Decked out in slick black slacks and black shirt, Levine took the stage with his band to perform “Daylight” before Alicia Keys joined them and the duo. Alicia killed it on the drums. Lindsay Lohan is desperately trying to hire a new defense attorney, despite having fired Shawn Holley and replaced him with Mark Heller just weeks ago. The actress reportedly ” despises ” Heller, prompting her to hunt for another replacement. Finding one may prove a difficult task for her, however. “Lindsay has been on the phone calling criminal defense attorneys in Los Angeles trying to hire someone new to represent her,” a source revealed. “She called four other top DUI attorneys, and every one turned her down … one even had his assistant call Lindsay back and say he wasn’t interested.” Lindsay Lohan fired Shawn Holley , her longtime lawyer, earlier this month and was represented by Heller on Wednesday; her next court date is in March. The 26-year-old faces charges of lying to police following her summer car crash in L.A., as well as the probation violation this may have triggered. “Lindsay is absolutely stunned that this is happening to her,” the source said about the train wreck being turned down repeatedly by top lawyers. “The [legal community has] a tremendous amount of respect for Shawn Holley, and they know that Lindsay owes her hundreds of thousands of dollars.” “Therefore they want nothing to do with her.” Some of the lawyers view representing LiLo as more trouble than its worth, the source said, and believe she will regret firing Holley for a long, long time. Even Judge Stephanie Sautner seemed to suggest as much, asking her if she really wanted to drop Holley in favor of Heller at this stage of the game. Lindsay said: “Yes, for today.” Sautner told her this action was not just for Wednesday but going forward. Lindsay tersely replied, “yes, going forward.” Somewhat ironically, it’s Heller’s love for publicity and media that is “highly irritating” to Lindsay, the source told celebrity gossip site Radar Online . “[Holley’s] rule was to just lay it all out in court, and leave it at that,” the source said. “Mark had a press conference after he met with prosecutors in the case.” Heller previously had his law license suspended five years for misconduct; even Michael Lohan has spoken out forcefully against Heller representing Lindsay. It seems to be quite unclear why he was even hired, but so be it now. Sautner set a pretrial hearing for March 1; Lindsay is not required to be in court if her counsel appears. Lindsay Lohan was a complete mess on the set of The Canyons over the summer – even by her standards – according to a writer embedded in the indie production. Stephen Rodrick, who says he was allowed to chronicle the project, says he saw a seemingly drunk LiLo get in her car and drive off set after a boozing session. According to Rodrick, Lohan was out of control , acting like an utter disaster and initially fired from The Canyons after blowing off two days of filming. Rodrick says Lohan showed up outside the director’s hotel room, pounding on the door, hysterically crying and begging for her job back – for 90 MINUTES. Eventually, she was hired back … but things only got worse . Lohan began constantly criticizing producers and her co-stars, and got drunk before shooting a scene in which she would be simulating a four-way sex scene. After the scene, which featured real-life porn stars, producers offered Lindsay a hired car to drive her home … but she refused and drove off in her Porsche. According to Rodrick, whose report was publicized by TMZ this afternoon, producers “all hoped they would still have a lead actress in the morning.” In the article, Rodrick says Lindsay Lohan freaked about another sex scene in which she was supposed to get naked … and locked herself in a closet. Rodrick says the director had to beg her to do the scene and even stripped naked himself and had the crew do the same to show her it was no big deal. The gimmick worked, and Lohan filmed the 14-minute sex scene. Unfortunately, the hits just kept on coming, however. Lindsay partied with Lady Gaga one night until 5:30 a.m., when she had a 6:00 a.m. call time. She showed up at 9 a.m., but left soon after a doctor said she was too sick to film. The biggest names in country music assembled in Las Vegas for the 2012 American Country Awards last night, and the night belonged to Luke Bryan and his NINE awards. Luke won Male Artist of the Year and overall Artist of the Year, plus many other honors. Carrie Underwood (pictured) and Lady Antebellum (featuring the pregnant Hillary Scott ) took home the top female and group artist categories, respectively. Randy’s throwin’ a lot of shade at all of the other music competitions out there, and in the latest promo released, he runs us through a list of successful artists who got their start on Idol . According to The Hollywood Reporter , he may have a point… The latest American Idol season 12 promo featuring Randy Jackson continues to hammer the theme that the Fox competition is the “gold standard … of singing shows” having produced more artists who have sold “millions sellers of records.” To solidify its point, a checklist of successful Idol alums — Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Clay Aiken, Fantasia, Ruben Studdard, David Cook, Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks and Scotty McCreery (curiously, no Adam Lambert??) — is flashed across the screen. “We have a country superstar in Carrie Underwood. We’ve had an Oscar winner in Jennifer Hudson, I mean, you’ve got Daughtry,” Jackson said. “Look what Phillip Phillips has done this year with the song ‘Home.’” Jackson drives the point home with his final thoughts as Phillips’ sales records of 2 million are illustrated across his image. “The show has truly permeated the whole world of entertainment,” he said. “We are the original. On October 8th, 2012, we were lucky enough to meet our idol, Justin Bieber. It all started back in June 2012 when Katie’s mom took her out of class she we could buy tickets to Believe tour. We ended up buying 2 Meet & Greet passes with seats in Row 2! I ran all over the school at lunch time yelling that we will be able to meet Justin, a total dream come true! The total cost was $427.50 each, but we knew it was going to be all worth it. On October 5th, we drove 431 miles from Sandpoint, Idaho to Portland, Oregon to see the concert. We woke up on on 10/8/12 and started preparing for what was going to be THE MOST amazing night of our lives! The VIP Members needed to be at the front gate at 3:30 so we got on the train at 3 and headed to the Rose Garden, but the train broke down and we were 15 minutes late. When we got to the arena we ran all over the place looking for security who could get us in. Finally we found Ryan, the VIP coordinator, who got us our M&G lanyards, wristbands and tickets. We stood in line for about 15 minutes and all of a sudden I turn around and see Dan Kanter walking by. I scream (which I realized was not very chill or mature) and I say “OMG! SAMI THAT’S DAN!” Then he comes over to our group and starts talking about how he saw the Carrie Underwood concert and just starts talking with everyone. Sami and I walk up to him and just ask if we could take a picture with him. After we took the picture we waited in like and talked to a girl we met named Ashley (@AshleyW113). The line started moving and we were so close to the front! We saw Kenny and he held the black curtain open for us as we walked in. Then we saw Fredo and as we turned, our eyes fell on Justin! He was so beautiful and the the nicest complexion. The best part: HE SMELLED AMAZING. We don’t think we have ever smelled a man as good as him before. Justin says, “Hey Ladies, how’s it going?” and Sami was like, “GOOOD.” Then we took a picture with him and he wrapped his arms around our waists and pulled us really close. He was very tiny in general but was just so warm and soft. We then said our very quick goodbyes and as we walked out of the M&G room we were handed the Believe album on vinyl and it was signed by none other than our idol, Justin Bieber! To be honest, it was VERY quick and we were maybe with him for a good 30 seconds but it was THE BEST moment of our lives. We were then sent outside to wait in a line for a good 30 minutes before being let back into the arena, and then to our seats. We went right to our spots which were right on the cat walk and we could touch the stage! Cody Simpson (Sami’s total and complete crush) opened for Justin and he has completely changed out lives. We love EVERYTHING about him now. His dance moves were beyond orgasmic and we were on the verge on crying. As he performed, he came by and touch our hands. We died. Then Carly Rae Jepsen performed and she is the cutest thing we have ever seen, her style, her personality, her face. Absolutely adorable! During her performance Carly personally grabbed Sami’s hand and shooked it for 5 seconds and I was barely able to get my hand in there last second. She is just fantastic! Then Justin came on and everything about his show was INCREDIBLE! Right from the start, the hottest black backup dancer came and touched our hands! When he performed “She Don’t Like The Lights,” we totally went crazy! We didn’t love that song in the beginning but after the dancing and the whole stage set up, WE LOVE THAT SONG. When we came out with the piano for “Believe,” it was so beautiful, at the end all the dancers came out and sat right in front of us and the girl from ALAYLM that dances with Justin, she winked and genuinely smiled at us then touched our hands when she got up! I balled my eyes out during the end of “Believe” when the golden halo of fireworks came out. At that moment, it was like everything that I have ever wanted in my life came true! During the whole concert though this 9 year old girl kept asking questions like, “Justin is left handed right?” and at one point when I was totally mind blown she said, “Wow! Justin really has affected your life. I can see why you love him so much!” At the end of the concert, the one backup dancer with the long blond hair that dances with Justin during “Boyfriend” came out into the audience and as she walked by us I said, “You are a great dancer and you really inspire me to perform like you.” She said, “Thank you so much!” The night was overall the best concert ever, the best night ever and it included some of the best people on this planet! It’s been known for days, but now it’s official: Hector “Macho” Camacho was taken off life support this morning and passed away from injuries he suffered in a shooting earlier this week. He was 50 years old. The multiple-time world champion had not fought since 2010 and had also been involved in a number of run-ins with the law over recent years, from burglary charges to domestic abuse allegations. On Tuesday morning, he and a long-time friend were driving along a road in Bayoman, Puerto Rico when another vehicle pulled up alongside them. Those in the other car fired shots at Camacho and the driver, instantly killing the latter and striking the former in the head and neck. He was rushed to the hospital, where Camacho suffered a heart attack and doctors soon determined he was brain dead. Family members have been by his side the rest of the week and finally decided this morning to take him off life support. The police are looking into the incident, which may have been drug-related, but thus far have no suspects.
