Taylor Swift turns 26 years old today. And it may not be a stretch to say no human in the history of the world has enjoyed a 25th year of existence as successful as that of this global superstar. So, before Taylor embarks on what we’re sure will be another headline-making, money-generating 12 months, let’s take a look back at the previous year in the life of this singing sensation. It all started toward the end of 2014, when Swift released her first pop album “1989.” A short while later, in promotion of the record, Taylor brought her sexy side to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show: After finding success with music videos for “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” Swift then took things up a couple dozen notches with the “Bad Blood.” Its video featured pretty much every famous female in Hollywood (except for Katy Perry , natch): With her professional career at an apex, Swift also managed to finally find love in her personal life. The Voice Season 8 began this fall’s epic Battle Rounds with contestants dueling it out for survival, with everything at stake in mano a mano duels. Well, assuming no superstar throws them a lifeline. Thank goodness for the steal – coaches can grab defeated singers, two apiece, in this round – because without them, this would be unfair. With the singers feeding off of one another and lending their respective strengths to the duet as a whole, instantly eliminating one is cruel. Even if there’s a clear victor, knowing that the steal is in play allows us to focus on what a thoroughly creative and entertaining format this is. Calvin Harris Threatens to Sue Over Hand Job Allegations

Calvin Harris would like to make something very clear: He did not receive any hand jobs from any massage parlors and anyone who says anything to the contrary may want to go out and hire a lawyer. Earlier this week, Radar Online spread the rumor that Taylor Swift dumped Harris because the DJ was spotted leaving an establishment known for providing its clients with “happy endings.” (No, we’re not referring to copies of the canceled ABC sitcom.) But just as fans were starting to sympathize with poor Taylor and lament yet another failed romantic entanglement, Harris jumped on Twitter and wrote the following last night: “It’s not going to be a ‘happy ending’ for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bullshit stories bye bye.” Nice. Well played, Calvin, both for the definitive denial and also for the perfectly-placed pun. It certainly does seem like a stretch to believe that Calvin Harris would risk his relationship with Swift just to receive some manual pleasure from a stranger. Although Harry Styles supposedly split with the artist in 2013 because Swift was too prude . Prior to Calvin’s threat, though, Swift’s rep came out with a simple statement of his own, telling the world: “I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, do not believe Radar Online.” Sounds like someone has some bad blood with Radar Online, eh? Josh Duggar Molestation Scandal: Headed to Law & Order SVU

If you’re a fan of the insanely long-running Law & Order franchise, you know that producers like to explore recent scandals in topical “ripped from the headlines” episodes. So we suppose it was only a matter of time before the Josh Duggar molestation scandal  made its way into the writers’ room. In an episode set to air next month, the detectives of SVU will investigate the parents of a religiously conservative reality TV family – after their 13-year-old daughter winds up pregnant. While the show never goes easy on its “especially heinous” criminals, if comments made by series regular Peter Scanavino are any indication, the Duggars will be portrayed in a particularly harsh light: “With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact — I mean, honestly, I feel like we’re dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family,” Scanavino said in a recent interview. “I have never been so infuriated with someone’s level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else…When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say.” Hopefully Josh’s rehab facility doesn’t have TV. Some pretty cruel pranks have been uploaded to YouTube over the years. We've cringed as people faked heart attacks . We've chuckled as “friends” tricked one another into drinking hot sauce . But the king of blurring the line between funny and f–ked up has gotta be YouTube comic and certifiably insane father of one, Roman Atwood. You may remember Roman from the time he convinced his girlfriend that he launched their toddler off a balcony . In his latest clip, he steps his game up by making her believe the kid was blown up in a horrific four-wheeler accident. Yes, it's hard to watch, but the girl stays with him, so we assume he's the ideal boyfriend and father in every other respect. What's a little psychological torture when the guy's willing to make dinner afterward?

Steve Sarkisian: USC Football Coach FIRED While in Rehab!

After announcing an unexpected leave of absence yesterday, USC football coach Steve Sarkisian has been fired by the university, apparently as a result of his ongoing struggles with alcohol abuse. “After careful consideration of what is in the best interest of the university and our student-athletes, I have made the decision to terminate Steve Sarkisian, effective immediately,” athletic director Pat Haden said in a statement released moments ago. “I want to thank Clay Helton for stepping into the interim head coach role, and I want to add how proud I am of our coaching staff and players and the way they are responding to this difficult situation.   “Through all of this we remain concerned for Steve and hope that it will give him the opportunity to focus on his personal well being.” Sarkisian’s battle with the bottle has been well documented, with stories of the widely respected coach and former BYU quarterback showing up to practices and even games visibly intoxicated. Sources say Sarkisian’s recent divorce exacerbated his alcoholism, and he was reportedly forced to take his leave of absence and seek treatment after he showed up to a team meeting drunk on Sunday. Obviously, Sarkisian is one of many famous figures to struggle with alcoholism , but while celebrities are often able to come back from public battles with addiction, the sports world is often less forgiving. Here’s hoping the 41-year-old hasn’t permanently derailed his once promising career.
