That Awkward Moment When…A Reporter Asks Rih-Rih About Ashton Kutcher Chopping Her Down LIVE At A Battleship Press Conference! [Video]

O_o Reporter Asks Rihanna About Her Affair With Ashton Kutcher Admit it: Somewhere deep inside you, there’s a part of you that really wants to know whether Rihanna actually paid a 4 a.m. visit to Ashton Kutcher’s house (you wouldn’t have otherwise clicked on this article, hmm?). But such tabloid fodder rarely gets vocalized to a celebrity’s face, which makes this press conference with Rihanna, in London to promote her new film “Battleship,” all the more painful. In it, the “We Found Love” singer rips an intrepid reporter named “Sarah,” who dares question the nature of RiRi and Kutcher’s relationship. Asks Sarah: “You’re so good with connecting with people, that I think that we actually feel we know you. Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life. Will we be seeing a certain Mr. Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?” Damn, some balls on this broad! Curren$y Nabs Pharrell, 2 Chainz For The Stoned Immaculate

Wale, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Daz will also appear on forthcoming album, Spitta tells MTV News By Rob Markman Curren$y Photo: MTV News Throughout his career, Curren$y has kept his collaborations organic, bypassing flavor-of-the-month rap features. And on his upcoming Warner Bros. album The Stoned Immaculate, he will continue to do so, even if the names in the LP’s credits get a little bigger. When the NOLA MC drops his next album later this year, fans can look forward to beats from Pharrell , J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, DJ Toomp and Virginia producer Bink, who famously crafted a number of tracks for Jay-Z’s 2001 classic The Blueprint. “This is a different look than anything I’ve usually done,” Curren$y told MTV News. “Usually I work with one person, or try to keep it to just, like, two producers on a project.” On 2010’s Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk 2, Curren$y worked mostly with Ski Beatz, and on his 2011 Weekend at Burnie’s, he tapped Monsta Beatz to take the production helm. Now Curren$y is ready to branch out. “Bink produced ‘What It Look Like,’ ” Curren$y said in reference to The Stoned Immaculate ‘s first single, featuring Wale. “Pharrell produced a joint for me. Daz did two joints and rapped on one of them for me. “It’s a mutual thing. I only work with people who I have a real conversation with and nothing is forced,” he continued. Curren$y’s not only recruiting big-name producers for his next LP, he also hooked up with some pretty notable MCs. “I got 2 Chainz on my album,” he revealed, noting that he was friends with the Atlanta star back when he used to go by his original rap name in the early 2000s. “Me and 2 Chainz been cool since it was me and Tity Boi was cool.” Now that Curren$y is the head of his own record company, Jet Life Recordings, he feels he has to use his relationships to his advantage. “It’s not that I did different and reached out, I kinda cashed in on my friendships,” he said. “I’m trying to get more attention towards my crew … I have to draw more eyes and play ball to make it easier for everybody else.” Which collaborations do you anticipate most on Curren$y’s The Stoned Immaculate ? Lindsay Lohan Nabs ‘Glee’ Role

One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ rumored for Fox comedy, which will also feature Whoopi Goldberg. By Jocelyn Vena Lindsay Lohan Photo: FilmMagic Lindsay Lohan is confirmed to make an appearance on “Glee.” The announcement comes in a wave of casting news for the hit Fox comedy, which includes a spot for comedian and talk-show host Whoopi Goldberg. A rep for Lohan confirmed the casting to E! News . In a May episode of the show, Lohan is rumored to be onboard to play herself as a judge at Nationals. Lindsay’s mother, Dina, once took issue with the show for poking fun at her after the show included a scene in which Katie Couric informed Jane Lynch’s character, Sue Sylvester, that she beat out Dina and her dog Sparky to make the list of the “world’s biggest losers.” Dina had said, “It’s a shame as the dance numbers are amazing, but the writers need to be nice and more creative as opposed to being hurtful.” Lohan has recently been making strides to get back into the acting spotlight. She hosted “Saturday Night Live” this season and is in talks to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in a small-screen biopic. As for Goldberg, she’ll be in three episodes in May, playing a New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts professor (Carmen Tibideaux) who travels to Ohio to meet with Kurt and Rachel about possible acceptance into the school. In other “Glee” news, rumor has it One Direction might be following in the Wanted’s footsteps , getting covered on the show. Matthew Morrison reportedly told the Sun that the cast will be covering the boy band’s single, “What Makes You Beautiful.” “I’ve just heard of them, they’re really taking over the States,” Morrison said. “We are covering one of their songs on ‘Glee’: ‘What Makes You Beautiful.’ I need to YouTube it to practice.” A rep for the band hadn’t responded to MTV News’ request for confirmation by press time. Justin Bieber’s ‘Boyfriend’ Poised For Big Debut

The lead single off Believe could sell 400,000 downloads in its first week. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: WireImage He’s beloved by millions of teenage girls who already think of him as their “Boyfriend,” and now Justin Bieber ‘s edgier track seems poised to be one of the teen star’s biggest hits yet. According to Billboard, the song, which dropped Monday, could sell upwards of 400,000 downloads in its first week, giving it a big push on next week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. This would give the singer his best sales week for a song to date in his career. His biggest thus far belongs to “Never Say Never,” which moved 199,000 downloads in its first week, eventually peaking at #5 on the Digital Songs chart. Based on the estimates for his Hot 100 debut (which takes into account radio airplay, sales and streaming data), Bieber could land in the top five going into next week. So far, his most ubiquitous track, “Baby,” is also his highest debut on the Hot 100, having landed at #5 in 2010. It seems that radio is also embracing the lead Believe single . While Bieber has always had a large fanbase and solid record sales, radio airplay has eluded him a bit. But Billboard further reports that this song could land him in a solid place on the Pop Songs top 10 based on early airplay. So far, he’s only managed to land at #14 in 2009 with “One Time” and #16 with “Baby.” “Boyfriend” was co-produced and co-written by Mike Posner, who explained to MTV News that they always intended to make a song that would shift Bieber’s career from tween heartthrob to legitimate pop star. “I think our goal was to make something that me and my friends could listen to in the car,” Posner explained. “I think we’ve all known Justin since he was 13, and that’s not the kid I was in the studio with anymore. He’s an 18-year-old. He skateboards with Lil Wayne and hangs out with Lil Twist. Those are his homies. And he listens to hip-hop and he’s a really cool kid. He’s not like a corny guy.” Related Videos Happy Birthday, Justin Bieber! Related Photos Justin Bieber’s Birthday: Celebrating 18! Related Artists Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber Takes A ‘Leap’ With ‘Boyfriend’

‘He’s an incredible, incredible writer and amazing vocalist,’ producer Mike Posner tells MTV News about Bieber’s new single. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Getty Images Justin Bieber dropped his bumping new single “Boyfriend” on Monday (March 26), teasing his next album, Believe. It’s a grinding, midtempo song that hears Bieber proclaiming all the ways he can make a girl happy (swag and fondue included!). Co-produced and co-written by “Cooler Than Me” singer Mike Posner, the song shows growth from Bieber’s “Baby” days. When MTV News caught up with Posner last week, he told us what it was like to hit the studio with Bieber (and co-producer and co-writer Mason Levy) for the track. “I’ve known [Bieber’s manager] Scooter [Braun] for a few years, so I actually ran into Scooter at a Clippers game and told him I would love to work with Justin,” Posner said. “I got the opportunity to write with Justin. I didn’t really know what to expect at first, but he’s an incredible, incredible writer and amazing vocalist. “Because I’m an artist myself, I can be pretty selective on who I produce for and who I make beats for … and really what I’m looking for is an amazing vocalist, somebody that can sing better than I can,” he continued. “And the other thing is somebody that’s willing to not try to make something that succeeds within the matrix of what pop music is now, but makes something that moves that matrix to where it is, and Justin was willing to take that leap with me.” Bieber spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show hours after the song’s world premiere Monday, explaining why this was the perfect track to kick off the Believe era. “It was a really hard choice. I mean, we had so many songs, so many uptempos we could release, [that] I thought, ‘Let’s slow it down,’ ” he said, adding that there are already plenty of fast songs all over the radio. “It’s just something a little bit more mature, but it’s also something I think I’m ready for.” While fans and industry insiders had been wondering what a more grown-up Bieber would sound like, he said he tried to block out all the noise when making the track. “There’s so many people that are going to give me opinions, but I’m the only one who can ultimately make those decisions, because I’m going to have to live with my career for the rest of my life. So I thought this was the perfect single,” he said, adding that this song “was me all the way; it is a representation of me.” And Bieber said “Boyfriend” perfectly sets up what’s coming next. “It’s kind of classic,” he said of the album. “The songs, I feel, won’t get old. The music is very fresh, but it’s also — I’m taking a lot from old-school music, a lot of Michael Jackson, a lot of old R&B, a lot of old pop. It’s pretty special.” What do you think of “Boyfriend”? Justin Bieber Ripe For Spoofing, ‘Stevie TV’ Star Says

‘Guys are like, ‘I don’t know what it is, but you’re really hot,’ comedian Stevie Ryan says of playing the teen superstar on VH1 show. By Christina Garibaldi Justin Bieber Photo: Barry King/ FilmMagic Stevie Ryan may make fun of Justin Bieber on her new VH1 show “Stevie TV,” but the actress and the pop star actually have something cool in common: They were both discovered on YouTube. Ryan began her career impersonating celebrities and creating her own characters on her YouTube channel and instantly became an Internet star. Now the 26-year-old comedian gets to do her routines on VH1, portraying some of today’s biggest celebs and reality TV stars. “It’s just a female’s perspective on pop culture, really, at least that’s the way I think about it,” Ryan told MTV News on Tuesday. “It’s really just kind of making fun of pop culture, what’s happening in it, just making fun of these celebrities that are rewarded for bad behavior.” So far on “Stevie TV,” Ryan has created a music video that mocks Katy Perry ‘s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F),” gotten into character as Lady Gaga and done some cross-dressing to get into one of her favorite roles, Justin Bieber. Ryan explained that Bieber has been the most fun to play “because I always tell everybody how guys and girls always like me when I’m Justin Bieber. … Girls are like, ‘You’re so cute, like, are you really a girl ?’ And then guys are like, ‘I don’t know what it is, but you’re really hot.’ But I really like playing everybody,” she laughed. And though she may poke fun at celebrities, Ryan said she’s really a fan of most of the stars … except maybe one. “I just thought, ‘What a great way to kind of show that this is what the younger generation is growing up with, that who little girls like, is Kim Kardashian,’ ” Ryan said. “It’s just observing these weird behaviors and finding a place for them that makes sense because you can always make fun of Kim Kardashian — she has a big butt, she made a sex tape — but at the same time you have to step back and look at the big picture; people are actually wanting to be like this.” As for future episodes, Ryan really wants to impersonate a certain Young Money rapper. “I would like to do Nicki Minaj,” Ryan revealed. “There’s nothing that I want to make fun of about her, because I’m obsessed with her and I really, really love her.” Asked if she’s gotten any backlash yet for the sometimes harsh jokes on her show, Ryan said she hasn’t, but she’s ready if it comes her way. “It hasn’t happened before and I’d give a flying f— about what any of them have to say,” Ryan said. “Because I’m just doing my job just like they are and so whatever, if anyone has anything to say, bring it!” “Stevie TV” airs Sundays at 11 p.m. ET on VH1. L’Arc En Ciel’s Madison Square Garden Show Is A ‘Turning Point’

Rock band will become first Japanese act to headline MSG on Sunday, which frontman Hyde calls ‘highlight’ of a 20-year career. By James Montgomery Hyde of L’arc en Ciel Photo: MTV News On Sunday, Japanese art-rock act L’Arc en Ciel — French for “the rainbow,” naturally — will make history when they become the first band from their homeland to headline a show at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden. The show, part of the band’s 20th anniversary world tour, was originally scheduled for the much smaller Theater at MSG, but due to overwhelming demand from their long-suffering Stateside fans — L’Arc have played just one North American show in their two decades of existence, a 2004 gig at an Otaku convention in Baltimore — organizers moved it to the venerable Garden arena. And for a band that has had approximately zero promotion here in the U.S., it is understandably a very big deal, as frontman Hyde told MTV News (via translator) on Friday (March 23). “This is huge for our band to perform at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, so I want to make sure we give you the very best show for the American audience. … I want to take the very best of everything we’ve done in Japan and put it in this show,” Hyde said. “It’s so hard for a Japanese act to be successful in America, but we were given this opportunity, so that means there is a possibility for us to break in the American market. I definitely feel lucky to be here after 20 years as a band.” And for Hyde, who grew up listening to “L.A. metal … Guns N’ Roses and M
