Police say they believe a fight over candy led to the murder of Brick Squad rapper Slim Dunkin over the weekend. Slim Dunkin (real name Mario Hamilton) was shot and killed at a recording studio on Memorial Drive on Friday night. Police said Slim got into an argument with another man over a piece of candy prior to the fatal shooting. Despite there being 15-30 people in the recording studio at the time of the murder, so far, no witnesses have come forward. Slim Dunkin was headed to the recording studio to appear in the “Push Ups” video for Gucci Mane and V-Nasty, a track he rapped on that appears on the duo’s street LP, “BAYTL.” Slim Dunkin has also recorded with his best friend, Waka Flocka Flame , Roscoe Dash and others. As we previously reported, Slim was murdered on Friday at a recording studio on Memorial Drive. The killer remains at large.
