Mark Ballas: Julianne Hough "Hypocritical" in DWTS Critique

Childhood friends Mark Ballas and Julianne Hough may be in a little bit of a tiff after last night’s Dancing With the Stars , in which she guest judged. After performing as a dance pro for five seasons, Julianne filled in for Len Goodman Monday, and weighed in on Ballas’ foxtrot with Christina Milian. Christina Milian and Mark Ballas – Dancing With the Stars Week 4 “There were moments where I felt like choreography-wise, I felt like it was two people dancing side-by-side rather than together,” she said on the show. “So I really want to see [Milian] shine. I’ve danced with Mark.” “You have to stand in front to make sure you’re seen.” Afterward, Ballas didn’t sound too thrilled with that. “The one comment to me that was a little funny is that I make it all about me… all the critiques were at me, not [Milian]. So I thought that was a little hypocritical,” he told Us . He had plenty of praise for Julianne Hough , however: “I think she was very insightful and gave great tips on lines and how to express. We’ve had a lot of guest judges and I thought out of all of them she was one of the best.” “So that, I love,” he said of the two-time Dancing With the Stars Mirror Ball champion. I was the one who kind of got the heat, but that’s OK! It’s fine.” The two go back a long way. She and brother Derek Hough moved to London to train with Ballas’ famous parents, dance champions Shirley and Corky Ballas. Julianne and Mark paired up for the Junior Olympics and both won medals for ballroom dancing. The two of them and Derek all went on to join DWTS . But Hough claimed she was “mentally and physically abused” while training in London, sparking rumors that she was pointing her finger at the Ballas family.

Selena Gomez: I’m a Better Person Now!

In a new interview with E! News, Selena Gomez doesn’t mention Justin Bieber by name. But the singer – who insists her new single, ” Come & Get It ,” isn’t about her famous ex – does touch on how she was “in a different place” when recording her upcoming album, clearly referencing her relationship with a certain 19-year old. How is Gomez handling the break-up? Just fine, thanks! She joked about making Bieber cry during an appearance on The Late Show a couple weeks ago and she tells E! that her recent “transition has been really fun.” “After going through some of the most interesting, cool times in my life, I’ve come out a better person,” Gomez says . “And it’s definitely what I want to exude.” And exuding it she most certainly has been! Sorry, JB.

Sean Lowe Dedicates Dancing With the Stars Performance to Catherine Giudici

Bachelor star Sean Lowe dedicated his Viennese Waltz on Monday’s DWTS performance show to fiancee Catherine Giudici , who was in the audience. He then followed up by kissing her for all the world to see! Sean Lowe – Dancing With the Stars Week 4 The routine, which earned 20 out of a possible 30 points, should be more than enough to keep Sean Lowe on the show for at least one more week. Especially given the judges’ praise, which included accolades such as “steaming” and “sweet.” Sort of sums up The Bachelor star in a nutshell. Sean made the waltz about his romantic proposal to Catherine Giudici in Thailand on the season finale we witnessed on March 11, a telling gesture. Rumors of the couple’s demise have followed ever since, including one report in which she is said to be jealous of his DWTS pro partner Peta Murgatroyd . If there’s any tension, it was not evident Monday night. Sean and Catherine: Will they make it to the altar?   YES. You can just tell. They are made for each other. Maybe … not convinced, but not writing them off. No chance. I don’t see the connection! View Poll »

Kristen Stewart Fears for Her Life

Kristen Stewart may be back with Robert Pattinson , but all is not well in this actress’ world. She’s afraid she may be killed by a crazed Twihard. It’s unclear when the interview took place, but Stewart is quoted in Talia Soghomonian’s upcoming eBook, “Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner – In Their Own Words,” as saying of the surge in social media: “Everyone is on Facebook and everyone knows where you are all the time, and everyone’s twittering… Like I’m going to die because somebody is going to say where I am and somebody is going to kill me. Someone’s going to twitter my location and then it’s going to be like, boom .” Available right now on Kindle, this book features over 30 interviews with the Twilight Saga stars between 2008 and 2012. Stewart, meanwhile, has been the subject of much scorn among fans of the franchise. But let’s be hopeful and realistic here. We highly doubt anyone will murder her.

Bubba the Love Sponge Lashes Out at "Piece of Crap" Hulk Hogan

Bubba the Love Sponge has fired back at Hulk Hogan. The DJ took to his radio show this morning and responded to his ex-best friend, who has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Bubba (real name: Todd Clem) and Heather Clem , the former couple (pictured) Hogan believes is behind the release of his sex tape. Without explicitly denying his involvement in the video, Bubba said he hasn’t seen it and hinted on air that Hogan may “have had something to do with the leak of it.” He also spoke VERY unfavorably about the iconic wrestler. “He’s a one-way piece of crap who doesn’t care about anyone but himself,” said Bubba, adding that Hogan is “the ultimate lying showman.” Acknowledging that he gave Hulk permission to sleep with his ex-wife in 2006, Bubba said Hogan wasn’t exactly coerced into sex with Heather Clem. “Nobody put a gun to your head,” he said. “You can’t play the victim like that.” Hogan alleges that his privacy was invaded and his legal team has demanded all copies of the sex tape be destroyed. We agree. Who the heck wants to watch this 59-year old have intercourse?!?

Karina Smirnoff Falls, Cries on Dancing With the Stars

Will Karina Smirnoff’s fall on Dancing With the Stars Monday night cost Season 4 champion Apolo Anton Ohno a shot at a second Mirror Ball trophy? Apolo Anton Ohno – Dancing With the Stars Week 4 Midway through the hip hop routine, Apolo’s mic flew off, and Karina proceded to hit the floor after a high kick. They finished strong, but then she broke down. The pro’s pro couldn’t stop the tears from flowing, although “Karina, to be honest, I wasn’t even looking at you,” judge Len Goodman said. “So I don’t care!” Will it cost them on tonight’s results show? Last night’s Dancing With the Stars scores left them in seventh, with Kirstie Alley and Bristol Palin beneath them. In other words, Karina and Apolo could be in danger, given voters, propensity for bailing Bristol out of jams. What do you think? Was it that big of a gaffe?

Anderson Cooper Mocks Bristol Palin "Meltdown," Encourages DWTS All-Star to "Get a Real Job"

On last night’s Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars , Bristol Palin stormed out on partner Mark Ballas during rehearsal because he doesn’t want to be her partner. Anderson Cooper is calling BS … and calling it brilliant TV. Anderson Cooper on Bristol Palin “Anyone on a reality show knows that to get attention, you have to have a have a wardrobe malfunction, throw up, have a breakdown, have a storyline,” he said. “Bristol Palin is a genius because last night she developed a storyline that made her very sympathetic,” AC added, airing a clip from DWTS on his talk show. Anderson later suggested that the Alaska-bred Bristol reexamine her life. “I am thinking of starting a job fair for people … who just need to get jobs, [like] Lindsay Lohan, Bristol Palin . I think they just need to get jobs, stop being on TV!” he mused. Bristol Palin – Dancing With the Stars Week 3 Bristol’s mother, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, supported her oldest daughter at Monday’s taping, then went on Facebook to praise her and slam the haters . The Dancing With the Stars results show airs in a matter of hours. Look for Bristol to survive the double elimination despite her last-place score, then look for the haters to lose their minds, and Sarah Palin to go back on Facebook. Wash, rinse, repeat …
