Chris Brown has had a hard journey on his road to redemption for the violent incident involving Rihanna that left her beaten and bruised. Breezy says he was abandoned by many in the industry. “A handful of people stuck by me,” Brown told Page Six Magazine in an interview scheduled to hit newsstands on Thursday. “You can’t blame people for how they want to be portrayed or if they don’t want to be associated with somebody who had a particular mishap.” Chris Brown’s new album, F.A.M.E. F.A.M.E. singer tells Page Six Magazine , ‘You can’t walk around mad.’ By Terri Schwartz Chris Brown Photo: Jason LaVeris/ Getty Images Chris Brown opened up about his infamous assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna , and he said he’s ready to move past it. “People are always gonna talk, but I’m in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-ass man,” he told Page Six Magazine (in Thursday’s New York Post ). Brown, 21, has been dealing with the fallout since his February 2009 attack on Rihanna, but his new album, F.A.M.E. (which stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies”), has been well-received, showing that the public might be ready to forgive him and accept him as an artist. During the interview, Brown was frank about admitting he was in the wrong for the “mishap,” but said he’s ready to stop apologizing. “At the end of the day, if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool,” he said. Brown admitted that he understood why some of his former friends walked away from him after the incident — “You can’t blame people for how they want to be portrayed or if they don’t want to be associated with somebody who had a particular mishap” — and he said he appreciated the “handful” of people who did stick by him. At the heart of that support group were his fans, whom he thanks in the interview. Brown said he is ready to move beyond this point in his life and look into the future. “The last two years, everybody dissed me,” Brown said. “But my fans were so dedicated. Another week, another odd, unexplained Chris Brown photo leak. First, it was the photo of a battered Rihanna taken after their 2009 fight. Then a photo of Chris banged up after the same altercation. Now … wait for it … A photo of Chris Brown nude has surfaced online! Woo! WHAT NOW?!??! A Chris Brown nude photo leak, that’s what! Just when you think Brown can’t have more negative press to deal with, he manages to one-up himself. This time, with an intimate cell phone picture of himself. The Chris Brown nude pic was sent to an ex , reportedly, but there’s no confirmation of who that ex is. Rihanna is certainly an option, but again, not confirmed. Whoever it was sent to (and thus leaked it last week), the singer is standing in a bathroom in front of a mirror, buck a$$ naked. We’re talking full frontal nudity. Brown is normally quite vocal on Twitter during moments like this, but has yet to comment, start a feud or threaten anyone via social media as of right now. The singer’s silence may lead critics to believe the nude photo appearing weeks before the release of his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E. is just a PR stunt. That may sound crazy, but what else does he have going for him? Every time a battered Rihanna photo leaks, Brown debunks that old saw about any publicity being good publicity. Might as well get nude and switch it up. If that is what’s going on, it’s a much better plot than those fake tears he shed over the death of Michael Jackson (above). That fooled like nine people.

According to the website, it was leaked by an ex-girlfriend of the notorious R&B superstar, who recently featuring Wiz Khalifa, from his upcoming LP F.A.M.E. Generally known to be vocal when scandal hits, Brown was relatively silent on Twitter after the photos appeared online, tweeting and then removing “WTF!!! Here we go!!!” on his verified account. “Another day!! Another lesson! Another party!!” he tweeted on Saturday afternoon . “I’m so thankful to have the support of my fans with my music! Love.” The incident is the latest in a series of photo scandals for Brown, who saw more pictures of a beaten-up and bruised Rihanna released in February. Brown pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of five years of probation on June 22, 2009 for domestic abuse against the “Umbrella” chanteuse. The photos, which showed Rihanna with her eyes swollen and with cuts lining the inside of her mouth, were viewed by Brown as retribution for violent acts he perpetrated against her. “It’s ironic how ‘somebody’ put this out right around my album time! Wow! I guess that’s supposed to be strategic chess move. Unbelievable,” he tweeted. “The Devil is always busy!! Apparently, the law enforcement agencies have just as much faith in Weezy staying clean as the rest of us. According to TMZ , last time Wayne landed in Miami, them boys were waiting for him, ready to catch him with some sh*t he had no business having. Lil Wayne had one hell of a greeting party at Opa-Loca Airport in Miami earlier this week — where the rapper was stopped and searched by federal agents after he got off his plane … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us … multiple agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency performed a contraband search on Weezy … who’s currently on felony probation stemming from incidents involving drugs and guns.
