Yet another reason for us to love this show! “Game Of Thrones” Under Fire For Using George Bush’s Head On Stake In Scene HBO has apologized for using a model head of former President George W. Bush in a grisly decapitation scene for its hit drama “Game of Thrones.” The tenth episode of the first season of “Game of Thrones,” now out on DVD, features the younger Bush’s head on a stake. Commentary on the DVD notes that his head appears in a “couple of beheading scenes.” The show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss stated that George W. Bush’s was used as physical inspiration to create a head for a scene in which King Joffrey shows Sansa Stark her deceased father’s head on a stick. “It’s not a choice, not a political statement!” one of the writers insisted during the DVD commentary. “We just had to use what heads we had around.” HBO did not respond to FOXNews.com’s request for comment, but as outrage mounted Wednesday, the network released a statement saying they were “deeply dismayed to see this and find it unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste.” HBO also said the scene would be removed from future DVD pressings. The producers also attempted to explain the incident. “We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can’t afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk,” their statement read. “After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise.” Faux News is also reporting that some Tweeps want to boycott the network over this… SMH. TMZ spoke with Hollie C. — a 24-year-old Australian tourist who went to club W.i.P. Wednesday night with some friends. Hollie tells us she was hanging out and having a good time when the brawl exploded between Brown’s entourage and Drake’s entourage. So it looks like I’m bullying someone who welcomed the smack. She said “I wish you would.” She cut the conversation off because she doesn’t want anyone to know wh she really is. She’s a total different person outside of this. Being a celebrity is not for everyone, some people’s heads get inflated, some don’t. And if you have new people around you in your life, and it’s not the people you’ve been around forever, that says a lot about a person. If you could do this over, would you have never appeared on the show? I just wish my reaction wouldn’t have been that. I can’t take that back now, but that’s the way I was raised, that’s how I grew up, that’s a normal reaction of mine. Evelyn: Can I just say I have known Nia for years, and I have never in all those years seen Nia cry — you know I cry at the drop of a hat — and ever since all the negativity and the lawyers and everything, I have never seen her cry like this until now and it’s tough. My, my, such hostility… Miguel Warns Other Artists About Biting His Style Miguel has a stern warning for the competition: Stay out of his lane or he will “f**k you up.” The R&B crooner is taking a tough stance when it comes to his music and those who try to imitate his style. The 25-year-old is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to his 2010 debut All I Want Is You. “It’s definitely a progressive album,” he told Mina SayWhat on Philadelphia radio station Power 99. “I would describe it as being progressive in the sense that I’m taking a lot of my more alternative influences and incorporating them.” Over the past few months he released his trilogy of Art Dealer Chic micro EPs to give fans a taste of his new direction. “‘Adorn’ is a great segway because it’s very soulful, but still has some alternative elements,” he said. “I think that’s what makes it really cool. It’s a very honest representation of where I’m at, but it’s just a segway.” But those who attempt to adopt his sound should take caution. “I’m just gonna say, ‘Don’t nobody out there step into my fu**in’ lane. Stay where you’re at,’” he warned. “I’m a competitive person and what I’m saying is I’m solidifying my lane and don’t fu**ing come over here ’cause I will f**k you up.” He explained himself further. “I want everyone to express themselves in a unique way. I’m saying that in an aggressive way ’cause that’s how I really feel, but what I mean by that is find your own thing to do and create your own lane.” Don’t expect many features on his sophomore album. “I’m a man who wants to stand on his own two feet.
