Sheriff David Clarke Will Accept Job With Homeland Security The guy we love to hate, tap-dancin’ Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke is set to become a federal employee. According to USAToday , Clarke has accepted a new job as assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. His job is described as a liaison of state in the Office of Partnership and Engagement. Clarke said one of his responsibilities would be to “take complaints of shortcomings in the Department of Homeland Security.” “They feel like they’re being ignored,” Clarke said of his counterparts in local law enforcement. We’re not sure what any of that REALLY means, but one thing’s for sure, if David Clarke has accepted the job that means that he’s going to be doing his best to undermine Black folks and blame us for any and all suffering. Designer Praised For Her Commitment To Women Of All Sizes & Shapes The New York Urban League saluted black fashion designer Tracy Reese for her pledge to make women of all ages shapes and sizes feel beautiful. The designer was among a group of women who were honored for their community work by the nonprofit advocacy group, which hosted it’s 52nd annual Frederick Douglass Awards Dinner March 16 at Chelsea Piers in New York City. Reese, dressed in one of her creations, took the modest route as she collected her award, thanking her father for giving her seed money to start her business, and promising to continue to represent for all women. “I love what I do,” Reese said, “and it’s my mission to provide women of all sizes and colors to look and feel beautiful….I hope we can all make a difference in someone’s life. That’s the beauty of life, when you can share it.” Also honored at the fete were Erica Payne, the president of Patriotic Millionaires, and Tiffany Warren, the president and founder of Adcolor, which encourages at-risk youth to take up painting. The event raised $35,250, which will help fund the Urban League’s programs and services, like STEM education and job training. Tuesday’s gala brought out the likes of journalist and entrepreneur Tai Beauchamp, Essence Magazine editor in chief Vanessa De Luca and former New York City Comptroller Bill Thompson. Gala co-chair Manny Gonzalez, the senior director of multicultural marketing for Moet Hennessy, later led the crowd in a toast to the honorees and the New York Urban League. “Some of us are wondering where the country’s leadership is,” Gonzalez said. “But one thing we don’t have to worry about is the New York Urban League and the leadership of Arva Rice.”

The self-proclaimed celebrity stylist has been rumored to have been a thirsty scammer and rapper side piece. Today, she says that the scammer part is not true. (She didn’t take time to address the side-piece part so we will leave it at that.) Saniy’yah says: To address all these “theft” rumors in my comments… In 2011 I stayed at a hotel in ATL on a “hookup”… the room was in someone else’s name (on their hookup) but my ID was used to check myself in. Me and (a close friend at the time) stayed there for approximately 4 or 5 days and ran up a room service bill. We left the hotel with unpaid charges. Being as tho my ID was on file, they put the charges on me. I later found out I had a warrant for this. Time went by and I was no longer friends with this person….. In 2012 I was staying in ATL at another hotel and posted a pic with my location. A person that I once considered a FRIEND contacted Atlanta PD and told where I was staying. I was arrested early that next morning for THEFT OF SERVICE!!! This same FRIEND waited for my mug shot to be posted online and blasted it all over social media along with a made up story that I robbed Meek Mill, stole from him and a bunch of other bullshit. In an attempt to slander my name or embarrass me.
