If you watch Dance Moms online , you may want to reach for the tissue box right about now, because a mainstay is about to depart. No, not Abby Lee Miller. Maddie Ziegler will be leaving the Lifetime reality show after six seasons, according to a new report. Ziegler, 13, has been one of the original cast members along with sister Mackenzie, 11, and their mom, Melissa Gisoni, since 2011. Maddie began dancing at the Abby Lee Dance Company when she was just four years old and quickly rose to fame on Season 1. Her pursuit of a bigger, better career is already in motion thanks in part to her frequent collaborator and mentor, pop singer Sia Furler. The Australian has been a fan, and a friend, for awhile. Sia – who cast Maddie i music videos for “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart” and “Big Girls Cry” – will soon cast her in her feature film as well. As for Abby Lee Miller’s future, it’s a little less bright. Or at the very least, it’s a lot more uncertain, thanks to legal wrangling she faces. Miller was indicted on bankruptcy fraud charges in October. Miller’s fate on the show has yet to be determined, but things aren’t good. The volatile studio owner also revealed in a December 7 Dance Moms newsletter that she even might be missing from a few episodes. In the Dance Moms Season 6 trailer , she is seen freaking out about the case – even more than she normally freaks out about stuff. Anyway, Lifetime has not confirmed if Dance Moms will be back for a seventh season after this, but if it is, Maddie Z. will not be on it. Season 6 kicks off January 5. Brace yourselves.

The shot, taken by Christopher Jelf, features the family of four at Anmer Hall, their ten-bedroom home in Norfolk, England. “I thoroughly enjoyed photographing a very lovely family, although you have to be sharp as you don’t have long when there are two young children involved!” Jelf said, according to the Daily Mail . “I hope everyone enjoys this photo and I am honoured that The Duke and Duchess have decided to share it with the public.” The photo was most likely taken the same day as Princess Charlotte’s adorable pics . “A new family photo – Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte,” a caption read on The British Monarchy’s Facebook page. “The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four.” William and Catherine also announced that George will start school in the new year. “Prince George will begin to attend the Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk before the end of January,” Kensington Palace announced today. Today in London, the royal family gathered to honor fallen soldiers during “Remembrance Sunday,” which takes place on the second Sunday of every November. Queen Elizabeth II led the tribute at the Cenotaph, an “empty tomb” to honor those whose remains did not make it home from battle. This year, Her Majesty was joined by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the British liberation of Holland. While Her Majesty, Prince Harry and Prince William laid poppy wreaths at the memorial, the Duchess of Cambridge watched from the balcony of government building Whitehall, alongside Maxima and the Countess of Wessex , who is married to the Queen’s youngest son, Prince Edward. Catherine wore a custom-made Alexander McQueen coat for the ceremony, according to What Kate Wore , along with pearl-drop earrings from jeweler Annoushka and a hat with delicate black netting. Remembrance Sunday is a pretty remarkable event; two minutes of silence are observed, the “Last Post” is played, and veterans march by the Cenotaph to remember those lost in battle. Last night, William and Catherine (wearing a lace dress by Dolce & Gabbana) joined the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Festival of Remembrance, also put on to honor veterans, which featured performances by Rod Stewart and Andrea Bocelli . The royal baby is officially on the grid! The brand-new Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge has been registered with a certificate of birth. Princess Charlotte , the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, is fourth in line for the throne after Princes Charles, William and George. Queen Elizabeth II, the reigning monarch, has been on the job for 61 years (!) with her son, grandson and now great-grandson waiting in the wings. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have formally registered the birth of Princess Charlotte,” a rep for Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The Duke of Cambridge signed the birth register at Kensington Palace this afternoon witnessed by a Registrar from Westminster Register Office.” Available to the public, the birth registration gives details on the princess’ entrance to the world, not that any of the details were at all a mystery. As you’ve likely heard, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s due date is fast approaching, and naturally, the UK press is going mad with anticipation. Apparently, some media outlets have been receiving official royal updates regarding when they should set up shop outside of St. Mary’s Hospital in London. That’s the location where, for the second time in less than two years, Kate is expected to welcome a newborn who will immediately have more titles than the Khaleesi. Possibly sooner than originally expected, too. Apparently, when Kate’s due date was first revealed several weeks ago, it was said to be April 20. Since then, the date has moved up to April 15, which can only mean one thing – the fall of the British Empire is at hand. We, kid! Don’t worry Canada, you’re still in good hands! In all likelihood, everything is going according to plan and a press secretary for the royals decided to play it safe in case the baby comes a few days early (as babies are wont to do). Still, some of the trashier overseas publications are having a field day with this news: Has Kate scheduled a c-section? Has her hyperemesis gravidarum acted up again, forcing doctors to induce labor? Is “hyperemesis gravidarum” hard to spell? The answers to those questions are “maybe,” “no,” and “you try it.” As far as we can tell, everything is going just fine with Kate and the world just needs to relax. We’re not clear on whether Prince George will be getting a little brother or sister this year, but we’re not alone in that regard. Neither are his parents! Kate Middleton or Prince William don’t know if they are having a boy or girl, and thus, any reports claiming to know their second child’s name are dubious. The palace tells E! News , “The couple do not know what the sex of the baby is!” So despite some reports saying that the Duchess of Cambridge is having a girl named Diana – an easy rumor to want to believe for many – it’s untrue. Or even if it is true that they’re considering it, they still don’t know it’s a girl yet. As for why Kate Middleton and her husband picked that name (supposedly), a source told celebrity gossip magazine OK! that it was an easy call. Diana got the nod since they “felt they needed to go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, and that had a lot of meaning to them.” Elizabeth has even more meaning … according to people gambling on this. Ladbrokes, a British-based gaming company, currently handicaps Diana at 12/1, while Elizabeth is the odds on favorite at 5/1 (and we love Britain). Whomever he or she may be, the Duchess, who is nearly seven months pregnant, told a 17-year-old girl last month that she can feel her baby kicking. “It’s moving all the time,” Kate said in January. “I can feel it kicking now.” The 33-year-old Middleton added that she didn’t know the sex of the baby back then either, hence her referring to little George’s future sibling as “it.” She and William, also 33, reportedly didn’t know if George would be a boy or girl either until that magical moment in the delivery room when the heir arrived.
