Amanda Bynes Appears in Court, Says Bong Was Just a Vase, Released on Recognizance

Amanda Bynes appeared in court Friday, offered a classic excuse for the antics that got her arrested last night, and was released on her own recognizance. She will be back in court in July. Amanda Bynes in Court What began with a disturbance call ended with Amanda Bynes arrested for marijuana possession, evidence tampering and reckless endangerment late Thursday. The latter two offenses were allegedly committed when she tossed a bong out of her 36th-floor window … though she claims it was “just a vase.” Seriously, she said that. As for the pot charge, that stems from her allegedly blazing up in the lobby of her building, which led a doorman to call the cops. Shortly after 11 a.m. this morning, the former child star showed up in court in a blonde wig, gray sweats and a baggy black sweater, looking blase. That wig was also evident in the viral arrest video taken on the street as she was hauled out of her building, and in Amanda Bynes’ mug shot . Her lawyer, Andrew Friedman, said his client denies throwing a bong out of a window and claims that police illegally followed her into her apartment. Prosecutors pushed to hold her in lieu of bail, but the judge cut her loose. Bynes told the judge to “have a nice day” and jumped into a waiting cab. Amanda Bynes Arrest Video As for the insanity last night, the criminal complaint from the incident says officers responding to the lobby incident found a bong on her kitchen counter. According to the report, the law enforcement official, wearing a “full police uniform,” asked Amanda about the bong and the actress flipped out. It’s not clear whether her door was open or she invited the police in. The officer said, “I observed [Amanda] grab said bong, run to the westbound-facing window, and throw it out the window where numerous pedestrians were walking.” Thirty-six floors down, on 8th Ave. and West 47th Street. Bynes was then arrested for reckless endangerment, drug possession and evidence tampering. Bynes has a history of DUI and other automobile-related cases, not to mention provocative Tweets and almost daily media accounts of unusual behavior.

You Can’t Be Serious: 3 Geriatrics Popped For Running Hoes And Drugs Out Of New Jersery Senior Citizens Housing Complex!

Front if you wanna, these old folks get it poppington! 3 Arrested In Prostitution And Drug Sting At New Jersey Senior Citizens Housing Complex Via NorthJersey Some of the activities taking place at Englewood’s senior citizen housing complex were a long way from canasta, police said. A man, 75, and a woman, 66, suspected of using yayo and running a prostitution ring out of their apartments at the Vincente K. Tibbs Senior Citizen Building have been arrested after residents complained about vagrants, drunks and addicts invading their building, authorities said. The suspects and an alleged accomplice are believed to be behind a recent rise in crime that had residents afraid to come out of their apartments, authorities said. Their growing fears prompted an undercover investigation and new round-the-clock police patrols of the complex. “Essentially, they were prisoners in their own building,” Chief Arthur O’Keefe of the Englewood police said of the residents. “I wasn’t going to allow that to continue.” In late April, police arrested fifth-floor residents James Parham and his neighbor Cheryl Chaney on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug nuisance. Chaney faces an additional charge of possession of crack yayo. A third suspect, Selma McDuffie, a 54-year-old school crossing guard, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found her with a crack pipe, police said. McDuffie has been suspended from her police-run crossing guard job in Englewood and threatened with arrest if she returns to the building. Parham admitted providing prostitutes — mostly young women with crack yayo addictions — to some of his younger neighbors in the building, Detective Capt. Timothy Torell said. More charges could be pending. At what age do you say: “I’m too cotdamn old to be smoking crack and chopping down crack hoes.” Can you imagine having to bail your grandmother out of jail because she was caught giving some sloppy toppy in exchange for a few rocks?? Jesus Take The Wheel: Daughter Finds Out Mother Is Among The 230 Dead In Bangladesh Building Collapse

Pray for the people in Bangladesh ! Daughter Finds Out Mother Is Among The Dead In Primark Factory Disaster According to Mail Online Bangladeshi rescue workers are continuing their increasingly desperate search for survivors in a collapsed clothes factory building where workers made cheap clothes for Primark. Hundreds were killed when the eight-story Rana Plaza in Savar on the outskirts of Dhakar collapsed yesterday, the day after cracks were seen in its walls. The death toll continues to rise and currently stands at more than 230. Forty people have been pulled alive from the rubble today. Many of those working in the building at the time were young women, while some of those killed and injured are bound to be children as the building also housed a crèche. Around 2,000 people have so far been pulled out alive. Doctors at local hospitals said they were unable to cope with the number of victims arriving from the disaster site. This afternoon workers still trapped could be heard crying out for help as firefighters and soldiers using drilling machines and cranes struggled to reach them. Officials say police had ordered the building evacuated on Tuesday, the day before its deadly collapse, after deep cracks became visible in its walls. But the factories flouted the order and managers ordered their staff to keep working. Some survivors have said they were threatened with the sack if they refused to enter the building. After the cracks were reported, managers of a local bank that also had an office in the building evacuated their workers. The garment factories, though, kept working, ignoring the instructions of the local industrial police, said Mostafizur Rahman, a director of that paramilitary police force. The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association had also asked the factories to suspend work starting on Wednesday morning, hours before the collapse. ‘After we got the crack reports, we asked them to suspend work until further examination, but they did not pay heed,’ said Atiqul Islam, the group’s president. Today the smell of rotting bodies wafted through holes cut into the building. Junior minister for Home Affairs, Shamsul Haque, said a total of 2,000 people had so far been rescued from the wreckage. Brigadier General Mohammed Siddiqul Alam Shikder, who is overseeing army rescue teams, said the death toll had climbed to 194. Dozens of bodies, their faces covered, were laid outside a local school building so relatives could identify them. Thousands of workers’ family members gathered outside the building, waiting for news, as thousands of garment workers from nearby factories took to the streets across the industrial zone in protest. General Shikder said rescue operations were progressing slowly. He said rescue teams were standing by with heavy equipment and would ‘start bulldozing the debris once we get closer to the end of the operation. ‘But now we are careful,’ he added He also said the size of the crowd was interfering with getting more rescuers to the scene. ‘We are ready with about 1,000 soldiers and rescue workers from other departments. But a huge crowd is obstructing our effort,’ he said. Searchers worked through the night to probe the jumbled mass of concrete with drills or their bare hands, passing water and flashlights to people pinned inside. Sumi, a 25-year-old worker who goes by one name, said she was sewing jeans on the fifth floor with at least 400 others when the building fell. ‘It collapsed all of a sudden,’ she said. ‘No shaking, no indication. It just collapsed on us.’ She said she managed to reach a hole in the building where rescuers pulled her out. Survivor Shaheena Akhter, 23, said: ‘Some of us did not want to work fearing something might happen, but the garment factory people told us that we had to join our work otherwise we will lose our jobs.’ Abdul Halim, an official with the engineering department in Savar, said the owner was originally allowed to construct a five-story building but he added another three stories illegally. Local police chief Mohammed Asaduzzaman said police and the government’s Capital Development Authority have filed separate cases of negligence against the building owner. Habibur Rahman, police superintendent of Dhaka district, identified the owner as Mohammed Sohel Rana, a local leader of ruling Awami League’s youth front. Mr Rahman said police were also looking for the owners of the garment factories. Among the textile businesses in the building were Phantom Apparels, New Wave Style, New Wave Bottoms and New Wave Brothers. Primark’s ethical trade team is working to collect information, assess which communities the workers come from and provide support ‘where possible’, the company said. Charles Kernaghan, executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, which has an office in Dhaka, says his staff are investigating. ‘You can’t trust many buildings in Bangladesh,’ Mr Kernaghan said. ‘It’s so corrupt that you can buy off anybody and there won’t be any retribution.’ Do you think the owner of the garment factory is to blame for threatening the factory workers’ jobs if they did not work? GTFOHWTBS! Lil Wayne Kicked Out Of Miami Heat Game… Guess What He Did Wrong?

Weezy rooted for the Lakers … No seriously: But here’s the thing, another fan in the building says that he was actually booted for making a gun gesture — and a spokesman for the Heat says he actually left of his own accord. Via Y ahoo reports : During Sunday’s Miami Heat win over the L.A. Lakers, rapper Lil Wayne tweeted that he was ejected from American Airlines Arena for cheering for the visiting team. “So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow!” the rapper tweeted. He then added an epithet: “[Expletive] da Heat.” That caused quite a reaction on Twitter, as Lil Wayne has nearly 10 million followers. Yet he’s not the only one out there with an account of what happened Sunday. A fan named Danny Vega, who said he was near the rapper, had a different version of the incident: “Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHEAT game, Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun,” tweeted Vega, who said he was at the game and sitting near Lil Wayne. “Weezy just got into argument with security at the #MiamiHEAT game. He got kicked out for gun gesture.” Heat spokeswoman Lorrie-Ann Diaz told USA Today in an email that Lil Wayne was not kicked out but instead chose to leave. NBA fans and fans of Lil Wayne will recall a similar disagreement during last year’s Western Conference finals, as the rapper claimed he wasn’t allowed entry into Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. A spokesman for the Thunder later said Lil Wayne wasn’t allowed into the building because he didn’t have a ticket. So who is telling the truth? BTW, doesn’t this all remind you of the song “Take me out to the ball game”? The whole point is to root root root for the home team. Weezy got the game all twisted. Besides, the Lakers suck this season anyway. AP

Dirty Dog Diaries: KC Chiefs Player Jovan Belcher Spent Night Before Murder-Suicide With Another Jawn Than His Baby’s Mom!

Jovan Belcher, the Chiefs baller who shot the beautiful mother of his daughter before taking his own life was creeping with another woman the night before. Via NY Post reports : Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher had a boozy dinner with another woman and spent the night at her apartment before he went home, fought with and killed his girlfriend, and then ended his own life in a practice-facility parking lot, sources said yesterday. After dinner and drinks Friday night at a local tavern, the former Long Island high-school star took the woman, Brittni Glass, to her home, but spent the next several hours asleep in his Bentley outside her building, neighbors said. After cops roused him from his drunken slumber at about 2:30 a.m., Belcher went inside Glass’ building and re-emerged about four hours later. “I was with him that night, that’s it,” a reluctant Glass told The Post yesterday. Belcher drove away at about 6:45 a.m., making the 10-minute ride to the home he shared with Kasandra Perkins, the mother of his 3-month-old daughter. Cops said Belcher quarreled with Perkins and shot her nine times as his own mom watched in horror. Perkins’ body was found on a bathroom floor. Belcher then drove to the Chiefs’ practice facility at 8 a.m. and shot himself in the head with a different gun in front of the team’s coach and general manager. Glass said she told police they had been together that night. Cops confirmed that several people came forward to tell them about Belcher’s visit. “His Bentley was parked outside,” a neighbor said. “He went upstairs. He was drunk. He went up to see the girl.’’ Early reports said Belcher flew into a rage after Perkins returned late from a Trey Songz concert at about 1 a.m. But according to Glass and her neighbors, Belcher wasn’t even home then. Residents said they had seen Belcher — who had a $1.9 million contract with the Chiefs this year — and his distinctive black Bentley at the building several times in recent months. Glass said she and Belcher were not in a relationship and declined to say exactly where he slept. Meanwhile, a new report said Belcher had been violent in a past relationship. In 2006, while a grid star at the University of Maine, he punched his fist through a window because he was “upset with a girl,’’ said a police report obtained by USA Today. Less than a year later, campus cops responded to a complaint of disorderly conduct at a dorm after someone “became concerned about the raised voices” of Belcher and a girlfriend outside his room, the paper said.. Yesterday, Perkins’ family broke its silence for the first time since the tragedy. “Our wish is for Kasi to be remembered for the love she shared with us all. Kasi will be truly missed,” they said in a statement. Trey Songz is probably relieved to hear this new info, but we kinda pity this Brittni Glass chick cuz it’s only a matter of time before her photo leaks and the world starts calling her all kinds of slores… As for Belcher, the more we learn the more he sounds like he had some serious issues. R.I.P. Kasi
