Source: Getty Images / Getty Sri Lanka Bombings Leaves Over 200 Dead Celebrations for Easter took a terrible turn in Sri Lanka when a string of explosions ended up leaving over 400 people injured and more than 200 dead. According to reports from BBC , eight bombs were placed in hotels and churches across the country, exploding on Sunday; The explosions appear to have taken place in or around the country’s capital of Colombo. The first attack was reported at Colombo’s popular St Anthony’s Shrine Catholic church, the second was carried out at the St. Sebastian’s church located north of the capital. This was followed by reports that a church in the neighboring town of Batticaloa had been hit. Three high-end hotels in Colombo were also bombed along with another nearby church. The final attack was reportedly carried out by a suicide bomber in a Colombo suburb. Authorities are still gathering information about these terrible incidents, but as of now, it’s being reported that more than 450 people were harmed and at least 207 people are confirmed dead–including 27 foreigners visiting the country. Investigators assume that these terrorist attacks were to target the country’s Christians since congregations were celebrating Easter when the explosions took place. Close to seven people have been arrested so far in connection to the events.

An emailed statement from Tinder cited users’ safety as a reason for removing George Zimmerman’s profile from the dating app platform after he used a fake name on the dating app. “At Tinder, we take our users’ safety very seriously, and our team has removed this profile from our platform. We utilize a network of industry-leading automated and manual moderation and review tools, systems, and processes — and spend millions of dollars annually — to prevent, monitor and remove bad actors who have violated our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use from our app.” Zimmerman was also previously banned from Bumble. The murderer used a fake name; “Carter” on his Tinder profile. Oliver Jordan, 21, posted his hospital bill on his Twitter account and the tweet has since gone viral. The full page of medical expenses totaled up to him owing the hospital $93,000 for attempting to take his own life. Although the Health Care Cost Institute reported from data collected since 2016 that the average cost of such a visit will run the patient $1,917, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health noted that many hospitals mark up this baseline cost by more than 1,000 percent in similar instances.

Gone are the fur coats, gowns and jewelry that typified the gospel and soul singer’s larger than life persona in recent years for the new film “Amazing Grace.” Instead, the then afro-sporting 29-year-old is stripped back and lets her voice do most of the talking. “This Aretha Franklin is a little bit different,” “Amazing Grace” producer Tirrell Whitley told BOSSIP. “She was just coming out of the 60s Black Power Movement, she’s wearing her afro….The experience of Aretha Franklin at the age of 29 at the peak of her power.” Franklin recorded the live performance in 1972 over two nights in a South Central L.A. church in front of an audience that included her father the Rev. C.L. Franklin, gospel greats Clara Ward and Mother Ward, the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts. Because the footage was shot out of sync, it sat in a vault for almost 40 years before a film company was able to sync the footage with the audio. Although the movie does have imperfections like out of focus shots, Whitley said that it was Franklin who pulls everything together. “The great thing is that the film had excellence in the making and her voice carries it through,” he said, adding that Franklin gave the film her blessing before she passed away last year aged 76. Whitley said the film is ideal for sororities, churches and other groups to screen. “This film takes you to church and it ministers to you in a unique way,” he said. “Amazing Grace” is now in theaters nationwide.

The ovaries are an important part of the female reproductive system. Their job is what got Jenelle Evans a job on the MTV hit show Teen Mom 2 . But now the 27-year-old is opening up about why one of her ovaries was recently removed while she underwent a surgical procedure to tie her tubes. The reality star answered fan questions via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and told one of her followers why she “only [got] one tube tied.” She explained, “When she tied the other my doc thought the blood supply might be cut off in the long run then die so she took it out completely.” Evans’ rep told Us Weekly on Saturday, April 13 that the TV personality was “healing” after getting surgery to have polyps and cysts removed and get her tubes tied . The North Carolina native later explained why she chose to go forward with the procedure. “I decided to get this procedure because I had a really bad problem of irregular bleeding, which led to ultrasounds then led to my OBGYN suggesting exploration surgery and tubes being tied,” she told the media outlet. “She told me my IUD made my lining very thin, which isn’t good. … I would have never known about any of this unless I had this procedure done.” “In the long run, it was the best decision for my health and gave me a lot of answers to many problems I was experiencing,” she said. One of her problems included her getting “very sick” while pregnant with her three children — Jace, 9, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2 — but she revealed that she is done having kids. “I am happy with the number of kids I have now,” she said in an interview with E! . The JE cosmetics founder’s husband David Eason, whom she married in September of 2017 , “was by her side” during her time in the hospital. Even though he couldn’t for the life of him understand what his wife was even having surgery on. After Jenelle’s procedure, David got her a surfboard as a get-well-soon gift to “get her back on her feet” — but when he shared the picture a fan asked if she had her tubes tied and he said um … no. Jenelle later cleared up her husband’s confusion and confirmed to her fans that she did indeed have her tubes tied. Throughout his decades as one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Johnny Depp has been praised for his chameleon-like ability to completely transform himself from one role to the next. Now, for his final act, Depp has apparently decided to morph from beloved screen idol into broke-ass self-saboteur who may or may not be guilty of viciously bullying the ex-wife he allegedly abused. Let’s back it up a bit to examine how Johnny managed to slice and dice his own public image like Edward Scissorhands with a bad case of the shakes from drinking $30,000 worth of wine a month . When Depp and Amber Heard finalized their divorce , they signed an iron-clad non-disclosure agreement that prevented either of them from speaking about the split publicly. Johnny went and screwed that up by filing a series of lawsuits that required the courts to dredge up all the nasty allegations against him. Most recently, he sued Heard for $50 million for discussing her experiences as an abuse survivor in a recent Washington Post op-ed. His lawyers came out swinging and alleged that Heard tried to cut Depp’s finger off during one particularly nasty fight. Amber’s team fired back with both barrels, leveling allegations both horrific (repeated tales of physical abuse directed at Heard) and hilarious (they claim Depp was so jealous of James Franco that he threw a tantrum for an entire cross-country flight). In addition to his battle against Heard, Depp is still suing his former lawyer Jake Bloom because — get this — Bloom advised Depp to settle with Heard out of court, as a messy court battle would do irreparable damage to his career. Apparently, when you’re rich enough, you can actually sue people for being right. Anyway, that case has also yielded a ton of messy revelations, including an account of Depp attempting to get Heard fired from her role in Aquaman . In her Washington Post piece, Heard claimed that she had been “blacklisted” in Hollywood following her split from Depp: “A movie I was attached to recast my role. I had just shot a two-year campaign as the face of a global fashion brand, and the company dropped me,” she wrote. “Questions arose as to whether I would be able to keep my role of Mera in the movies “Justice League” and “Aquaman.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, lawyers for Bloom intend to prove that Depp was behind that vicious campaign: “Sources familiar with the deposition requests say [Warner Bros. chairman Kevin] Tsujihara will be asked to testify under oath about whether or not he played a role in “blacklisting” Heard at Warner Bros.,” the outlet reports. “Depp, a star in the studio’s Fantastic Beasts franchise (he plays Grindelwald), is alleged to have personally lobbied Tsujihara to remove the actress from Aquaman and block her from getting other projects.” Yes, Bloom plans to get the former president of Warner Bros. — who was himself disgraced in a recent, Wenistein-esque “casting couch” scandal — to verify that Depp tried to destroy Heard’s career. And because we live in supremely f–ked up times, that might actually do more damage to Depp’s career than the allegations that he’s an abusive monster. An update on the boy’s condition was posted to the GoFundMe campaign set up by his family as he recovers. So far, the campaign has received roughly $900,000 in donations as of Friday afternoon. “We have good news to share with you all on this Good Friday! New test results have been positive, though he remains in intensive care with a long road ahead.” Landen was thrown nearly 40 feet to the ground on April 12, and 24-year-old Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda has been charged in the case. Emmanuel Aranda, who threw the boy over the balcony, told police he was mad about being rejected by women in the Minnesota mall, thus he was “looking for someone to kill.” SMH! Aranda has since been charged with attempted premeditated first-degree murder.

Eventually, the 21-year-old mom agreed to be a surrogate for the star and she’s currently pregnant with twins. She says K. chose her because twins run in the young lady’s family.
