L ike no other presidential candidate in history, Donald Trump showed us exactly who he was during his hateful and divisive campaign. From attacking everyone from gold star families to the late John McCain to the “grab them by the p***y” scandal — but some women still decided to vote for Trump. SEE ALSO: Texas Cop Shoots Unarmed Black Man For Entering His Own Truck In a CNN sit down with female Trump supporters, there were regrets expressed about their vote. A panelist named Ally Bross said, “It starts with talking about women’s face lifts, I think. It’s disrespectful. I think the majority of women, I don’t think that they see him as a respectful pro-woman kind of man, especially people my age. In my age demographic, it’s a huge deal that he is not supportive of easily accessible women’s healthcare in terms of Planned Parenthood.” Another panelist named Annie Anthony said, “My fear with President Trump is that his extramarital affairs will make it more of a norm, that the children will think this is acceptable behavior and it’s not — it’s hurtful behavior.” The only Black woman on the panel claimed she will still vote for Trump. The Latina on the panel said she voted for him because of her Christianity—which is illogical. Trump’s immoral behavior was well known before the election. What world were they living in? Furthermore, everyone was warned about Trump, so how could there be any shock or regret? There was a proposal. A surprise appearance by an icon. And a reminder that Sandra Oh can be really funny. Indeed, the 2018 Emmy Awards have come and gone — but the moments listed below will be discussed and analyzed for weeks to come. Which was the weirdest? The most awkward? The funniest? Scroll down and relive each and every one now! 1. Betty White Was There! Betty White made a surprise appearance at the 2018 Emmys, soaking in a standing ovation and telling the crowd: “Somebody said something the other day about the first lady of television and I took it as a big compliment. And then I heard her talking to her daughter a little later, ‘Yeah, she’s that old. She was the first one way, way back!'” 2. Sandra Oh for 2019 Emmys Host? Oh is known for her dramatic roles, but she slayed while presenting alongside Andy Samberg, joking about her ex-boyfriend and about the whole La La Land disaster at the Oscars. 3. The Hosts with the Most… Racist Jokes? Colin Jost and Michael Che were mediocre at best, but Che made negative headlines for joking that white people do not thank Jesus in their speeches. “Admit it! This is not funny! Only racist haters like Emmys host Michael Che would say the only white people who thank Jesus at award shows are Republicans and ‘ex-crackheads,'” wrote one social media user in response. 4. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Won Outstanding Comedy Series We now take you live to Blackish star Anthony Anderson’s response… 5. Oh, Right, Someone Proposed! Glenn Weiss did something on stage never before done in awards show history. And we have the video to prove it! 6. Henry Winkler Wins! I was told by a film director or producer, I don’t remember who it was, but it could have been a random Nigerian scammer over email, it could have been fabricated in my head also you know… But I was told that Charlize Theron, after killing her father in South Africa, was sent to America on a work visa because she was a model to make it for the family. Her mom took the blame, said it was some domestic abuse bullshit as women do when their husbands kill them off, he was going to kill me, he probably diddled little Charlize cuz she was hot, and his sperm made her, so they killed him off…South Africa had bigger things to deal with at the time, so they let her go… While in LA, she was desperate, did Playboy to generate some buzz, but it wasn’t until meeting a producer in the line at the bank who said come to his office for a potential gig, where she offered to do anything for the job, pretty much anything…and boom…she became Charlize Theron and that’s the early stage of Hot Theron before she turned into this Oscar winning hard nippled old lady you still jerk off to. NurPhoto/Getty Chuck E. Cheese Patron Accidentally Shoots Himself We’re used to hearing about fist fights at Chuck E. Cheese, but the supposedly family friendly franchise—”where a kid can be a kid,” eat pizza, and play games—took child endangerment to new levels over the weekend. If the occasional beat down wasn’t enough to make you think twice about taking your chil’ren to the establishment, this latest story will definitely do it. A 22-year-old Tacoma, Washington patron needed to be hospitalized after he accidentally shot himself in the leg while inside the restaurant, causing both children and adults to panic, NY Post reports. Why he had a gun at Chuck E. Cheese of all places? No one knows. One father who was at the restaurant for a birthday party when the shot rang off said, “A bunch of people started running down towards the end and then they said somebody has a gun, so everybody starts running.” The restaurant was evacuated after the shot was fired and no other patrons suffered injuries, according to the site. As for the the young man who hurt himself, NY Post states: “The 22-year-old man was rushed to the hospital following the incident. He is expected to make a full recovery. Police added that the man brought his concealed-carry firearm into the restaurant legally, KOMO reported, but parents expressed outrage he took his gun inside the establishment in the first place, as it caters largely to children. A representative for Chuck E. Cheese was not immediately available for comment.” Hopefully, Chuck E. Cheese has a plan to increase security and ensure weapons are never brought onto the premises. It’s great that no one’s child was hurt, but the kids shouldn’t have been exposed to the firearm in the first place. Who said pre-Emmy Awards parties were boring and pointless? Okay, fine, no one has ever said much of anything when it comes to pre-Emmy Awards parties in general. But Tom Arnold and Mark Burnett did what they could to change that on Sunday night. According to multiple outlets, along with the participants themselves, Arnold got into a physical altercation with the reality show producer and his wife, Roma Downey, at a gathering in Los Angeles. Both sides have their own stories pertaining to what transpired, but Arnold was the first to Tweet about it just after midnight, writing: “Mark Burnett just went apes–t & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain. I’m waiting for LAPD.” About an hour later, however, Downey shared her own Twitter post and her own version of events. “Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event. Is your TV show worth it Tom?Please stop,” the actress wrote. Downey is referring here to “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes,” a series on Viceland that premieres on Tuesday night and which centers on Arnold’s search for various tapes that would embarrass or shame President Donald Trump. He has alleged in the past that tapes exist of Trump saying the N-Word during his time as Apprentice host — and that Burnett, as creator of that program, has helped bury them. In response to Downey’s above accusation, Arnold Tweeted the following early this morning: “Bullshit. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing a police report & suing you for defamation.” He reiterated this same threat on social media this afternoon: “Sitting in West LAPD filing charges against your best bud Apprentice Outtakes Mark Burnett who lost his mind, attacked & chocked [sic] me last nite at Katzenberg’s Night Before The Emmy’s Party. “Mark Burnett is scared:) #TrumpTapes.” Many people out there think Arnold is only taking these steps to stir up publicity for his show. A witness tells TMZ, for example, that Arnold attacked Burnett as soon as he saw the producer at the party. Burnett then pushed Arnold back, after which Arnold ripped Burnett’s crucifix off his neck, breaking the item in the process. The confrontation lasted about 30 seconds and everyone involved remained at the party afterward. Earlier in the day, Arnold told Salon.com that he wanted to approach Burnett at the Emmys ceremony in a confrontational manner; he also called the reality show creator a “pussy.” Arnold’s attorney, Marty Singer, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter today that the incident occurred. He claimed Burnett “attacked” his client, but said little else of relevance. Alyson Hannigan, who was also in attendance, Tweeted that the fight broke out in front of her. But she can’t say for sure who started it. “I thought it was a joke until security jumped in!” she wrote, adding that Survivor host Jeff Probst tried to jump in and break it up. Phew. At least Probst wasn’t hurt in the scuffle. Because, let’s face it: No one cares about Burnett or Arnold. But if Jeff Probst got injured in any way?!? We’d have a real problem on our hands.
As you've no doubt heard by now, Hurricane Florence thrashed the Carolina coast over the weekend, claiming several lives and leaving utter devastation in its path. As you may have also heard, Jenelle Evans decided not to evacuate ahead of the storm, despite the fact that local authorities implored everyone in her community to relocate to safer territory. Because she's responsible for three young children, Jenelle was rightly chastised for this decision on social media. And because her Russian roulette-like gamble didn't result in any deaths or serious injuries, she's currently doing a victory lap on Instagram. Of course, this is Jenelle we're talking about, so that victory lap involves fake guns and blatant lies. See what we mean in the gallery below … 1. Hurricane Queen She did it! Jenelle survived Hurricane Florence. So now, she can get back to doing what she does best — being obnoxious on social media. 2. That’ll Teach You to Be Compassionate! Jenelle went OFF on fans who dared to express their concerns for her family on social media. And now she’s out to prove that not only did she survive, she did it with flair. 3. Saint Jenelle Jenelle and her husband, David Eason, have taken to social media claiming that they’ve set about cleaning up their community and helping their neighbors. 4. All Talk? The only problem is, for all of David and Jenelle’s talk about rescuing those in need, they don’t seem to have actually done anything of value. 5. The Realization Jenelle was lucky in that her area wasn’t hit terribly hard, but many in nearby towns experienced profound devastation. 6. Turns Out Hurricanes Are Serious Yes, eventually, even Jenelle came to realize that hurricanes are nothing to be trifled with. Ironically, she then began doling out safety tips, even though she had attacked others for doing the same just hours earlier. View Slideshow
