuses to apologize for. The 32-year-old fitness enthusiast and former beauty queen shared this image of herself in a workout bra and short shorts, flaunting her toned body: Alongside her? Kang’s three sons , ages 3 years, 2 years, and 8 months, with the caption: “What’s Your Excuse?” Just motivating others, right? Depends who you ask. The picture sparked a comment war, with many of 12,000 (!) responses accusing her of fat-shaming, a charge Kang denies. After she responded with what she calls a “non-apology,” the debate escalated. How did she address some of the criticism she received? Read on … “I’m sorry you took an image and resonated with it in such a negative way,” she wrote. “I won’t go into details that I struggled with my genetics, had an eating disorder, work full time owning two businesses, have no nanny, am not naturally skinny and do not work as a personal trainer.” “What I WILL say is this. What you interpret is not MY fault. It’s yours. The first step in owning your life, your body and your destiny is to OWN the thoughts that come out of your own head.” “I didn’t create them. You created them. So if you want to continue ‘hating’ this image, get used to hating many other things for the rest of your life.” Fit Mom: Maria Kang Interview Kang’s point is that mom who don’t work out are lazy and fat, but that you can and should make fitness a part of your life even when you’re a busy mom. If you saw that photo of her and felt bad about yourself, too bad. One can understand, up to a point, why someone who doesn’t look like Maria would react in an intense, even negative way to the image she posted. Perspectives are skewed by own unique challenges, and enhanced by our own insecurities. Maybe some felt she was bragging or showing off, too. It doesn’t mean she was “shaming” anyone else here, however. Nor was she going on other people’s Facebook pages and writing hateful comments. Perhaps Kang’s approach was the issue, not her intent. What if she wrote “What’s your motivation?” Instead of “What’s your excuse?” Or been more sympathetic and less defensive in her reply? Would it be different?
