This is far from his first tattoo, but Chris Brown has some new ink: a smiley face on his back (probably because he ran out of room on his chest). And this isn’t any regular smiley, it’s a slightly evil-looking one because of it’s exposed skeleton. His girlfriend Karrueche posted the pic on Twitter. Bobby Brown took a flight from Aruba to Miami, but he may have no recollection of it. The singer was on his way back to Miami from Aruba recently with his wife Alicia Etheridge and son Cassius, and eyewitnesses allege Bobby was super drunk on the American Airlines flight. We’re guessing Bobby was still in vacation mode! A passenger named Brian revealed to RadarOnline : “It was obvious in the terminal that he’d been drinking a lot. He was staggering and several of his family members had to hold him up in order to board the flight. Security had to check his sobriety and kept him at the jet bridge entrance until finally letting him board.” Bobby promptly passed out on the flight as soon as he was allowed on and Brian added, “He reeked of alcohol and his wife had to help him recline his seat. He was passed out for almost the entire three hour flight!” We’re just glad Bobby slept it off and did not wild out on the passengers! Bishop “Dick Tracey” Long may be cutting a check before the weekend is over. The judge overseeing negotiations between the disgraced Pastor-molester and the four young men accusing him of sexual improprieties says they’re close to reaching a settlement. Panos characterized the settlement as within “field goal range.” Panos met with reporters late Friday afternoon to squelch any false information, he said. He confirmed that marathon mediation sessions have been taking place, some lasting from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. the next morning. He said the sessions, which have been ongoing since early February, have taken place at several locations, including the DeKalb County courthouse. The mediator in the case is Gino Brogden, a former Fulton County Superior Court judge, according to Panos. At one point, the negotiations reached a stalemate. It was then that Panos intervened and called a meeting to encourage the parties to push through their differences. When asked if the timing of the settlement held any significance this Holy Week, Panos said resolution and redemption have come into play this week. “All these people are Christian people and they need to resolve this,” he said. In later negotiations, “it’s been benevolently intense,” Panos said, likening the talks to a tennis match, “with a lot of back and forth.” At times the parties have been frustrated, even within their own groups. He said the settlement is not done yet, but close. “A few fine details still need to be worked out,” he said. Do you think all four of the accusers will take their checks and keep it moving? Or will at least one of them try to turn this ordeal into a spot in the limelight? Source

Keke posted on her official site, “I loved the project so much that I wanted to be a producer on it as well , I even got to make suggestions on the script which influenced the music, and speaking of the music, we were so fortunate to have been able to steal Rodney Jerkins, and his amazing writing team, away from American Idol long enough to write all of the fabulous music!!” Get it KeKe! ‘I’m just a product of all that; all the hip-hop that I grew up seeing,’ Breezy tells MTV News about the Cali rap scene. By Rebecca Thomas Chris Brown Photo: MTV News Chris Brown may hail from a little town called Tappahannock in VA, but when it comes to his swag, these days it’s L.A. every day for the F.A.M.E. star. Whether he’s doing the “Cat Daddy” with Los Angeles trio the Rej3ctz in their colorful clip or teaming up with Compton-born Young Money MC Tyga for the wildly successful Fan of a Fan mixtape, C.Breezy reps for the region. As we gear up for our New West Week on Monday — MTV News’ must-follow series on the upstarts breathing new life into the Left Coast rap landscape, from Odd Future to Dom Kennedy — we spoke to Chris about why he lays his broad-brimmed snapback in La-La Land. “I been out in L.A. for a while but I think it’s just, with me, my style is just me,” he said when we asked how he’d been influenced by the City of Angels. With the exception of standard-bearer Snoop Dogg , energetic efforts from Game and the enduring influence of super-producer Dr. Dre, the West Coast took a backseat in the last decade after the Chronic -fueled dominance of gangsta rap subsided. But although that indelible sound gave way to a scene that’s now varied enough to count groups like Black Hippy and Pac Div, as well as Nipsey Hussle and Tyga among its corps, Brown said he was nostalgic for the Chucks-and-Dickies look of Ruthless Records-era N.W.A. “I’m just a product of all that; all the hip-hop that I grew up seeing … I’m inspired by everything,” the “Look At Me Now” singer said. “And I think fashion kind of goes with me as a creative artist. “The L.A. scene now is kinda poppin’,” he continued. “We brought the snapbacks back … me and Tyga,” he claimed about the trendsetting head gear. “Nobody was really wearing it, it was a handful of people: It was Omarion, it was Tyga, me and Big Sean wearing snapbacks. And we was just really wearing that as our own kind of swag ’cause we were looking at N.W.A and looking at how back in the day they used to have Kris Kross and the whole nine, and we wanted to bring that back for the kids.” He quickly added with a laugh, “We ain’t taking credit for it, but you know, everybody’s wearing ’em now, so we did something good.” Breezy did share the sartorial credit, citing fellow Virginia native Pharrell Williams as another major influence on his Angeleno-tinged style. The N.E.R.D. frontman put his stamp on the hip-hop-meets-skate-punk look early on, eventually launching the Billionaire Boys Club line (Chris was outfitted in the collection when he visited the MTV newsroom). “I kind of look at Pharrell as one of the advocates of that [look]. I think a lot of kids, whether it be L.A., whether it be New York, a lot of kids modeled after him when he cut that skater/preppy look, then it was Kanye after and [so on]. Pharell was that guy that really set the tone for us as the kids and the generation now.” Starting Monday, stick with us as MTV News turns the spotlight on the New West, the next wave of hip-hop acts helping to restore faith in the L.A. rap scene. From groups like Odd Future to rising MCs like Dom Kennedy, we’ll bring you up close and personal to these artists as they carve their own lanes in the post-gangsta rap era.
