The ugly divorce between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was settled long ago, but the brutal abuse allegations still weigh on the minds of fans. Now, new and lengthy court documents have come to light from their 2016 depositions. These papers shed new light on Amber and Depp’s claims. The Hollywood Reporter got a hold of some transcripts from Amber Heard’s 2016 deposition. 2016 was when Amber and Johnny divorced, and when the world learned of Depp’s years of alleged domestic violence. Though the accusations became public, along with upsetting testimony from eyewitnesses, much was kept under wraps during the divorce. Amber and Depp compromised by releasing a joint statement, affirming that neither of them intended to hurt the other, and that neither of them lied. Even when text messages surfaced appearing to show that Depp’s team knew about the alleged abuse, the exes largely moved on. But now, through these court documents, we know more. “Johnny and I refer to his other personality, the part of him that is present when he beats me up,” Amber said in her 2016 deposition. “We call that the monster,” Amber revealed. “And have called [that] the monster for years.” The total length of the deposition was 471 pages. Amber admitted: “I was petrified of the monster.” Within the deposition, Amber recalls an incident in which Depp, then her husband, allegedly attacked her. She describes him hurling her phone at her “as hard as he could,” striking her in the face. Amber says that he grabbed her by her hair during this alleged explosion of violence, prompting her to scream out for help. She recalled that, during the incident, Depp “broke a lot of glass things that left glass on the floor.” In addition to the shards of glass, she described the room being littered with silver candlesticks and a lamp. Though this is far from the first story of Depp trashing a room, this story is far more alarming. Amber Heard’s testimony is not the only voice within the deposition. There was testimony from the Los Angeles Police Department officers who responded to the incident. Raquel Pennington, Amber’s close friend, revealed in testimony that she had been in the adjacent apartment. She testified that she had come to Amber’s penthouse at her request, where Amber told her that she had been hit in the face with a phone. Raquel testifies to having witnessed Depp swing around a bottle and knock items off of countertops, and to have heard him yelling. She says that it was only Depp’s security’s arrival that diffused the situation, as they convinced him to leave. She also says that she had taken “dozens” of photos of Amber’s bruises over the years. As you may recall, there was a great deal of backlash over Johnny Depp’s casting in The Crimes of Grindelwald . So much so that some lifelong Harry Potter fans boycotted the film, and some took to calling it “The Crimes of Johnny Depp.” Depp was clearly and openly frustrated that people insisted upon bringing up the serious accusations of domestic violence against him. Some believe that this is why, in September of 2018, Johnny Depp suddenly made accusations of his own against his ex-wife. He claimed that Amber had punched him in the face, twice. Within the 2016 deposition, Amber was asked if she had ever been violent towards Depp. In 2016, when Amber Heard was asked if she had ever struck, slapped, or thrown an object at Depp, she answered. She said that she “did her best” to defend herself against her larger, stronger husband during his alleged violent outbursts. Domestic violence, particularly during a divorce, can be a complicated issue. Some victims may defend themselves. Some abusers may accuse their victims of having started it all. With celebrities, waters are further muddied simply because one star’s fans may be more outspoken than another’s. As any of us who’ve viewed any comments sections have discovered to our chagrin, Depp retains many fans who are his ardent defenders. Just weeks after she welcomed daughter Stormi Webster into the world, Kylie Jenner was back on Instagram, wowing her fans with her post-pregnancy physique. Kylie was widely applauded for her fitness and nutrition efforts, but some fans expressed concerns that the 20-year-old cosmetics mogul was shedding the pounds too quickly. But despite the apparent ease with which she slimmed down after giving birth, it seems Kylie’s weight loss journey has not yet come to an end. A source close to the Kardashian-Jenner clan tells Heat magazine that Kylie is adhering to an extremely strict dietary regimen — one that has her loved ones deeply concerned. The insider claims that Kylie has been limiting herself to just 500 calories per day. “Kylie has been pretty much starving herself through the holiday season,” one insider tells the magazine. “She’s obsessed with having the best figure by the time the family go on their next holiday vacation.” Yes, it seems Kylie is motivated to lose even more weight due to her sense of competition with her sisters. The source says she borrowed the 500 calorie strategy from Kim, who used a similar method to trim down after both of her pregnancies. In keeping with current diet trends, sources say Kylie is also limiting herself to virtually no carbs. “She’s already got a body most women would kill for, but Kylie seems to be taking things to ridiculous extremes,” the insider continues. “She’s living off one smoothie and a handful of nuts and hot lemon water, and not much else.” Making matters worse is the fact that Kylie’s work schedule allows little time for rest. In addition to her work with her near-billion dollar cosmetics brand, Kylie continues to shoot new episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, anll the while curating social media pages with audiences of over 100 million each. On top of all that, Kylie follows her rapper husband Travis Scott on his current Astroworld tour whenever possible. It would be lot for any new mother to take on, and it’s not hard to see why Kylie’s family is concerned that she’s doing it all fewer calories than most Americans consume in a single meal. Controversial The Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancee, Lauren Burnham, are preparing for their upcoming wedding. Arie and Lauren are also expecting their first child , which is very exciting for them and for their fans. But now that he’s been with Lauren for a year, Arie is reminding former friend Jef Holm that Jef lost a bet — and needs to pay up. “Doesn’t matter who gets out of the limo…” Jef tweeted on January 1, 2018. Jef then wrote: “I’ll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison’s choice.” His generous offer came with one very simple condition. Jef would do so “if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone.” Arie has now been with Lauren Burnham for one year. In honor of the New Year, Arie ushered in 2019 as you would expect from a happily engaged man who’s expecting his first child. He brought up a frenemy’s old tweet. “Pay up @jefholm…” Arie’s tweet begins. Arie then demanded that Jef “Put that trust fund money into something positive instead of bottle service.” Trust fund-shaming is a time-honored tradition, but here it seems “A–hole” On the one hand, people should really not make vows to donate ot charitable causes unless they intend to follow through. Don’t say “I’ll eat my hat” if you don’t mean it — at least, don’t say it on television or in a tweet. It could come back to haunt you. (This is where Milennial and Gen Z humor comes in handy; just say something like “I will face God and walk backwards into hell,” quoting the great Dril) But Jef could make a very easy argument that he doesn’t owe Arie one red cent. Why? Because Jef’s words say “if Arie lasts one year with anything,” the spirit of tweet is extremely clear to everyone but Arie. He meant that the final winner on The Bachelor would not still be with Arie in a year’s time. Arie proposed to Becca Kufrin. She and Arie did not last even close to one year. He famously invited ABC to film him breaking up with her. It was only after the heartbreak that Arie proposed to Lauren Burnham. Has he been with Lauren for one year? Yes. But only after he backtracked, because she was his runner-up. Jef’s prediction wasn’t necessarily wrong. Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk Jr. used to be buddies. But in September of 2017, after it was revealed that Arie was going to be the next Bachelor, Jef explained why they were no longer friends. Sort of. Jef said that he had ended the friendship because Arie was “disgusting.” It’s unclear exactly what he meant by that, since he did not elaborate on what about Arie grossed him out. But his dislike is abundantly clear, and Arie is not hiding the fact that the loathing is mutual. Just like in other relationships, some friendships end messily. It’s a little baffling to see a soon-to-be father feuding on Twitter just a week and a half before his wedding. (His wedding date is January 12, 2019) Jef’s words must have really rubbed Arie the wrong way. It’s a little odd that Arie would bring this up at all, however. And yet she was recently taken to task by social media trolls, one of whom wrote: “Pre Eclampsia is no joke, and definitely not some storyline filler. Long before she became the infamous Backdoor Teen Mom , Farrah Abraham was simply a midwestern teenager coping with some very challenging circumstances. It's hard to imagine now, but there was a time when Farrah was the most sympathetic star on 16 and Pregnant , having lost her boyfriend, Derek Underwood, in a car wreck while she was pregnant with his child. The years since have brought tremendous change to Farrah's life, but she still took time to remember Derek on the 10th anniversary of his death last week. Of course, Farrah being Farrah, she did so in a wildly insensitive fashion that outraged her social media followers. Take a look: 1. Cemetery Party! Sigh. We had hoped that Samantha Markle would be one of those unfortunate trends we would be able to leave behind in 2018, like that stupid “flossing” dance, or talk of building the Wall. But alas Scammy Sammy is still clinging to relevancy in the new year. As you’re probably aware, Samantha is Meghan Markle’s awful half-sister . Meg’s story has been described as a fairytale, and unfortunately, it comes complete with bitter partial-sibling antagonists worthy of Cinderella. Samantha and her brother Thomas Markle Jr. have made it their life’s work to humiliate Meghan and cash in on her fame. Thankfully, they’ve been largely unsuccessful and have really only succeeded in humiliating themselves. Samantha’s most recent embarrassment was being deemed a “fixated person” and placed on a Scotland Yard watch list due to her worsening obsession with her half-sister. Sane people would take that as an indication that it’s time to back off and dedicate your time to something other than becoming the world’s most infamous stalker. But as she’s demonstrated many times, Samantha is anything but sane. Speaking to the UK’s Daily Star (London tabloids are the only ones who will give her the time of day at this point), Sam offered these thoughts about ways in which Meghan can improve herself in the year to come: “Your New Year’s resolution should be to be honest and pay tribute to those who have helped you the most such as your dad,” Samantha said. “Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you. “So many people around the world don’t have anyone who cares about them and hopefully you will count your blessings and reflect moving forward in the new year and pay that gratitude forward to your children so that they also thank you.” she continued. “It all comes full circle… it started with dad, and you can carry on the legacy,” Sam prattled on. “And of course, I would add to eat more chocolate to sweeten your disposition for the new year.” “Tiresome” doesn’t even begin to describe Sam’s ramblings at this point. “You owe everything to your family!” is such a bitter less-successful sibling argument that it’s impossible to imagine she’s unaware of how pathetic she comes off here. That said, “eat more chocolate” is a solid resolution we can definitely get behind. Of course, when it comes to sweetening one’s disposition, Sam could very much benefit from following her own advice. Just sayin’. Demi Lovato is reaydy to move on from the most challenging year of her life. This may be saying a lot for someone who battled substance abuse and an eating disorder for most of her time as a teenager… … but the singer nearly died of an overdose in July 2018. So, really, we don’t feel like it’s that bold of a claim overall. Just a few hours before the clock struck midnight and the calendar flipped to 2019, Lovato shared a heartfelt message on social media. It didn’t message the aforementioned overdose specifically, but it was clear what was on Demi’s mind when she wrote the following words: So grateful for the lessons I’ve learned this year. I will never take another day in life for granted, even the bad ones. Thankful for my fans, friends, family and everyone who supported me throughout this year. God bless. Lovato admitted to fans via a verse in a new song this past March that she had fallen off the wagon. She asked for their forgiveness and she seemed legitimately torn up by what had transpired. But just a few months later, what many followers and loved ones had feared for awhile finally came to tragic fruition: The artist was found unconscious by an employee in her bed. This employee called 911 and paramedics had to administer a special dose of medication to Lovato in order to revive her. She was minutes away from dying. Whiile reports have not been finalized or confirmed, it is strongly believed at this point that Lovato had completed a night out with friends and returned to her Hollywood Hills home very early in the morning. She then called her drug dealer. He arrived at her residence and provided her with OxyContin, allegedly laced with fentanyl, which the superstar reportedly free-based. She may have been unaware at the time that the dose was tainted. Still, the result is all that matters, as Lovato was rushed to the hospital and eventually enrolled in a new rehab program after several weeks under doctors’ supervision. The singer has been free from this facility for a couple months now and recently took to Twitter in order to shoot down reports of a relapse . “I love my fans and hate tabloids,” she wrote last week, emphasizing this message to those who care about her: “Don’t believe what you read. People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.” Concluded Lovato: “If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF.” Very well said, Demi. I have never heard of Nikki Valentina Rose….but now I have… She’s got the body of someone with some really fucked up body dysmorphia…trying to fill some kind of void….looking really fucking disgusting but thinking she looks awesome…because that is how crazy works…when the implants get to be this size for attention and to get noticed…they are nothing short of amazing. This is severe body modification….like some real fucking deep rooted issues exist in each of these implants and I find that all so much amazing….because broken women who live their lives like this…trying to accomplish whatever they can by having stupid fucking implants…on another level of stupid fucking implants…that make you wonder if she thought this one through at all…and she probably didn’t…making it even better..
