13 TV Characters Who Cheated Death

Cheating death is no small task.  Some of these characters were killed and made miraculous returns.  The others managed to avoid death by the skin of their teeth.  In some cases, these characters ruined the legacy of the show they were part of.  But we'll let you be the judge of that.  Have a look below.  1. Jon Snow – Game of Thrones Viewers witnessed Jon die at the conclusion of Game of Thrones Season 5, but he came back to life in the sixth season premiere thanks to Melisandre. It’s a pity he didn’t stay dead given that he had very little purpose in the final two seasons. 2. Alison DiLaurentis – Pretty Little Liars The whole point of the mystery of the freshman season was that these teenagers were being stalked a year after their friend went missing. In an unsurprising move, Ali had actually cheated death, and lived to scheme another day. 3. Lydia Davis – Revenge Lydia survived a fall from a high-rise balcony on to a vehicle below, and even a plane bombing. She must be a ninja to avoid death on those two occasions! 4. Cookie Lyon – Empire Cookie was doing too much on Empire when she tried to nurse Lucious back to good health. In a scary scene, she almost lost her life. That wasn’t the only time she almost died. 5. Dan Conner – Roseanne Dan died on the original series finale of this controversial comedy series. However, the show’s revival explained the “death” as a joke. Yikes. 6. Huck – Scandal Huck was always a complicated character with murderous tendencies. When he thought he found the woman of his dreams who understood him, the rug was pulled from under him and he was shot several times. After leaving fans in the lurch for multiple weeks, we learned that he had put in the trunk of a car and managed to escape because he imagined what his colleagues would tell him to do. Ridiculous? Lisa Vanderpump Claps Back at Kyle Richards’ Epic Twitter Rant

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards made everyone’s day on Tuesday with a scathing Twitter rant about the cast’s drama . The 29-tweet takedown saw Kyle spilling all the tea about her conflict with several cast members, and especially former costar Lisa Vanderpump. But there was no way Lisa was going to take that lying down, and now she’s clapping back in response to Kyle’s tweet-storm. “It’s ironic, now I’m not so hurt I can be more objective,” Lisa began, while discussing the drama with a fan on Thursday. “If I wanted to hurt any of them, there were so many things going on,” she said. According to Lisa, the ammo she had against her former costars included “lawsuits, bankruptcies, shops failing, shows cancelled, loans in default, etc.” “I never said a word,” the 58-year-old resterautuer recalled. Maybe she didn’t then, but it seems like now Lisa is ready to put social graces aside and throw a little shade herself. Lisa did preserve a bit of class, opting not to go into specifics, but it’s pretty clear what she’s talking about. The lawsuits Lisa mentioned must surely include the one against Kyle’s husband Mauricio. Mauricio’s real estate company is accused of scamming someone out of $37 million, and it’s been a tender subject for Kyle. The failed shop is likely Kyle’s Beverly Hills store, Kyle by Alene Too, which closed down for good last year. And the cancelled show is probably  American Woman , another of Kyle’s projects, which was canned after just one season.  It seems like most of Lisa’s shade is aimed at Kyle, even if she’s not exactly spelling it out for us. “Me on the other hand,” Lisa continued, “I am a liar, coward, sniper, bad teeth, awful friend.” “Terrible wine, the list goes on… awful really,” Lisa recalled, listing the many greivances her costars seem to have with her. Honestly though, Kyle didn’t mention any of those things in her twitter rant. Clearly Lisa has internalized some of the criticism she’s received from the cast elsewhere, and is choosing this moment to pop off about it. But let’s not put words in Kyle’s mouth. She didn’t show up on twitter just to assassinate Lisa’s character. As we can see from Kyle’s flurry of tweet’s, Lisa’s falling out with the cast is rooted in the now infamous dog drama between Lisa and Dorit Kemsley. Long story short, Dorit adopted a dog from Lisa’s Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and it didn’t work out. Instead of returning the dog to Lisa’s foundation, Dorit found a new owner for the dog, who in turn sent the dog to some other shelter. This apparent betrayal caused bad blood between Dorit and Lisa, and grew into a conflict between Lisa and pretty much all the other housewives. Rather than coming at Lisa for her “bad teeth,” Kyle accused her of “scheming about how to make your friend look bad.” According to Kyle, this scheming has become a pattern for Lisa, and that’s why none of the other housewives seem to like or trust her. It’s so important to really listen to your friends when they say they have a problem with your actions, especially if it’s a pattern of repeated behaviors. If your only response to criticism is to fixate on what names you’ve been called and shift the focus to someone else’s flaws, then you’re probably missing the point. Despite being ousted from the gang, Lisa seems to feel like she’s not missing out.  “Glad I stepped away,” she said in summation. “Also pump rules has been amazing this year,” she concluded, taking the opportunity to plug her own show. Although Lisa won’t be on future seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Part 3 of the Reunion Special will air next week on Bravo. Amber Portwood’s Brother Speaks Out: She’s Been FRAMED By Andrew Glennon!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Amber Portwood is in a considerable amount of trouble. The troubled Teen Mom OG star stands accused of assaulting boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he was holding the couple’s 1-year-old baby. Glennon claims Portwood threw a shoe at his head, ran after him with a machete, and attempted to break down a door after he locked himself in a bedroom with baby James. Obviously, this is not the first time that Amber has been arrested on assault charges, and most folks who are familiar with her explosive temper have little doubt as to the veracity of Andrew’s claims. But despite the fact that she very likely engaged in some truly monstrous behavior, Amber has quite a few supporters. At her first court hearing on Thursday, Amber was joined by several of her co-stars, including Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Cheyenne Floyd. Lowell has taken flak for her support of Amber , but neither she nor the other Moms have shown any indication of backing down from their position. But for all their loyalty, the stars of TMOG will never have the title of Amber’s Biggest Supporter. No, that title goes to Amber’s brother, Shawn Portwood — aka Bubby — a man whose ultra-close relationship with his sister has often been described by fans as creepy, inappropriate — and just flat-out icky. Shawn spoke with The Ashley’s Reality Roundup this week, and not surprisingly, it seems he’s 100 percent in Amber’s corner: “This whole thing is a setup and it has been from the beginning, the more I read about what’s going on,” Shawn told The Ashley. “It’s amazing that [Andrew’s]trying to get her to pay for literally everything so that he doesn’t have to pay for anything. “[He’s] fighting for full custody [and] he’s trying to get her to pay for his insurance.” Seems like an odd motive, considering Glennon comes from money and enjoyed a lucrative career as a TV producer before he met Amber. But Shawn is going all-in on the “Andrews as gold digger” narrative: “[Andrew’s] trying to get her to pay child support,” Shawn continued. “He’s trying to get her to pay for everything and make it to where the only thing he has to do is literally just look after the boy. It is not fair and she doesn’t deserve what’s happening to her.” Shawn went on to claim that Andrew repeatedly lied to Amber over the course of their relationship: “Apparently he said he had a lot of things that Amber recently come to find out it weren’t true,” he said. In recent weeks, Amber has accused Andrew of cheating on her, but it seems Shawn is suggesting there’s even more going on than just the infidelity. Whatever the case, we’re sure to find out a whole lot more about Portwood and Glennon’s relationship as their custody battle unfolds in the weeks to come.  And in case you’re wondering — yes, the legal drama is being filmed for Teen Mom: OG . Briana DeJesus Extends Olive Branch to Kailyn Lowry: Let’s Take a Vacation Together!

The feud between Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry may not be as intense as some of the Teen Mom beefs we’ve seen over the years. But it’s been going on for quite some time, and at one point, it was serious enough that Briana might have dated Javi Marroquin just to get back at Kail. Those days are well behind them, and we don’t think either mom has any interest in fighting over the newly-engaged Javi at this point. Still, Briana and Kail never quite buried the hatchet — their feud just sort of slowly petered out. Now, however, for the first time in a very long time, DeJesus is speaking openly about her feelings toward Lowry. And we think everyone — including Kail — will be surprised by what she had to say. According to a new interview with Radar Online , Briana is interested in making peace with Kail — though she admits the process would be “awkward as hell.” And it seems Bri has a plan to help ease the transition from bitter enemies to colleagues who can peacefully coexist at work functions: “I know the girls of the Teen Mom OG cast took a trip together. I’m down for a mom’s trip for our cast,” DeJesus tells Radar. In case it wasn’t clear, she added, “That includes bringing Kail.” Obviously, pulling all the Moms away from their disparate lives and shipping them off to a beach together would make for some difficult conversations. But Bri rightly believes the experience would also yield some compelling television: “Yeah it would be awkward as hell, but it would make for some great TV,” DeJesus says. She goes on to clarify that she’s not just interested in creating some dramatic moments for the cameras — Bri says she genuinely wants to make peace with Kail: “Speaking of Kail I want to make one thing clear- what’s in the past is in the past,” she tells Radar. As for bygone dust-ups like the time DeJesus and Lowry nearly came to blows at a Teen Mom 2 reunion? Briana claims that’s all behind her now. “I’m open to being mature, moving on, and filming the reunion as a whole group this year,” she says. In concluding her statements on Kail, Bri concedes that it takes two to tango, and it’s up to Lowry to decide if there will be Teen Mom peace in our time: “Of course, that’s not up to me but I’m putting the ball in her court,” DeJesus says. “It would be a nice change of pace to all be together and let the drama go,”  Well, we guess Kail has to ask herself some tough questions now — first and foremost: what would DeJesus do? Jenelle Evans Blasts Amber Portwood: She’s Worse Than My Husband!

You may not believe this, but Jenelle Evans has a few thoughts about Amber Portwood. The former Teen Mom star has jumped on Twitter to pass judgment on the current Teen Mom OG star, whose status as an MTV employee is now very tenuous… considering she was arrested on July 5 for domestic assault. Evans, of course, knows a thing or two dozen about domestic assault cases. She also knows something about losing custody of one's kids, a fate that befell Jenelle for about a month after her husband shot his family's dog — and which has now befallen Amber as a result of her arrest. Does Jenelle has sympathy for her long-time rival? Not exactly. Okay: Not at all. Scroll down to see what Jenelle now has to say about everything… 1. Let’s Start with the Obvious: Amber and Jenelle do not get along, not in any way, shape or form. 2. The Same Can Be Said About Amber and David Eason Remember how Portwood went off on Eason several months ago, labeling him a “disgusting clown?” 3. Jenelle Evans Ignores Pregnancy Rumors, Opens Up About Health Problems: I’m Sick AF, Dude!

It would be a massive understatement to say that Jenelle Evans has a habit of misleading the public. Evans lies so frequently in interviews and on social media that we're sure it's second-nature to her at this point. Jenelle has accused David Eason of abuse and then claimed the altercation never happened. She's stated that David shot her dog in a fit of rage, and then abruptly changed her story and claimed that he did so only to protect his daughter. With everything that Jenelle has lied about over the years, it's no surprise that the public has a hard time believing her when she talks about her myriad health problems. This week, Jenelle decided to open up about her medical issues once again — and as usual, fans are having a hard time believing her claims. Take a look: 1. Seeking Treatment Jenelle has been in and out of the hospital almost as many times as she’s been in and out of jail these past ten years — and yet it’s never really clear what’s wrong with the former Teen Mom 2 star. 2. Medical Mystery This might be because Jenelle’s condition is difficult to diagnose — or it could be because Evans has offered up some seriously confusing information over the years. 3. Getting Her Story Straight Jenelle’s symptoms seem to change frequently, and over the years she’s told some incredible tales of medical emergencies. 4. The Plane Truth For example, Evans claims she’s no longer able to take long-distance flights, as the altitude causes her symptoms to flare up. 5. Shakes On a Plane Jenelle says her most recent cross-country flight caused her such pain that she took to lying in the aisle between seats, writhing and wailing. Many of her followers pointed out that this likely would have resulted in an emergency landing. 6. What’s the Deal? So what’s really wrong with Jenelle? Jersey Shore Recap: Ronnie SLAMS Jenni, Sides With Her Abuser!

When Jersey Shore ‘s famous gang of guidos decided to spend a few days at a dude ranch in the Adirondacks, they had no idea what the outcome of Mike Sorrentino’s sentencing hearing would be. Now, of course, we know that Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months behind bars for tax fraud. He’ll likely be released to a halfway house sometime in the next six weeks, but at the time of the random mountain vacation and the heartwarming “ranchelor party,” Mike’s future seemed uncertain — and a little bit scary. But in the meantime, the guidos decided to handle the situation the same way they handle every situation — by partying, of course. Unfortunately, there was some disagreement as to what sort of party should take place. Party games and a surprise visit from Mike’s fiancee, or strippers, strippers, and more strippers? Bizarrely, the crew decided to do both, and somehow — it worked out. Lauren Pesce (or “Laurens,” as she’s known on the show, for some reason) didn’t seem bothered by the presence of every stripper in the Tri-State area, and she and Mike eventually made their way to their own cabin, complete with rose petals on the bed and a pair of assless chaps. (Serious question: Is “assless chaps” a redundancy? Is there any other kind of chap?) There were other developments, of course, including Snooki getting so plowed there were times when it looked like we were about to witness a death by alcohol poisoning. But the big drama of the night came when Ronnie Ortiz-Magro decided to ask Jenni Farley about her relationship. Farley was going through a divorce at the time and clearly had no interest in discussing the matter with Ron — or anyone, for that matter. And yet, he persisted — operating under the logic that if she had such strong opinions about his tumultuous relationship with Jen Harley , then her relationship should be fair game, as well. “That’s how you fell in love, right?” Ron asked Jenni referring to Mike and Laurens. “I don’t want to be on camera with this,” said an unusually taciturn JWoww. “It’s already out there, so just…” he replied. “We don’t talk about it here, though,” she promptly interrupted. It may seem a bit unbalanced, but Jenni may have made it clear that her relationship was off-limits for her discussion on the show, which makes Ron quite the d-bag for pursuing it. “You acting like you feel nothing? That doesn’t work for nobody ever,” he later said while opening up to Angelina, of all people. “Like, when me and Jen [Harley] fight, and she acts like — that makes me more mad. You know? Be real.” In the midst of a full-on Ron-page and egged on by Angelina, he continued. “Stop acting like you’re not hurting. That’s what I’m saying. Stop acting like you’re not hurting,” Ron said. “There’s no way that this man is — I know what he’s going through. To be with somebody that’s so cold and shows no emotion and is just so — and all you do is give and give and give, like, it hurts.” And in a confessional segment at the end of the show, Ron hit us with this kicker: “That’s why me and Roger [Mathews] are so close ’cause we’ve been dealing with the same person.” To be fair, this was before Jenni accused Roger of abuse , but it was still out of line. In fact, it made us rewind to the scene where Ronnie busted his ass running from a wasp in order to enjoy that slapstick 18 more times. Dude had it coming! View Slideshow: Jen Harley: What Arrest?? Zach and Tori Roloff Gush Over Each Other on Fourth Wedding Anniversary

Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff has already been dazzling fans with the cutest baby bump photos ever . Now, she and Zach are gushing at each other over social media. Thursday, July 25 was their four year anniversary, and they’re still crazy about each other. Take a look: “4 years with my babe uh!!” Tori gushed on Instagram. She affirmed: “These past four years have truly been a gift.” “Zach,” Tori wrote. “You have made me a better person these last 4 years.” “And,” she added. “Have given me the gift of being your wife and becoming a mom! TWICE!” That’s right — in case you somehow missed the happy news, Tori is pregnant with Baby #2! “You are the most caring and thoughtful person that I know,” Tori affirmed as her loving post continued. “And I have loved watching you grow,” she expressed. “And become a better husband and an amazing father.” “You really toot our family,” Tori raved. “And have given us everything we could ever ask for.” “I love you so much babe uh!” she concluded. “Happy anniversary!” Tori and Zach were married on July 25, 2015. Zach had his own message for Tori on their anniversary. “Happy Anniversary, Tori!” he wrote on Instagram. “Love you.” He followed those affectionate words with a heart eyes emoji and then a winky face emoji. That message may have been short and sweet, but he of course had a lot more to say. As Tori revealed in her Instagram Stories, he gave her flowers that were signed “your Zachary.” “My husband > ” Tori captioned the image, indicating that her husband is greater than all others. Caryn Chandler, longtime girlfriend of Matt Roloff, chimed in. “Happiest Anniversary, Z & T,” Caryn gushed on social media. “I [love] watching your beautiful fam grow,” she expressed. Caryn continued: “[and] hanging out [with] you guys is pretty awesome, too!” “Xxoo #coolestcouple #cheers,” she concluded. So kind! Tori and Zach did more than just exchange kind words and flowers for their anniversary, of course. The pair of them had a romantic date night on the water. “Cruising around the Willamette with my favorite person was a perfect way to spend our anniversary!” Tori gushed in a subsequent Instagram post. At Zach, she wrote: “Love you so much babe uh!” They really are too cute for words. And as this family grows, that cuteness will only intensify. Tori and Zach are so excited about Baby #2. This will be an even bigger deal for Jackson, who is still such a little guy himself but is so excited about becoming a big brother. Longtime viewers of Little People, Big World feel like they’re almost a part of the family. After all, they watched so many of the kids grow up. Now they’re watching those kids get married and have multiple children of their own. It’s beautiful. Congratulations to Tori and Zach on their four year anniversary. Fernanda Flores: Desperate for Cash After 90 Day Fiance, Divorce?

Last month, Fernanda Flores posted a 44-minute video to explain why she and Jonathan Rivera split. She made it clear that they’ve both moved on. Jonathan has himself a new girlfriend and has not been shy about their adventures together. But it turns out that Fernanda’s new venture may be a little less glamorous than the modeling career that many had assumed. Fernanda is a gorgeous young model living in Chicago, she’s newly divorced, and she even has a boost to her name thanks to 90 Day Fiance fame. The world is her oyster, right? Maybe not. Earlier this week, reports began to circulate that Fernanda was spotted waitressing in Chicago. While it’s true that many bartenders and waitresses are hired in part for their looks, it’s definitely not the same as being a model. Now, the tales of her employment have been confirmed. An eagle-eyed fan spotted Fernanda and was actually served by her at The Shore Club in Chicago. This was on July 4 — the day on which Fernanda posted a photo of herself in red and blue beside a massive beach ball. The fan contacted 90 Day Fiance blogger and unsung hero John Yates and even DMed him some photos, which he shared to Instagram. That looks like Fernanda to us. What’s more is that the fan even volunteered an assessment of what Fernanda was like. “I don’t think she was thrilled I was taking pictures,” the fan confesses to John Yates. “But I was drunk,” the fan explains. “And had to prove it to my friends.” For the record, taking photos of a public figure — like a reality star — is not the same as Alex From Target -ing someone. Still, please be respectful. The fan had nothing but nice things to say about Fernanda. “Even more gorgeous in person,” the fan assesses. “And was working her ass off!” Fernanda didn’t come to America for the American dream, strictly speaking. She came here for love. (People love to accuse her of being a golddigger, but even Jonathan has dismissed those accusations) She lost that love, and now she’s living … well, not the American dream, but the reality of American life. Being a waitress or a bartender or working in food services in any capacity is hard. Customers , as a group, are the worst people on earth. Anyone willing to look them in their soulless eyes and smile is courageous and a dedicated worker. Good for Fernanda for finding gainful employment, particularly in an economy in which one job is so rarely enough to keep you afloat. Her primary goal, we’re sure, is to be able to pay her bills and continue to live her life. That’s how jobs work. But this will also go a long way towards showing people that she didn’t come to the US to lounge around like a princess. We’re sure that she’s still modeling — she’s too gorgeous to not be modeling, really. But if she needs a steadier income to keep a roof over her head or to keep her bills paid, she chose a fine line of work. Congratulations on the new job, Fernanda.
