Anderson Cooper Mocks Bristol Palin "Meltdown," Encourages DWTS All-Star to "Get a Real Job"

On last night’s Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars , Bristol Palin stormed out on partner Mark Ballas during rehearsal because he doesn’t want to be her partner. Anderson Cooper is calling BS … and calling it brilliant TV. Anderson Cooper on Bristol Palin “Anyone on a reality show knows that to get attention, you have to have a have a wardrobe malfunction, throw up, have a breakdown, have a storyline,” he said. “Bristol Palin is a genius because last night she developed a storyline that made her very sympathetic,” AC added, airing a clip from DWTS on his talk show. Anderson later suggested that the Alaska-bred Bristol reexamine her life. “I am thinking of starting a job fair for people … who just need to get jobs, [like] Lindsay Lohan, Bristol Palin . I think they just need to get jobs, stop being on TV!” he mused. Bristol Palin – Dancing With the Stars Week 3 Bristol’s mother, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, supported her oldest daughter at Monday’s taping, then went on Facebook to praise her and slam the haters . The Dancing With the Stars results show airs in a matter of hours. Look for Bristol to survive the double elimination despite her last-place score, then look for the haters to lose their minds, and Sarah Palin to go back on Facebook. Wash, rinse, repeat …

Bristol Palin at Center of White Powder-Based Death Threat

Bristol Palin may say a lot of controversial things – see comments, gay marriage – but it looks like the Dancing with the Stars contestant was disturbingly spot-on this week. She really is the target of death threats . TMZ confirms that a package with white powder was sent to CBS studios yesterday, along with a message that read: This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [Dancing with the Stars]. Seriously, people can be messed up. The powder was determined to be harmless, but law enforcement officials are investigating the situation and treating it like a legitimate threat. In 2010, Palin was at the center of a similar incident.

Dancing With the Stars Results: Bye Bye Bristol?

Was Bristol Palin’s second stint on Dancing With the Stars short-lived? After being slammed by the judges over Mark Ballas’ rule-breaking choreography, the Thrilla from Wasilla was mired in last place, three whole points behind the next-lowest dancer. Was the gap too big to overcome? Or did America throw her a lifeline? America did! Bristol and Mark were safe early on, in fact. Crazy! So who’s out in DWTS Week 2? Find out after the jump … Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson have just been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars. After a respectable score closer to leader Sabrina Bryan than to Bristol. Wow. In the bottom three with Joey and Kym were Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower, whose scores were even higher. Guess it’s going to be one of those seasons. What do you think? Did Joe deserve to go?   Yes, he wasn’t that good or that fun. No, are you kidding me? View Poll »

Levi Johnston, Sunny Oglesby Welcome Baby Girl! Named Breeze Beretta Johnston!

Levi Johnston is a father for the second time. Sunny Oglesby , Levi’s girlfriend of more than a year, gave birth to a healthy baby girl today in Wasilla, Alaska. Her name: Breeze Beretta Johnston. Yep, Levi named his little girl after a gun. TRADE-UP: Cuter and with less insane in-laws than Levi’s ex-fiance! Sunny Oglesby and Levi Johnston did not plan the pregnancy – guy doesn’t roll that way – but they say they’re still together and cool with it. Nice. Breeze Beretta Johnston, the half-sister of Levi’s son Tripp with Bristol Palin, is 6 lbs., 15 oz., and was born at 5:28 a.m. at Matsu Regional Hospital. No word on when daddy will buy Breeze her first Beretta, or whether he’ll get himself one to protect her from guys such as himself in like 15 years. Bristol Palin , from whom Levi claims he’s trying to win back custody of Tripp, debuts next week on DWTS: All-Stars and should be commenting on this soon.

Sarah Palin Defends Bristol Reality Show as "Realistic," Slams Teen Mom

With Bristol Palin under fire for the recent word choice of son Tripp on the latest episode of her Lifetime reality show, Fox News contributor Sarah Palin has come to her daughter’s defense. “Haters are going to hate,” Palin told Salon at an NBC cocktail party on Tuesday, adding of Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp : “I think it’s clever, it’s absolutely real and I’m proud of the girls.” Despite the presence of cameras, her increased level of fame and the six-figure salary Bristol is banking from the series, Sarah Palin insists the program does not encourage young women to give birth. “Her show today I think is very positive, it’s very realistic in terms of showing what single motherhood really is,” Palin said. “It’s not like the Teen Mom
