Lady Gaga Tweets Lyric To Next Single, ‘Judas’

Second Born This Way single is a ‘very, very dark song,’ Gaga says. By Kyle Anderson Lady Gaga Photo: Kristian Dowling/ Getty Images The title track (and first single) from Lady Gaga’s upcoming album Born This Way is still laying waste to sales records, but the singer is already contemplating the album’s second showpiece. On Monday, just before she took the stage at New York’s Madison Square Garden , where she was taping an HBO concert special, Gaga tweeted a lyric from “Judas,” which she already confirmed will be the second single from Born This Way. “I’m just a Holy Fool, oh baby he’s so cruel, but I’m still in love with Judas, baby,” Gaga wrote on Twitter . During a conversation with Carson Daly on his radio show last week, Gaga described the song as a much darker entry than “Born This Way.” “It’s about always falling in love with the wrong man over and over again,” she explained to Daly. ” ‘Judas’ is a very, very dark song. It’s rad.” Rolling Stone recently got to hear six tracks from Born This Way , including “Judas.” ” ‘Judas’ is a classic Lady Gaga pop banger with three huge hooks, a thumping house music breakdown and a vocal part that borrows a bit of Rihanna’s distinctive cadence,” wrote Rolling Stone ‘s Matthew Perpetua . Gaga just kicked off the latest leg of the Monster Ball Tour, which saw her open in Atlantic City before tearing into the first of two Madison Square Garden shows (the second, which will also be taped for the HBO special, is Tuesday night). There is no release date set for “Judas” yet, but Born This Way is scheduled to be dropped on May 23 and the video for “Born This Way” should be appearing soon — at least according to another Gaga tweet. “Just finished editing Born This Way video!” she wrote shortly after tweeting the “Judas” lyric. “Announcement Soon!” Related Photos Lady Gaga’s Madison Square Garden Performance Related Artists Lady Gaga

Britney Spears Teases Femme Fatale’s ‘I Wanna Go’

Spears tweets link to song clip, produced by Max Martin and Shellback. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears Photo: Getty Images As fans get closer to the March 29 release of Britney Spears’ latest album, Femme Fatale , more teasers of tracks off the Dr. Luke/Max Martin executive-produced album are hitting the Web. On Tuesday (February 22), Spears tweeted a link to a 29-second clip of “I Wanna Go,” calling Martin “amazing.” The song kicks off with a thumping beat, as the melody plays lightly over it. Brit’s staccato vocals — “I wanna go-o-o all the way-ay-ay” — enter as the teaser fades out. The song was co-produced and written by Shellback, who recently worked with Spears on “If U Seek Amy” and “3.” He also hooked up with Usher for “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” Robyn on “Time Machine” and Avril Lavigne for “What The Hell.” Thus far, all the tracks Spears has revealed in anticipation of the release of Femme Fatale have been club bangers. Last week, she released the dark, sleek video for her lead single, “Hold It Against Me,” and days later, she teased her next single, “Inside Out.” “In my opinion, this is her strongest album ever,” her manager, Larry Rudolph, told MTV News about the March 29 release. “It’s somewhat of a departure from what she’s done. It’s more mature. It’s more of a dance record.” Are you looking forward to the release of Femme Fatale ? Tell us below! Justin Bieber Named MVP During 2011 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

‘We’re just here having a good time,’ Bieber says after winning the coveted title. By James Dinh Justin Bieber at the 2011 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 18 Photo: Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic As his quest for world domination continues, Justin Bieber took to the basketball court on Friday evening to co-headline the 2011 BBVA NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Los Angeles. And even though his team lost, the teen sensation won the coveted title of MVP at the end of the star-studded game. Bieber did his best to play alongside fellow celebrity participants including Romeo, Common, Rob Kardashian, Trey Songz, actor Michael Rapaport and Nick Cannon. Basketball stars Scottie Pippen, Bill Walton, Rick Fox, Jalen Rose, Mitch Richmond, Chris Mullin and Swin Cash rounded out the game players. While NBA luminary Bill Walton coached the Eastern Conference, Magic Johnson served as instructor for the Western Conference. With the star talent covering the court, the East and West teams delivered steady competition against one another. But once the third quarter kicked in, the East Conference began dominating the scoreboard with a 41-33 lead. Bieber proved his basketball skills to his West team with a stat line that included eight points, two rebounds and four assists. But in the end, the Eastern Conference took the game by storm with a final score of 54-49 (Western). Despite his team’s loss, the Biebster won over the play-by-play sports commentators, who praised the teen star the one time he scored. “Justin Bieber! He could be thinking about that MVP award. He has game,” one announcer said. And as predicted, the celebrity all-star showdown ended with ESPN’s Heather Cox awarding the Most Valuable Player trophy to the teen sensation. “We’re just here. We’re having a good time. We went out there and beat them,” Bieber joked. “

Spears and producer Dr. Luke post 10-second audio clip for second single off new album Femme Fatale. By Shawn Adler Britney Spears Femme Fatale Photo: Jive Just two days after Britney Spears released her highly anticipated video for “Hold It Against Me,” the 29-year-old diva is back to give fans another treat with a brief snippet from her next single, “Inside Out.” “C’mon! Won’t you give me something to remember,” Spears sings in the barely 10-second clip, revealed by the singer and her producer, Dr. Luke, on Twitter . “Baby shut your mouth and turn me inside,” she crescendos. For fans, the brief snippet is a welcome treat, but hardly a surprising one, considering that Spears teased “Hold It Against Me” in similar fashion for several weeks. In an interview with MTV News, Spears’ longtime manager himself, Larry Rudolph, indicated that fans were likely to hear another song before the March 29 release of Femme Fatale, the Mississippi native’s first album in three years. Of the song itself, which he would only speak of obliquely on Thursday, Rudolph had high praise. “I don’t think I’ve been this excited about releasing a Britney single in many, many years,” he said. “It’s that good. That’s all I’m gonna say about it at the moment. I haven’t heard a final mix of it, but I should get it in the next day or two. So far, what I’ve heard is just extraordinary. It really is amazing. Her fans will be very happy with it. I’m trying hard to get it out before the album comes out.” What do you think of the new snippet? Will “Inside Out” be another Britney hit?
