Following the platinum-selling crew’s hit-packed medley – which included a massive team of dancers working it in illuminated jumpsuits and surprise appearances from Usher and Guns N’ Roses’ Slash – Hilton took to Twitter to opine about the performance and had nothing but love for the Peas’ set, despite his history with the group’s frontman. “Pigs are about to fly…… I think that was the best Half Time Show in years!” Hilton wrote. Although he did point out the group’s glitches, he added that the performance was miles ahead of previous halftime sets. “So the Peas did not sound amazing, but they were very entertaining! Much better than The Who last year or Tom Petty before!” Will graciously accepted the compliment, replying , “thanks perez…it means a lot from you…” Perez returned the Twitter love, writing, “I mean it. Great job! You could tell you guys worked very hard on it.” The media personality and MC famously feuded in 2009 when Hilton accused will of assaulting him after an awards show, a claim which the producer/rapper vehemently denied. The drama played out in outlets from Twitter to TMZ, and eventually lawyers were dragged into the fray. However, Sunday night’s explosive set apparently prompted Hilton to set aside the past and send out some snaps. Hilton wasn’t the only one who enjoyed the performance. Laura Govan checking Gilbert Arenas assets all the way to the bank!!! How in the world do you get served during the NBA game??? Did they have to buy a ticket to the game in order to do this??? A process server stopped Arenas as he walked off the court Thursday night against the Miami Heat. The court documents, obtained by The Associated Press, were a California petition filed by Laura Mendoza Govan. She identifies herself as his ex-girlfriend in the documents. The petition seeks custody and child support for three children that Govan says Arenas fathered and has since “financially cut off.” She is also seeking support for another unborn child. After being outed on his lavish spending, Gilbert Arenas called into a radio show to dispute the lies: People facing expensive court battles usually keep quiet, but the former Wizard was awfully chatty in his call into our colleague Mike Wise’s 106.7 FM radio show. It’s all lies, Arenas claimed — except the bit about what Govan said he spends on his legendary shark tank. Yes, it’s really five grand a month: “I’d rather spend $5,000 on my fish than have a drinking problem.” The sharks, he claimed, have died, because of “somebody throwing pennies in the fish tank.” No names. Otherwise, he accused Govan of overhyping his finances. “If you look back at the last couple breakups of any NBA athlete… it’s a format they all go by to get more child support money… This is not ‘Basketball Wives.’… These girls got to stop living a fantasy world.” As for him: “You make bad choices as an adult, and we pick the wrong woman sometime.” Ouch. The 16-year-old singer – who was recently believed to be romancing ‘That’s So Raven’ actress Jasmine Villegas – was spotted holding hands and “goofing around” with the 18-year-old Disney star at a cinema in Burbank, California last week. An insider told gossip website Hollywood Life: “The second they got to the theater, they were instantly recognized and everyone got so excited! You could tell they had to refrain from any public displays of affection, so they were just being goofy with each other in the lobby. “Justin and Selena immediately split from their bodyguard when they got to their seats. I bet that was when they started holding hands.” Meanwhile, the ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker – who in the past has revealed his dream women include the likes of Katy Perry , Kim Kardashian and Cheryl Cole – admitted Selena is one of his “best friends”. One the same day Charlie Sheen checked into a rehab center, Demi Lovato checked out of one. Lovato is already back in Los Angeles, following a two-month stay in an Illinois facility where she fought through what a rep originally described as ” emotional and physical issues .” In fact, these photos were snapped of the star this afternoon in Santa Monica. Isn’t it nice to see her smiling again? Demi will continue to seek treatment in California, as insiders tell TMZ she hopes to return to a “regular routine” that involves a lot of time with her family. We wish her all the best and truly hope Lovato’s problems are all in the past.

Gladys Horton, who was a teenager when she led the Marvelettes in the Motown hit “Please Mr. Postman,” has died at the age of 66. Horton died on Wednesday in a nursing home in the Los Angeles area where she had stayed after suffering a stroke last year, her son, Vaughn Thornton, said in a statement on Thursday. “My mother died peacefully,” Thornton said. “She fought as long as she could.” Horton, who was raised by foster parents in the Detroit suburb of Inkster, formed a singing group with friends while in high school. That group, originally called “The Casinyets” short for “can’t sing yet,” caught the attention of Berry Gordy’s Motown studio and changed their name to the Marvelettes. “Please Mr. Postman,” featuring the 17-year-old Horton’s bluesy lead vocals became Motown’s first No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Hot 100 when it was released in 1961. Horton was also the lead singer on a string of later hits, including “Beechwood 4-5789″ (1962) and “Too Many Fish in the Sea” (1964). She was replaced by Wanda Young as lead singer in the group in 1965 and left the Marvelettes in 1967. Horton had been living in California since the early 1970s. R.I.P. Source

DAS Communications’ lawyer claims producer Dr. Luke convinced her to breach contract. By Jocelyn Vena Ke$ha Photo: Fotonoticias/ Getty Images Ke$ha is being sued by her former managers at DAS Communications for upwards of $14 million, Ken Freundlich, who is representing DAS in the case, confirmed to MTV News. “DAS was Ke$ha’s manager since the beginning of 2006, and there was a written agreement, and they worked closely, and sometime in September 2008 [producer] Dr. Luke, for his own personal gain, somehow induced her to breach that contract,” Freundlich said. “And she unceremoniously terminated DAS without justification and then ended up with Luke, basically. So we sued Ke$ha for breach of contract and Luke for interference, and that was last year, and the defense’s reaction was to try and delay us. They made motions. “The judge denied all their motions, and now we’re going forward. We’re going to have our day in court,” he continued. “And we’re going to prove that Dr. Luke induced her to breach the contract. She had no right to do so, and we’re gonna get damages from her.” Freundlich explained how he and his team came to the $14 million sum, explaining, “We don’t know exactly how much, but we assume it’s in that range. She’s been quite successful. The case is set. It’s gonna go on the rest of this year. We’re gonna go straight to the trial if we have to.” Ke$ha has filed a suit in California against the management team, but Freundlich is confident nothing will come of her claim that they acted as an “illegal talent agent.” “That’s pending out in California. A new product is showing up at some medical marijuana dispensaries in Colorado. It’s “Soda Pot,” and it’s just like it sounds: a marijuana soft drink. The drinks are made by California entrepreneur Clay Butler. His drinks contain the psychoactive marijuana ingredient THC. Butler, of Soquel, Calif., tells the Santa Cruz Sentinel his branding savvy will make his product a hit. The company’s flagship cola drink is called Canna Cola. There is also Doc Weed, which is supposed to be like Dr. Pepper, lemon-lime Sour Diesel, grape-flavored Grape Ape and Orange Kush. A 12-ounce bottle costs $10-$15. Butler, a commercial artist, told the newspaper he doesn’t do drugs or need medical marijuana for any ailments. There is concern in Colorado about marketing “Soda Pot.” “This should appear to be a legitimate form of medication, not a soda pop that children could easily confuse for real soda pop,” says Bob Cooke of the Bureau of Narcotics Enforcement. “This is simply no different than the packaging of alcohol and tobacco,” says Miguel Lopez, a medical marijuana advocate. Proponents say people keep alcohol and tobacco out of the reach of children, and medical marijuana patients can do the same with marijuana soda. Hold up, wait a minute, let us put some kush up in it.
