Sooo…Diesel Chose Nicki Minaj For Anti-Bullying Campaign & People Have Questions

Source: Photo by C Flanigan/Getty Images / Getty Once again,  Nicki Minaj has the Twitter-verse riled up and this time a major fashion brand is connected to the chaos. Diesel recently announced that Nicki would be one of the faces for its Autumn/Winter 2018 “hate couture” campaign used to combat cyberbullying. Different stars, including Nicki, Gucci Mane , actress Bella Thorne and model Jonathan Bellini have been recruited for the campaign. In a video Diesel posted to their social media, the most hateful messages these stars have received on social media are etched into the design of their Diesel apparel. Thus Nicki’s shirt reads “The Bad Guy” (It’s still up for debate if people actually call her this or if she just gave herself the name herself). You don’t make online hate disappear by hiding it. Though the campaign seems to have good intentions, folks across the Internet couldn’t help but notice a tiny issue in the selection of stars. Nicki Minaj has been accused of some major bullying. The most notorious instance came when cultural critic and Twitter user Wanna Thompson critiqued the subject matters in Nicki Minaj’s music a few months back. Instead of starting a conversation on Twitter like Wanna had hoped, an army of Nicki-crazed Barbz came after Wanna like she was the village plague. “I wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy,” Thompson told The New York Times back in July. After Nicki fans came for Wanna’s life via social media, emails and even phone calls, Nicki herself contacted Wanna and it wasn’t pretty. She slid in Wanna’s DMs and called her everything but a child of God. “Eat a di** you hating ass h*” and “ugly ass” were just a few of the words Nicki aimed at Wanna. Sounds like a bully, no? When Wanna heard the news of Nicki’s Diesel campaign, she was just as confused. @DIESEL is making a mockery out of cyber-bullying. There are countless organizations and individuals doing their best to combat the issue and instead of enlisting them you get Nicki Minaj? So irresponsible and counterproductive. — Wanna (@WannasWorld) September 19, 2018 Then, let’s not forget the accusations Cardi B made about Nicki after their notorious run-in during New York Fashion Week. In an Instagram post, she accused Nicki of lying on her and telling other artist not to work with her.   Though it’s not certain that Cardi’s accusations are true, one has to ask what would provoke a woman enough to send her shoe flying across a fashion event. Nicki even gave Travis Scott a “Ho* Ni**a of the Week” award on her Queen radio show when she was critiquing his record sales and number one spot on the charts. Despite all this controversy, of course the Barbz still weren’t bothered… Nicki Minaj is a marketing genius! Sis really flipped this “Bad Guy” narrative and now has a Capsule Collection with Diesel that is going to inspire and uplift so many people who have been beaten down by the words of others. — Pink Queen Tingz (@pinkqueentingz) September 18, 2018 Even Diesel seemed to hold strong in their partnership with Nicki. “We’re here to support anyone who’s getting hated on, and Nicki is one of them,” Diesel wrote in response to some fan criticism. We’re here to support anyone who’s getting hated on, and Nicki is one of them. — Diesel (@DIESEL) September 19, 2018 Well if we’re going with that logic, anyone can be apart of this campaign! When should we expect our phone call? Other parts of the Internet were over the partnership as well. Hit the next pages to peep what folks had to say!

Kim and Khloe Kardashian Play the "Kylie Pregnancy Game"

Kim Kardashian apparently does not read The Hollywood Gossip. It provides us with some solace, however, to at least realize that she doesn't read the Internet at all . That's our main takeaway from this sneak peek at this Sunday's Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, as Kim confides with Khloe early on about the major secret everyone in the family has been tasked with… well… keeping. This secret is that Kylie Jenner is pregnant with Travis Scott's baby. “The funnest game ever is the Kylie pregnancy game, just to see what people think,” says Kim to her sister. “Like, there were pictures of her out on TMZ and she looked so skinny.” “I know, ’cause it’s the angle,” replied Khloe. “They got her from face-on. But if they got a side shot, it would have been over for her.” Yes, game over. The implication here is that no one outside of Kylie's very close circle is aware that she's expecting… … even though pretty much EVERYone was aware that Kylie was expecting. We helped break this news back in September , and we're pretty sure these Season 15 episodes were filmed in November or December. (Remember the fight Kim and Khloe got into with Kourtney about her not showing up for the Christmas card shoot?) Still, the family evidently believes that anyone outside of, like, Calabasas is clueless simply because Kylie herself had not confirmed her pregnancy at the time of filming. Later in this clip, Kim tells Jenner that her expecting state “has been the best-kept secret of our generation,” which is just an amazing quote. “I’m not trying to keep it secret,” Jenner says. “I’m really doing this for myself.” (Editor's Note: You were, by definition, keeping it a secret. The basis for said secret-keeping wasn't really the question here.) “Your friends deserve awards. Like, seriously,” Kim responds. “Now you know you have some real ones. That wouldn’t have happened in my day.” Jenner never actually addresses her situation until AFTER she gave birth, finally saying once Stormi Webster entered the world: I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

Bristol Palin Blasts Farrah Abraham: We Are NOTHING Alike!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Bristol Palin will be joining the cast of Teen Mom OG for the show’s upcoming eighth season. Bristol is one of two new cast members replacing the fired Farrah Abraham , the other being former The Challenge star Cheyenne Floyd. But Farrah has become desperate in her efforts to remain relevant as of late, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that she decided to launch an attack against the more high profile of her usurpers. Yes, for about a month now, Farrah has been talking smack about Bristol every chance she gets. And of course, she’s been favoring the old “why are you so obsessed with me?!” card and accusing Bristol of biting her style. Bristol appeared on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM show earlier this week, and the unhinged host showed little interest in vaccinating Palin from the infectious disease that is Farrah:  “Farrah had said something about you, saying, ‘She looks like she wants to be me,’” McCarthy said At first, Palin was sympathetic and allowed for the possibility that she and Farrah have suffered similar mistreatment by the press: “Girlfriend. I watch the show. I kind of felt bad,” she said about Abraham. “I know how it feels to be judged off the bat. I feel like I walk into a room and people just whisper.”  From there, Bristol went into mild shade-throwing mode, stating that she pities poor Farrah for the obvious difficulty she’s experiencing in her post-MTV life: “I watch the show. Maybe she’s just misunderstood. Poor girl, I feel so bad.” When McCarthy directly quoted Abraham as saying, “She’s trying to be me,” Palin finally lost it. “Girlfriend, you could not pay me to want to be anything like you,” Bristol said. “Honestly. No, I’m not trying to be like her.” From there, Bristol was off on a rant, confirming that those who have had actual interactions with Farrah share the opinion of those who have only watched her from afar — the girl is batsh-t crazy. “This is the only time I’m going to address it. I can’t stand people like that,” Bristol raged. “They are just searching for attention. So, it’s poke, poke, poke. No. You’re like that on the show because that’s how you are.” We didn’t think Farrah could sink any lower than she already had, but amazingly she’s found a way to look like the psychotic one in a feud with a freakin’ Palin. Diesel Thinks It’s A Good Idea To Make Nicki Minaj The Face Of A Cyber-Bullying Campaign. They Are Wrong.

(Photo credit should read ANGELA WEISS/AFP/Getty Images) Nicki Minaj And Diesel Get Dragged Well, someone in marketing is going to be looking for a job soon. The folks at Diesel have decided to put together an anti-bullying campaign using celebrities like Gucci Mane and…Nicki Minaj? Word? Either this is a big prank or one of the biggest mishaps in marketing history. Nicki Minaj has been accused of bullying during her entire career. She allegedly hopped in a woman’s DMs this summer, demeaning her. She’s been accused of sic’ing her army of maniacal fans on people who disagree with her and criticize her actions. She’s been called one of the biggest bullies in the game so this decision is…weird. Nicki is on an entire cyber bully campaign as if she not only got someone fired from their internship & but her fans have been harassing that woman even to this day with death threats, mean comments about her child, & trying to find out her address — diet stud (@dankbonn3t) September 19, 2018 Okay, it’s worse than weird. Take a look at Twitter’s reactions and they aren’t pretty.
