As TMZ reported, after Diddy posted an intimate shot of Cassie on his IG story Friday & Saturday night, Cassie took to Instagram to post a photo of her own. Unfortunately for Diddy it was of her locking lips with a new boo. Cassie appears to have moved on with a younger man. It’s Uuclear if this was in direct response to that, but Cassie seems to be sending a message of her own. The mystery bae has been identified as fitness and health guru Alex Fine. Fans were optimistic that the longtime lovers would link back up after Cassie was seen with Diddy shortly after Kim Porter died last month. But it now looks like that reunion was just moral support though, as the two haven’t been seen together since and haven’t given any indication that they’d rekindle their 10-year romance.

Art Project To Highlight Black History And Culture In Los Angeles

A new art project on the West Coast will visually capture the essence of Black history and culture in Los Angeles. Local political officials recently announced that 1.3 miles of Crenshaw Boulevard will be transformed into an artistic space that highlights how African Americans are embedded in the fabric of L.A., the LAist reported. It will feature larger-than-life murals, monuments, outdoor spaces and other elements that will bring stories about the Black experience in Los Angeles to life. Local political leaders believed that it was important to bring the achievements of the Black community in L.A. to the forefront. The city has evolved into a melting pot and they don’t want the contributions of African Americans to be forgotten. “The hope is that [people] understand that L.A., among other things, is quintessentially a Black city,” Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson told the news outlet. “In the same way that it’s a Latino city, in the same way it’s a Jewish city, in the same way that it’s a Japanese city. The stories of black people in this town are central to what this town is, and what it continues to develop into.” Harris-Dawson wanted to find a way to preserve the street art that already exists in Crenshaw, but add more elements to it so that it can serve as a learning tool for visitors and future generations. He also hopes that the buzz surrounding Destination Crenshaw will create an increase in more locally-owned innovative businesses in the area. The renderings for the project—which has been backed by Los Angeles natives Nipsey Hussle and Issa Rae —were revealed this month. The Destination Crenshaw team has already enlisted the help of local artists to contribute their work. The project will break ground in 2019 and is slated to be completed in 2020. Source: Netflix / Netflix Sandra Bullock Reveals What The “Bird Box” Creatures REALLY Looked Like Chances are you’re one of the 45,037,125 Netflix users (or one of the millions of friends and fam using someone else’s account) that caught Bird Box over the last week , chances are you’ve at least had a passing curiosity about what the entity that had the world on tilt would look like if you dared remove your blindfold and take a peek. Welp, now we have an answer. A deleted scene from the hit flick was set to show the creature in question over Sandra Bullock’s shoulder…but it didn’t make the film’s final cut. Screenwriter Eric Heisserer told Bloody Disgusting that producers pushed him to include a scene that showed the creature to the audience, though that was NOT the original plan. “There was a time when one of the producers was like, ‘No, you have to see something at some point’ and forced me to write essentially a nightmare sequence where Malorie experiences one in that house.” But according to lead actress Sandra Bullock …the end effect was more comical than chilling: “It was a green man with a horrific baby face. It was snake-like, and I was like, ‘I don’t want to see it when it first happens. Just bring it into the room. We’ll shoot the scene.’ I turn and he’s like this [growling at me.] It’s making me laugh. It was just a long fat baby.” A fat green baby-man. Is that what you were picturing? Either way, after dedicating hours of shoot time to this dud of a scene, director Susanne Bier decided to scrap it, noting that not only was it unintentionally hilarious, but it turned the movie into something else entirely. Besides, the point was that everyone saw something personal that drove them to compulsively end it all. “It so easily becomes funny. We actually shot that and spent a lot of energy on, but every time I saw it, I was like this is not going to be tense. It’s just going to be funny. At first, Sandy was like, ‘I don’t want to see it’ because she thought it was scary. Then it was like, ‘Don’t show it to me because [I’ll laugh].’ Every time I did it, I was like, ‘Sh*t, that’s a different film.’” We think it worked much better as it was. What do you think? Bre Payton, Fox News Commentator, Dies at 26

Bre Payton, a writer for the Federalist and a contributor for Fox News, died on Friday in San Diego. She was 26 years old. Details are still coming in and the exact cause of death is unknown at the moment. “Bre Payton, our beloved staff writer for The Federalist, passed away on Friday in San Diego, California, following a sudden illness,” the online magazine wrote in a statement published on its website last night. The publication added that it was “heartbroken and devastated” over the news, continuing: “Bre brightened the lives of everyone around her,” this same statement said. “She was joyful, hard-working, and compassionate, and she leaves behind friends and colleagues for whom she brought nothing but sweetness and light. Payton also worked for One America News, a conservative outlet on which she would occasionally fill in as a guest host. Discussing the details surrounding Payton’s death, California-based congressional candidate Morgan Murtaugh said she found Payton unresponsive on Thursday and called 911. She then learned the fate of her friend the following day. “Thank you everyone for your prayers,” Murtaugh tweeted, adding: “It is with a heavy heart that I type this. Unfortunately Bre has passed. Please send prayers to her family. Rest in paradise you beautiful soul.” Prior to her passing, Payton was battling the flu and “possibly meningitis,” according to a profile on CaringBridge.org, USA Today reported. Following the tragic news of her death, a number of political figures expressed their sympathy on social media. Here is Meghan McCain, for instance: Ben and I are absolutely gutted and horrified by this news. Our prayers for @Bre_payton and her family. We are less vibrant without her— in every possible way. A wonderful, fearless, vibrant, intelligent young woman. Sending prayers to all of her family and friends during this darkness. Fox News host Shannon Bream also spoke out on Payton’s death writing, “I cannot believe this” and expounding as follows: @Bre_payton was such a beautiful light, smart and funny and kind and talented. Please pray for her broken hearted loved ones, who are undoubtedly reeling. She was far too young. Payton graduated from Patrick Henry College in 2015 with a degree in journalism, according to The Federalist. She joined the news outlet shortly after and quickly moved up to a political commentator featured on Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel and OANN. The late journalist is survived by her parents George and Cindy Payton as well as her siblings James, Jack, Christina and Cheekie. May she rest in peace. On January 1, many low-income workers in the US will be getting a raise. Minimum wage increases go into effect on or around New Year’s Day in 21 states and 19 cities, according to data collected by the nonprofit National Employment Law Project . Approximately half of these places will see an increase due to a one-time bill passed by voters or legislators that requires a wage hike. For example, Arkansas voters approved an initiative last year to increase the minimum wage to $11.00 an hour by 2021, which begins with an increase to $9.25 on Jan. 1, from what stands at $8.50 now. Other states will increase wages due to laws that require the minimum to increase with the cost of living like in Florida, where the minimum will go up from $8.25 to$8.46 to match inflation. Other states raising the minimum wage include New York, Rhode Island, Delaware, Colorado, and Arizona. It’s not only states that are making this change, though. Of the 13 cities that will increase the minimum wage on January 1, 10 are in California. Cities across CA, particularly those near Silicon Valley, are raising the minimum wage in the hopes that it will help lower-income workers get by in the growingly expensive area. As Quartz points out, economists continue to disagree about the impact of minimum-wage increases. In some cases, they have found that higher wages decrease the number of jobs available, as certain employers would rather not have another staff member than pay the minimum salary. Other studies have found that it has little effect on the number of jobs available, with few employers unable to pay the minimum.

Scott that said Kevin Hunter, Wendy Williams’ husband of two decades was allegedly having an outside baby with his mistress. Now, Wendy is denying the claims. Through a cease and desist letter received by Love B. Scott from Wendy’s lawyers; Wendy and Kevin both say the outside baby story is a farce. Love B. Scott shared a quote from the lawyer that denied the claims altogether. Her lawyer sent us a cease and desist letter the day after Christmas (with typos) demanding a retraction for our previous exclusive about her alleged self-medication and rumors her husband Kevin got his mistress pregnant. The letter states that both “Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your “sources”, even if not specifically enumerated herein.” Alright. In the same story, Love B. Scott says that the future of Wendy’s famous daytime talk show is shaky. Although Wendy’s show was renewed for next season, their source confirmed that concerns over Wendy’s health are clouding chances for any further renewal. Two weeks ago, Wendy was seen slurring her word s on an episode and looking confused. She attributed her odd behavior to taking pain medication after fracturing her upper arm. Apparently, this might have Wendy looking at an early retirement.
