Kris And Caitlyn Jenner Photographed Together For The First Time Caitlyn and Kris Jenner have not quite seen eye-to-eye since the big transition . They’ve even had to resort to couples therapy to see eye-to-eye. But now, the two have been spotted out having a bite together like old girlfriends. So what occasion could possibly bring these two together??? Kylie’s 18th birthday weekend, of course. The whole fam (minus Rob, per usual) linked up for a family birthday dinner to kick off Kylie’s ascension into adulthood…and Kris and Cait linked up on camera for the very first time: Cute…right? Hit the flip for more from the Jenner-dashians on Kylie’s big day…
Ever since Caitlyn Jenner debuted on the cover of Vanity Fair back in June, the response from fans and the transgender community has been overwhelmingly positive. Sure she’s met with plenty of haters, and the occasional critic who takes issue with Caitlyn’s insensitive comments toward disadvantaged trans people, but never before has she encountered something quite like this: You may have seen that ad in your Facebook or Twitter feed today. It was paid for by Sixt Rent-a-Car (“the leading car rental company in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Israel,” according to the company’s Wikipedia page), and we can’t imagine how anyone thought it was a good idea. Obviously, the ad is making light of Caitlyn’s transition by referring to it as a “crossover” and comparing it to an Audi Q5. We’ll give these guys the benefit of the doubt and assume that it was all meant in good fun. Even so, comparing the difficulties faced by transgender people to a freakin’ car you can rent for $49 a day is wildly insensitive and just plain dumb. On I Am Cait Season1 Episode 2 , Caitlyn was educated about the crippling poverty and sky-high suicide rates that plague the trans community. Perhaps someone should send a DVD of the episode to the morons in the Sixt marketing department. And maybe those dolts should take a page from Avis’ ad campaign and try harder…to not be douchebags. Human Barbie Valeria Lukyanova is back and more bizarre than ever, turning her sights on one of her high-profile critics: Perez Hilton. The Ukrainian, doll-like enigma famous for her unusual diets, eye-popping photos and truly absurd commentary, lashed out at Perez. Why? Because Hilton implied Lukyanova was a hypocrite for hating on the “Human Barbie” nickname that “literally made her famous.” (This was June when he wrote that.) Naturally, HuBarb responded by posting a lengthy personal attack beneath side-by-side Valeria Lukyanova photos and Perez photos. Adding the words “Natural Sporty” and “Natural Awkward” (above), she defended herself from his attacks … and called him “ugly.” Not that it would change her asinine point (whatever it may be), but Perez has lost a ton of weight and is super cut nowadays. Anyway. “This is funny coming from a man who looks like clown,” she writes. “It [amazes] me how people with the weirdest bodies are so full of themselves.” So basically, the woman who aspires to look as “perfect” as a Barbie Doll hates when you call her that, especially if you’re uggers. “Before you decide to broadcast your naked torso,” Valeria adds of Perez, “you should probably make sure you are nice to look at.” She then suggests Hilton get a “boob job.” Lukyanova then takes a shot at “Human Ken” Justin Jedlica , another critic of hers, calling him a “lost case” who “simply [looks] awful.” “Such characters as Justin and Perez make their names by publicly offending famous people like me,” Lukyanova laments, concluding: “Ok well, here goes my PR to them and may they enjoy eating crumbs from the master’s table.” Well, that about sums it up. We have no idea what that even means to be honest … but well handled, Valeria. Well handled indeed.
Last week, Kris Jenner visited Caitlyn Jenner at her home in Malibu. It was the first time the exes have been face-to-face since Caitlyn completed her transition, and naturally, I Am Cait cameras were on hand to document the meeting . Sources say things were a bit awkward, but according to Radar Online it won’t be the last time that the Jenners hang out. In fact, Kris and Caitlyn have reportedly signed up for ex-couples’ therapy . “It was Caitlyn’s idea and Kris agreed, but not just because of the kids — Kris knows it will help with her closure,” says one insider. “So far, it’s really helped her come to terms with the ‘new Bruce’ standing before her they’ve got a lot of history together.” The source says that the Jenners see the therapy sessions “as an opportunity to clear the air in private rather than let working through their feelings turn into a public mud-slinging match, which is what nearly happened after Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair interview.” The insider adds that Kris is “still bitter” over the way Caitlyn handled her transition and feels as though she was lied to for the entirety of their marriage. We’re not sure if therapy will help, but should make for some compelling I Am Cait episodes . View Slideshow: I Am Cait: Sneak Peeks, Promos & More!

We've found another celebrity who doesn't think Caitlyn Jenner should have received an ESPY Award . Stopped on the street by TMZ cameras late last week, D.L. Hughley made his opinion on the transgender star very clear. Referencing the tennis legend after whom Jenner's ESPY was named, the comedian said: “[Arthur Ashe] fought AIDS with dignity and honor and Caitlyn Jenner put on a dress. I don't think it's the same thing. “I don't think that would have been my choice but I'm not on the ESPYS. I think Arthur Ashe and Caitlyn Jenner have little in common.” Would Hughley at least conceded that Caitlyn is beautiful? “In a Miss Doubtfire kind of way. Stop it. Stop it,” he said. As we look to add this quote to the dumb things people have said about Caitlyn Jenner , Hughley concluded: “This week we had the media telling us that Caitlyn Jenner was beautiful and that Serena Williams looked like a man. That was a little weird to me. The man looks like a woman and the woman looks like a man? That's ridiculous. “I think Serena is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on a tennis court and Bruce Jenner looks like every P.E. teacher I've ever had.” After giving this interview, Hughley posted side-by-side photos of Jenner and Mrs. Doubtfire on his Twitter account and wrote: “Somebody tell me I'm wrong. #TeamDL.”
In her upcoming memoir Bulletproof , Teen Mom O.G. star Maci Bookout says she got plenty of fame, but no fortune from her MTV stardom. In other words, she got the “s–t end of the deal.” “Reality TV can make you famous, but you basically get the s–t end of the deal,” writes Maci, who just gave birth to her second child . “Everyone knows your name and talks about you, but there’s no red-carpet prestige or glamorous piles of money.” We all can’t be Kim Kardashian, it’s true. “Once you become a so-called reality TV star, people immediately think that you’re a high-end celebrity,” she adds. “They think you travel the world and have a mansion and all these other things they associate with having your face on TV.” The Tennessee sweetheart, whose book drops July 21, drops the truth that she’s just another mom struggling to get by. “The fact is, my real life isn’t that much different from what it would have been without MTV,” the 23-year-old claims. “I still live in Chattanooga. I go to Wal-Mart and buy bread and milk.” The mother of Bentley (with Ryan Edwards) and baby Jayde (with Taylor McKinney) admits she tweets to her 1.36 million Twitter fans for cash. “Since I took to it so well,” Bookout says , “I started looking into the prospect of becoming a social media specialist.” That she may be, but she’s not an accounting pro. Bookout was reportedly hit with a lien by the IRS for failing to pay nearly $80,000 in taxes from 2011 alone. On the plus side, Maci, her nemesis Farrah Abraham , Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell will be back for Teen Mom Season 6 next year.
Caitlyn Jenner was honored at the 2015 ESPY Awards on Wednesday night. The transgender star gave a moving speech in which she urged listeners to accept others for who they are, joking (or not) that she's never felt more “pressure” in her life than she did while choosing her awards show outfit. This movement is “not just about one person; it's about thousands of people,” Caitlin said on stage. “It's not just about me. It's about all of us accepting one another. We're all different. That's not a bad thing. It's a good thing. “And while it may not be easy to get past the things you always don't understand, I want to prove that it is absolutely possible, if we only do it together.” Jenner has received nothing but praise for the speech, though she told ABC's Robin Roberts afterward that it was quite the challenge to get through. It “wasn’t easy,” Caitlyin said, eyes watering. “It’s great to be in a position where myself and my family have been so supportive of what is happening. “You know, my kids are great. My kids are absolutely wonderful. I am blessed to have just wonderful children.” Watch Caitlyn's full post-ESPYs interview with Roberts here.
