Lamar Odom: Throwing Shade at Khloe Kardashian Over Pregnancy News?!

OK, so it’s been nearly four months now since we first learned that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with her first child. Or one month, if you just want to go from her confirmation of the big news . Either way, that’s a pretty decent about of time for Lamar Odom to hear about the news and to come to terms with it. Or at least to come to terms with it enough to be able to give a statement on the subject without coming across as a little bit shady, right? Wrong! Lamar makes an appearance in an upcoming episode of Mancave, a talk shot on BET, and he was asked about Khloe’s pregnancy. “I’m happy for her,” he said. “She took care of me. She’ll be a good mother, for real. She’s a great woman.” And that part is sweet, right? It’s also very, very true. We all remember how, back in 2015, Lamar suffered an overdose that very nearly killed him, and how Khloe stayed by his side, even though they were going through a divorce. She even called off the divorce so that she’d be able to help make medical decisions for him when he was unable to do so himself. We heard about how she rarely left his side while he was in the hospital — if she ever did at all — and how she was so intent to stay with him that she didn’t even shower when things were touch and go there for a while. She said then that she stayed with him because while their marriage obviously didn’t work out, she still had love for him, and she couldn’t just abandon him in such a time. So she did take care of him, in a very real way. But this next thing that Lamar said in the interview? Well, it wasn’t quite so sweet … “I still got my shawty’s name still on me, her initials still on me,” he said, referring to the matching tattoos he and Khloe got on their hands when they were married. “But for no reason,” he clarified. He said that “I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.” Damn, Lamar, don’t hold back! We get that he’s probably just joking around, or trying to make light of a difficult situation , and of course the Kardashians have always appreciated professional athletes for boyfriends. But this just seems a little too catty, you know? It’s not like Khloe ran through NBA players after filing for divorce — which she did, by the way, at least in part because Lamar publicly cheated on her. The only serious relationships she had between Lamar and Tristan Thompson were with French Montana, a rapper, and James Harden. She was rumored to be dating Rick Fox for a little while in there, too, so Tristan would make her third NBA player after Lamar. But regardless of the types of men she decides to date, it’s obvious that she’s very happy right now, way happier than she was during much of her marriage to Lamar here. And really, that’s what counts. View Slideshow: Khloe Kardashian Pregnant: What Do We Know? What Do We Need to Know?

Jaime King for Love and Lemons of the Day

Jaime King is the new face/body of Love and Lemons, probably a friend deal, you know LA girls all know each other if they are at a certain echelon of success….because why else would a brand want some 38 year old to be their model…it just doesn’t make any logical or scientific sense…it’s gotta be a friend thing… Everyone who knows who Jaime King is, knows that before she was on whtever TV show she’s on, thanks to acting being a joke of a career that anyone can do.. She was a top NYC model with a huge heroin addiction in the late 90s….so deep into heroin her boyfriend died of an overdose on her…real deal shit… Far more interesting than this stylized shit that she’s obviously doing to try to still look hot…and I guess the good news is she’s still got that skinny heroin model body…because this fat would be terrible… The post Jaime King for Love and Lemons of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Lais Ribeiro and Cindy Bruna are Victoria’s Secret Answer to Inclusion of the Day

Here’s Victoria’s Secret’s idea of inclusion… They’ve got a Afro-Brazilian single teen mother Lais Ribeiro and her awesome ass….and their new blood named Cindy Bruna who is a 23 year old half Congolese model… Which almost offsets the brand from all the exploitation of factory workers they do in the sweatshop underwear they make – to keep costs down, margins high, to pay people like this to prance around half naked…and I guess afford the rent on all the mall locations because you can’t have a mall brand without a mall store you know…. Josephine Skriver Nipples of the Day

Josephine Skriver’s most interesting story, other than the fact that she’s AI, or pretty much the closest thing the world has come to a real life sex doll, or maybe you’d call her a clone, or genetic modification the human version, some DNA manipulating shit that is now in its 20s, a scientific revelation, where the technology is likely far more advanced if Victoria’s secret was to finance a homosexual biologist to help create more models…something they are definitely doing. Paypal’s Elon Musk is trying to go to Mars, Paypal’s Peter Thiel is trying to live forever, Victoria’s Secret is finding ways to save money on the imperfect period getting models they use…AI / RObots is the answer…. But more intersting than her being genetically modified is that she was a VIRGIN when she came to America to make it as a famous. AN ACTUAL VIRGIN…but then she ended up with some dude in a band who had a history of fucking models…which means she likely got the HERPES…but that’s just a right of passage… I like her hard nips in her selfie…. Here’s her ass at a VS Photoshoot TO SEE THE REST OF THE PICS CLICK HERE The post Josephine Skriver Nipples of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Is There A Government Conspiracy Against Haitian Immigrants?

The rest is here:

T he president and his administration are deliberately sabotaging legal Haitian immigration through a number of political channels, advocacy groups, activists and people from Haiti said this week. And if the president’s profane position on Haiti wasn’t already clear enough — he reportedly called the island nation a “shithole” and asked lawmakers  “Why do we need more Haitians?” — his administration doubled down on it Thursday by preventing people from Haiti from applying to work legally in the U.S. “Haitian nationals applying for H-2A and H-2B visas present extremely high rates of refusal, and those issued H-2A or H-2B visas have historically demonstrated high levels of fraud and abuse and a high rate of overstaying the terms of their H-2 admission,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wrote in an official notice released Thursday. “Haiti has shown no improvement in these areas, and the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, that Haiti’s inclusion on the 2018 H-2A and H-2B lists is no longer in the U.S. interest.” READ MORE: Trump Targets Legal Haitian Immigrants For Deportation The news came as tens of thousands of Haitian immigrants in the U.S. legally were facing the prospects of immediate unemployment because the Trump administration delayed the process of re-registering for the Temporary Protection Status (TPS) program under which they were brought them to the country following a deadly earthquake in 2010. As a result, many employers have reportedly warned their workers who are TPS holders that they may not have a job come Monday, when the protection status was set to expire. Oh damn. #Haiti (via @nadiatodres ) pic.twitter.com/JdTp3ReAQy — Jonathan M. Katz (@KatzOnEarth) January 18, 2018 “They told me that if I don’t bring the work papers, they will send me home because it is the law. You have to have work papers. I am under pressure,” Edelyne Jean, a nursing assistant in Florida, told the Associated Press . “They say that if I don’t bring anything new by Jan. 22 or the 23rd at the most, I am jobless.” Haitian advocates blamed DHS and suggested the delay was done intentionally to create the situation that TPS holders have found themselves in. READ MORE: Everything To Know About Temporary Protection Status “This is unconscionable, especially since if you recall, right before Thanksgiving 2017, the Department of Homeland Security announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians,” the Black Alliance for Just Immigration said in a brief statement on Wednesday. “They said they’d only be legally able to remain in the United States until July 22, 2019. Yet once again 60,000 people who have lived and worked in the U.S. for years and have established strong community ties will lose their ability to remain in any meaningful way in a matter of days.” Trump says he’s looking to protect our borders, but apparently he and his Mar-a-Lago club/estate don’t factor into that flawed equation. The U.S. has a grim legacy of involvement in Haiti. And it’s a legacy of occupation. pic.twitter.com/u2amoNX8PI — AJ+ (@ajplus) January 18, 2018 “The foreign workers brought in to help staff [Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club] tend to come from two countries,” including Haiti, the New Yorker reported . Aside from being the antithesis of humanitarian, moving to rid the country of TPS-holding Haitians as well as those with work visas is also a bad business decision that could adversely affect the country’s economy. “Haitian farmworkers on the H-2A visa that I have studied in Alabama added $4,000 to the U.S. economy per worker, per month,” Michael Clemens, a senior fellow at the non-partisan Center for Global Development, told NBC News . How Black Hollywood Is Failing The Black Press

Image via Danielle James/iONEDigital How Black Hollywood Is Failing The Black Press This article was written by staff writer and producer Keyaira Kelly and was originally published by our iONE sister site Hello Beautiful . I was a budding journalist nervously going over my iPhone notes for my first red carpet interview when I noticed it. I was proudly standing on the HelloBeautiful place marker waiting for the behind-the-scenes chaos to begin, when I spotted around my feet the strategic placements of almost every other Black outlet in the space. It doesn’t take a veteran to realize the Black press cluster at the end of red carpet lineups makes Black reporters susceptible to the brush-by of celebs and publicists who politely quip, “sorry, ran out of time” as they scurry out of view. Black media often receives rushed statements, or no comment at all, even though that same Black celebrity stopped for E! Online just moments ago. The strategic cafeteria table-esque segregation of Black press on red carpets is one of many micro-aggressions we face as Black journalists. And while being placed at the tail-end of a carpet is more indicative of the predominately White media system and its value assessment of Black press, these oversights are even more hurtful when they come from your own people. The fact is, too many of our Black celebrities are simply not supporting us. Most, if not all, Black celeb power seeds in our communities. The dominant corporations and media powers-that-be mine our talent and resources for the “next big thing.” And Black media celebrates when our people are plucked out of our silos and make it. We cheer as they float up into mainstream heaven with the hopes that, as they ascend, that they will still feel our loose grips on their balloon strings and tug back. But all too often, that mutual support just isn’t felt. In many cases, once a celebrity passes a certain status, they completely forget about those same Black media outlets who were among the first to cover them and their talents. We live in an age where social capital immediately translates into monetary capital. Re-tweets and shares translate into clicks, which drive traffic and advertising dollars and revenue. That’s the reality of our business model. So when small teams of Black journalists take the time and effort to profile a Black celebrity with a large reach and that content isn’t shared with the influencer’s audiences, the impact reverberates through us all. Just a simple scan of some of your favorite Black celebs Twitter and IG feeds and you would discover links to and RTs of interviews they did with White outlet after White outlet, while Black-owned, Black-run press is often omitted from the conversation. I don’t write this with the intent to say the erasure is entirely malicious or even conscious. The lure of White validation is something we’ve all been conditioned to seek. In 2016, Very Smart Brothas writer Damon Young, unpacked how he, and many other Black people, subconsciously value “the attention of the mainstream platforms more than the Black ones”–even if they don’t show us the same love back. We still throw up our hands in outrage when we lose Oscars and Grammys and Golden Globes to mediocre White talent, when in reality those systems were never created to celebrate us in the first place. After Beyoncés “Lemonade” album of the year Grammy snub in 2016, Solange echoed this sentiment urging black folks to “Create your own committees, build your own institutions, give your friends awards, award yourself, and be the gold you wanna hold my g’s.” Black press was born from that same place of urgency. Early 19th-century Black newspapers like the Freedom’s Journal, the North Star and the Frederick Douglas Papers sought to inform Black people from Black perspectives during a time when literacy rates were dismal among our people. After thriving for a century, many Black newspapers folded, unable to attract advertising dollars in the midst of economic crisis. Fortunately, the spirit of those early Black media outlets were reincarnated digitally, with outlets like The Root, Ebony, The Grio, Blavity, Black Voices, Madame Noire, Essence, and HelloBeautiful’s own parent company iOne Digital now carrying the torch and commitment to telling our stories our way. In a time where the press and freedom of speech are under attack more than ever before in modern history, the support from our communities and our celebrities is indispensable. When we say Black Lives Matter, we have to talk about this statement beyond the clutches of police brutality: behind every one of our bylines is a Black life. Black jobs matter. Black families matter. Black POVs matters. Black ownership matters. #BlackPressMatters. And when you have a company, like iOne Digital, which is one of the few remaining Black-owned media companies in the country, snubbed or not acknowledged for our coverage and support of Black interests, it eats away at the foundation of success that keeps our communities alive. So Black celebs, my brothers and sisters, I urge you to pay attention to the Black journalist at the end of the carpet nervously holding her recorder waiting to snag a quote from you. Tell your publicist that you want to give equal time to People Mag and MadameNoire. Google your name and make a note to retweet or share the latest article from the small Black women’s website that can’t get enough of your style choices. When breaking news happens, make it a point to share coverage from the black perspective as well as the big headline from CNN. After you complete an interview, post that photo inside our small studios and don’t forget to tag our brands. We’re all in this together. And nobody wins when the family forgets. Editor’s note: We truly hope this message sinks in with all of our beloved Black celebrities

Birdman Forced Out Of $12 Million Mansion Due To Money Troubles

See more here:

Birdman’s 2018 is not off to a great start. The Cash Money mogul has reportedly been forced out of his $12 million mansion due to his increasing money troubles. Birdman is feeling the financial woes https://t.co/F0Jjfk2Loa — BET (@BET) January 18, 2018 As reported by BET , Birdman has defaulted on a $12 million loan for his sprawling Miami mansion, and as a result he has been forced to vacate due to repeatedly delinquent payments on the property. He also has to surrender all access to the property’s security systems and passwords immediately. Via BET: The repossession of [Birdman’s] home stems from a strenuous lawsuit with EMG Transfer Agent, which accused the producer of failing to pay a $12 million loan. The mansion, which was bought for $14.5 million in 2012, was ultimately put up as collateral for the loan, according to The Blast. The court reportedly appointed a representative that will seize control of Birdman’s former residence, along with its contracts, leases and rental agreement. The rep will also hold on to the home’s furniture and equipment, including several recliners in the theater room, golden chairs and foyer. A judge mandated that the property cannot be sold or transferred until the entire legal issue is resolved. If you’ve been keeping up, then you may recall that Birdman has been involved in a string of money issues in recent years, most notably with former Cash Money Records superstar Lil Wayne due to his claim of unpaid royalties.   Check out today’s Top Stories here: Angela Bassett-Led Series ‘911’ Renewed For Season 2 Trailer Drops For Paula Patton + Omar Epps Thriller ‘Traffik’
